So, yet another week has been and gone, bringing with it a new Switch system update, new fish and bugs to catch in Animal Crossing, and even the wonderful fact that Tom Nook somehow made it on to the front page of the Financial Times (how utterly brilliant?), but now it's time to finally sit back and relax.
Members of Team Nintendo Life have gathered together to discuss our weekend plans, and we'd love for you to join in via our poll and comment sections below. Enjoy!

This weekend Animal Crossing will be getting side-lined as Streets of Rage 4 takes up my gaming time. Along with so many fans, I’ve been waiting to see if it can possibly stand alongside the mighty Mega Drive trilogy. If the first few stages are anything to go by (not to mention the very warm critical reception), it manages to be more than a simple love letter to the past, with new mechanics, music and a style of its own which push the series forward without losing that special juice. Throughout development I was relatively confident it would end up more of a Sonic Mania than a Sonic the Hedgehog 4, but it might have surpassed even that awesome revival. So I'll be on a grand upper this weekend.
I mean, I’ll also be carrying on with my flower breeding and turnip purchasing, but that’ll be squeezed in between brawling in the streets. Animal Crossing and Streets of Rage – what a double bill!

This weekend, I'll probably have a ton of free time and not much that I'm interested in playing, so I'm sure I'll start to dig into my backlog, maybe take a break from Nintendo games and just go read a book... yeah, I can't do this.
Animal Crossing. I'm gonna be playing Animal Crossing all weekend long, friends. Every time I think I can break away, they add a new update - like May Day's - and I am totally okay with that.

It's finally happened, everyone. I've finally started to slow down a little with Animal Crossing: New Horizons. I still have plenty of things that I want to achieve and I'm still finding a little bit of time each day to make a bit of money and check for new goods in the shops, but I'm definitely starting to find myself turning the game off a little quicker than I used to.
Alongside that, I've been getting stuck into Resident Evil 4 on the Wii for the very first time. It's actually my first experience with the franchise as a whole and I was nervous that I wouldn't like it as much as everyone else - perhaps everyone else felt nostalgic over it and it wouldn't actually be that great to play by today's standards - but I really shouldn't have been. I'm really enjoying my time with it so far, even with Ashley shouting 'Leeeooooon' every five minutes.

I have been counting down the days until release and I admit to being relieved that it is here and it is magnificent: Streets of Rage 4 is already on my GOTY 2020 shortlist! On the other hand, I also plan to play Streets of Rage 4 now that I have unlocked Adam. I will also make some time to try Streets of Rage 4 - heard the soundtrack is all sorts of amazing. But will need to fit in a bit of Streets of Rage 4 to discover those secret retro levels. Will also try to play some Streets of Rage 4 under protest because Shiva remains an NPC… at the time of writing, at least.
My game of the week is… well, wouldn't you know, it’s Streets of Rage 4! Didn't see that coming. Pass the floor chicken, please.
As always, thanks for reading! Make sure to leave a vote in the poll above and a comment below with your gaming choices over the next few days...

Mostly Trials of Mana. It's really addicting and, besides some smaller issues, a solid game!
I've been busy playing Animal Crossing and Radiant Historia. Radiant Historia is a gem of a game. I can't believe I let a whole decade go by without trying it, but I'm enjoying it immensely.
I had told myself i would play a backlog game before another go on Civ 6 but here I am starting a new game again. Something about the rhythm of the game really drawing me in at the moment.
Animal Crossing, as well as Trails of Cold Steel II. Still baffles me that 3+4 are coming to Switch but the first two aren't right now.
Troubleshooters. Sadly, only on PC.
Still Final Fantasy X for me.
It just took me 3 attempts to beat Seymour Flux. I’m guessing that within the next week I’ll have reached the end of the game?
This week I will be mostly playing
Final Fantasy 7 (just started “disc 2”)
Dr Mario Miracle Cure
@playthedangame how’s Trails Of Cold Steel 2? I’m waiting for the first game to arrive in the post (Vita) because not on Switch as you say
Gonna finish Wolfenstein 2 this weekend and after that, start playing Streets of Rage. Can’t wait.
Animal Crossing is arriving this week and I can't wait! Until then, though, I'm sinking some time into Smash Ultimate's World of Light! I love the single-player offerings this time around. Have a great weekend everyone!
Some dude said streets of rage 4 game is Trash!! So I'm playing the trash game and loving every bit of the trash!!! It's so trash I'm playing in hardest difficulty and dying every now and then... Get frustrated rage quit and come back again.. now I'm through playing in hardest (completed) moved over to maniac difficulty biting my fingers😁😁😁 hoping not to break my switch(cherry is helping out with her sprint😉 no spoilers here).... Will play wario land 4 to ease my pains albeit on 3ds.... I'm giving it a 10 for streets of rage 4.
Animal Crossing NH
Luigi's Mansion 3
The excellent Streets of Rage 4 which is already my favourite game this year so far. It matches the feel of the originals whilst adding enough new mechanics to feel fresh and with some great secrets and unlockables. The best brawler since the 90's
Animal Crossing, Zelda BotW, Mario Kart 8 and Super Mario Odyssey
Streets of Rage 4 nonstop.
My Nintendo Picross Twilight Princess, Animal Crossing and SNK Fighter Gals
Picking up Streets of Rage 4 today. I shall play it.
@JoeDiddley
More or less just started it haha. Good so far, I've heard a lot more happens in this one. As good as the first one was, it was a little slow. Hope you enjoy too!
My daughter is hooked on SM3DW so I’ll be helping her with that. For my evenings after family has gone to bed continue with TimeSplitters 2 and FT on GC and keep progressing with Switcher3.
I've got right back into Stardew Valley. I'd already spent near 100 hours on it and built a rather impressive farm but I hadn't played it for over a year. I wasn't sure how easy it would be to get back into after so long away but a few in-game days and I'm right back in the swing of it. I'm now 10 days into Spring, year 3 and the money is rolling in, around 20k per day and I've just expanded my farm to make room for a rice paddy by the lake. Now I'm going to work on getting that greenhouse constructed, the ruins are an eyesore on my otherwise beautifully constructed farm.
Perhaps some Splatoon 2, it's been a while.
I'll be buying and playing Streets of Rage 4 too, cannot wait to get stuck into it.
Tempted to start Metro Last Light after having completed 2033 on Ranger Mode. Don't know if I can take that type of stress again though 😅
Some Animal Crossing, Streets of Rage and I also downloaded G-Loc: Air Battle from the Sega Ages series too!
Decided to hook my Wii up this week and having a blast with Mario Strikers. Wii Fit told me I was obese Tuesday so the diet has begun!
Will definitely be trying to catch those May fish on AC:NH and also just started Ocarina of Time 3D
Xenoblade 3D still for me. Hit a wall with a boss near the end of the game (I think). Will go back and do some other stuff before I make my third attempt.
On switch I’ve really got back into FE3H again so think I might actually end up finding my first play through in the coming weeks. A big thing has been working out how to skip through the monastery sections quickly as I find those a bit tedious.
More Xenoblade and Fire Emblem, dusting off some Snake Pass, dipping toes into The Order 1886 (like Drake's Fortune and TLoU, a PS exclusive with a dedicated option to swap L1+R1 and L2+R2 controls for shooting and such... I'm not tearing up, YOU'RE tearing up). Possibly more PictoQuest and Evoland (just started the second entry in the latter), too. Potentially some Namco x Capcom if the mobile emulator I'm using doesn't keep mangling field character sprites every five minutes into a session - I'm not tech-versed enough to find if it's something I should configure or just Pocophone's "low video memory" the app tends to insist on and complain about.
This weekend, more Asphalt 9, and hoping to get around to playing more Mario and Sonic at the Tokyo Olympic Games. On the PC side of things, planning to play Halo. May play other games in addition to these, not sure which ones yet.
I plan to finish up Mario Maker 2's story mode today. I'm sitting at 91% completion with only one part of the castle to build. It's been pretty fun, but some of those levels are incredibly frustrating. Nintendo can be sadistic sometimes. Will jump into the level editor after to make a full fledged Mario game, like I've always wanted to do. (EDIT: Just beat the game an hour ago. That final level's car segments were awful). Will also jump back into Splasher for single player gaming progression next.
My wife and I are almost done Cat Quest 2. We're close to lvl 90, doing every side quest and cave we can find. I'm still a little more fond of the original, due to liking the story a lot more. But the sequel is still awesome.
Also grabbed Unlock the King and Totes the Goat for mere cents on the shop. My library now sits at 28 full rows of games. Probably 30 if I would redownload all those qubic games from that free Christmas grab bag, or any of the games I've deleted. I may have a problem. Surprisingly, I am keeping up with my backlog more than you would think, despite this.
Street's of Rage 4 on Xbone and Asphalt 9 and some Splatoon 2 on Switch....
Might try to do a few races on Mario Kart online also....
I was done with Streets of Rage 4 the day it came out, was not worth the price at all. It's not a bad game, in fact had it came out 10 years ago I may have liked it more but there are far better fighters on the Switch now.
Gonna play some Stardew, Animal Crossing and go through Resident Evil Revelations 2 which I like more than the recent remakes.
I'm sure there's a Smash Tournament on this weekend so might have a go. Also playing Kirby: Nightmare in Dreamland on GBA.
Most of all though will be sinking more hours into Xenoblade Chronicles X, being able to fly and explore all these new areas is addictive and need to power myself up so I can take on all these huge monsters - I'm really hooked on this one. Perfect game for a lockdown.
animal crossing been keeping me busy
I've been playing animal crossing new horizons but got bored with it, so I've been playing mario maker 2, but this weekend I'm just going to play my Nes
I'll be pulling up weeds, watering flowers, shaking trees, getting stung by bees and bitten by tarantulas and when Ive got time I'll be helping my crush and her gang take down Shinra.
Trials of mana is quite addictive, and I finally got back to the mummy demastered. Coming to the end. I bought Steamworld quest and Road redemption on that recent sale (40% and 50% off).
I'll try to beat the commissioner again on Streets of Rage 4 (not got the timing quite right).
Will try and take on Deviljho on MH3U.
A few levels of Rainbow six Vegas and a few rounds of R6 siege.
Maybe a few stages on Geometry wars galaxies to relax.
A little bit of Mad Max to clear territory.
Should be a fairly full weekend.
Bloodstained on my PS4 and Observer on my Switch.
Love me some dystopian cyberpunk and gothic horror themes
Hmm... what to play...?
Animal crossing! This game is just too hard to stop playing.
Well it looks like more mario party with the fam, a bit of SOR4 and i actually picked up tetris99 yesterday and managed to get my wife addicted to it (she hates videogames)Would have like a mode to run you through some of the combos tho and ways to lay blocks to get good combos etc. Its a bit disheartening when you keep coming in the 50s or 60s due to people being fantastic at it.
@hadrian someone with common sense about SOR 4 bravo sir
@carlos82 id have to disagree and say double dragon advance from 2003 on gba is a way better game than SOR 4 and the best since the 90s. Have you played it?
Animal Crossing: New Horizons will be on my playlist for the next few years, but at this point it’s just for the daily grind and whatnot. Other than that, I’m hoping to start the Golden Sun trilogy, beginning with the first GBA game. I’ve owned all three games for years, but I’ve never had the time to play through them. I figure it’s now or never. Also, just for kicks, I picked up Totally Reliable Delivery Service to play online with a friend, and that game is just mindless fun.
Streets of Rage 4
Love it! The replayability is through the roof. For me at least. Can't wait to play it together with my oldest daughter. She loves the SoR games too.
Just started the DLC for FE3H after a suitable break. Once I finish the side story I have 2 houses left, thinking Golden Deer next and save Blue Lions for another time.
The Touryst & Spider-Man for me!
@Tonyo yes and thought it was pretty good, not one of my favourites and for me the Double Dragon games were never as good as Streets of Rage games
Animal Crossing and Streets of Rage 4. I also restarted Metro 2033 Redux for Switch, mostly because it's been a few months since I last played it and I enjoyed what I did play but got caught up in some other game during the time and didn't return to it.
Gun Crazy, Bullet storm, Blazing Chrome, OutRun 2
I’ll be out of town all weekend but I’m gonna try and get in an hour of Animal Crossing and Streets of Rage 4. I would also like to make some more progress in NiOh 2, if I have the time. That sums up my gaming weekend.
@carlos82 i think double dragon advance is on par with SOR 1 but just below SOR 2 and better than SOR 3 and 4. Glad u enjoying SOR 4 i dont personally like it at all but to each there own
@Quarth I agree, surprisingly simple and effective.
Streets 4 looks fun, but Im just not super into brawlers...last one I dove into was Double Dragon Neon, but the funny script and the style was why. This looks a lot more straight faced
@gaga64 Im at the exact same place in FF7! I completely forgot about the random snowboarding bit. God the 90s was rad eh?
I'm playing so many games at the moment. I still play Animal Crossing daily. I've started Stardew Valley and BoTW again. I'm still playing through Dragon Quest 3. And now I've started playing Streets of Rage 4 and will probably be playing Overcooked 2 with my wife at some point.
Tomb Raider 2013
Switch:
Yooka Laylee and the Impossible Lair
DS:
Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow
Xbox One:
Streets of Rage 4
Rise of the Tomb Raider
Donkey konga
Galaxy 2
New Mario bros 2
@MischiefMaker This is why my response to "what are you playing?" is always Civ VI.
Bought a few games on spring sale this past weekend!
$25 seemed like a great way to dip my toes into the franchise before Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition releases. Plus, I really like Lora as a character way more than Rex, who always turned me off from XC2. This may sound contradictory since I love FFXII so much, but I'm not the biggest fan of Xenoblade's specific flavor of ATB auto-attacking. My immediate impression though is how beautiful the world is and the amazing soundtrack. I'm beginning to warm up to the combat after unlocking more special attacks, but I'm still on the fence about XCDE after playing it. There's something about the Phantasy Star Online science fantasy aesthetic that I find difficult to fully appreciate. I'm not really sure why. It's a little frustrating too because I really want to support Monolithsoft and keep holding out hope that they'll complete their new fantasy IP someday.
Mainly getting into Astral Chain! Finding it bewildering at the moment. I think it'll be my usual platinum games pattern of being hopeless for, say, the first 8 missions and then suddenly being semi-decent. My grades show I'm some way off that still.
Also hoping to finish off Death Squared with my wife, and maybe start Unravel 2 next..
@John_Deacon nice list whats ur fav ds castlevania? Mine is portrait of ruin
More XB1 stuff, the Switch droughts (both game and info) make me think perhaps finishing off DQXIS would be better saved for like late-July when there's absolutely nothing happening on the Switch front for the forseeable future.
@carlos82 nice reply pal... He's all for discrediting the developers of the streets of rage 4...
@Cyz Yeah, the story isn't anything special, but the gameplay is great!
I have finals next week so... time for animal crossing to relax! I might also squeeze in some Smash Bros or Mario Kart in between studying.
Streets of rage 4, Resident Evil 4 and Grid Autosport on Switch. Maybe a little 3D Streets of rage 2 on 3DS. And I'll probably continue to play some PSP games that I enjoyed recently like Burnout legends and Motorstorm Artic Edge
Always animal crossing for an hour a day at minimum. Other than that, smm2, and my favorite game of 2020 so far, trials of mana. I have streets of rage 4 ordered thru LRG or id be playing that as well 😑
I’ve started Hob on Switch but I’m finding I don’t care for it as much as I thought. Shame because I thought I had a good handle on it with the demo but I find that I don’t know what I’m supposed to be doing most of the time. I’m going to try to give it another play session before I give up on it.
Playing Moving Out on Gamepass.. I thought it would be the next game my wife and I play ( we just got all Overcooked 2 achievements) but she doesn’t care for it as much. I think it’s hilarious but it can definitely be challenging. I was worried because the demo was easy but it’s proving to be harder than that- especially considering the optional objectives .
Will also continue my adventure in Rise of the Tomb Raider- Game is so fantastic! I think I’m getting close to the end of it but I’m going to buy the season pass and keep that glorious wheel spinning.
Happy gaming everyone and stay safe!
Still playing Trials of Mana. Just bought Wild Guns, it's 50% off. Gonna play Wild Guns with my kids. Als playing Uncharted 2 again (first ps3, now ps4) and The Last Of Us Remastered.
Final Fantasy X. I've had a week off work and managed to plunge 35 hours into the game so far and I want to get as far as possible before I go back to work on Monday.
Streets of Rage 4. My goodness, what a beautiful looking game.
Other than that, I'll be playing Animal Crossing: New Horizons
Zelda on GB and NES (1), Mario Sunshine and 64.
Absolutely loving SOR 4 - in stage 11 on normal in single player and started a co-op with my wife separately, not using the assists. The beat em up action feels so good, I can see myself spending a lot of time with this playing through the more difficult modes.
Also trying to wrap up Monsterboy , 3rd playthrough in Child of Light, Trine 4 and Blazing Chrome (all picked up in some good sales recently and loving all of these as well)
Streets of rage, Animal Crossing, Under Night In Birth Exe Late [cl-r] and Steam World Heist
Just starting chapter 4 in XC2. I'll be playing that for weeks to come I think 😀
@Pat84 I’ve just started Resident Evil 4 on the Switch. Good game but the lack of gyro annoys me.
I’m taking a break from BOTW (after two weeks straight) so I went back to Assassins Creed Black Flag. It’s addictive as hell.
I was only supposed to kicking off Onimusha Warlords but have almost beaten it now-- Just couldn't seem to put it down. After I finish that, going back to Blaster Master Zero 2 before my skills erode AGAIN lol
@charlieonholiday . Yeah, what a disapointment for the lack of gyro controls in RE4 even if they implemented them in Resident Evil revelations 1 and 2 on Switch, they had no excuse for this. But still, the replay value of RE4 always do the trick for me, mainly because I am finally able to play it handheld.
This weekend I'm checking out Streets of Rage 4 and playing Lego Star Wars The Force Awakens in the lead up to May 4th.
Started a new game of Alpha Sapphire recently. Still my favorite generation. I haven't really played much of the last few Pokemon games, maybe i'll get into some of those soon..
ACNH - cause daily stuff at least. But mainly Diablo 3 with some Saints Row 3, Forager, and Graveyard Keeper peppered in to break the grind.
I’ll be honest, my “Gamer ADHD” is horrible lately, and not much is retaining my attention for long. Probably apathy too from finishing the greatness that is Witcher 3.
LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes (Vita) - Lex Luthor broke Joker out of Arkham and now the manhunt begins.
Fallout 3 (Games for Windows) - Still just competing random sidequests and enjoying the scenery.
3D Brick Breaker Revolution (Windows Phone) - Playing this one last time before the ultimate deletion!!
Streets of Rage 4 and Mario Maker 2 are keeping me busy!
Loving some of the Worlds people have created in MM2, it's like I'm playing an unlimited number of full Mario games!!
I am all over the map. I am still playing animal crossing. I am doing a few races a day in grid trying to finish the touring career. I am about 75 puzzles into picross s 1. And i just started one piece warriors 3.
Yes, Streets of Rage 4, but also War Tech Fighters.
Must not buy streets of rage 4....
Animal crossing and I’ve also been enjoying the Blasphemous demo so might pick that up whilst it’s on sale
@SterlingEyes
Blasphemous is an excellent Metroidvania.
I've been playing SoR 4 this afternoon. Absolutely love it. Plays like a dream and I love the hd rumble impacts. My thumb hurts.
Going to be going on a retro kick this weekend
Xbox One — Streets of Rage 4. Lovin this game and as so many others have said you can tell the devs are fans of the series. Finished it on both easy and normal but I have more to unlock.
PS4 — Horizon Chase Turbo. While my son was busy with the Xbox One I decided to see what game I had on my PS4. I completely forgot that this game was given out for free with PS+ and I have been enjoying it on my phone so I decided to check it out on the PS4. OMG this game is so good. Like Streets of Rage 4 you can tell the devs of this game are fans of the arcade racer genre. With so much stuff to unlock I will be busy with this game for awhile.
@SterlingEyes If you have a subscription to Gamepass on the Xbox One you can play SoR 4 without buying it.
@JasmineDragon Yeah I noticed! This is my 3rd playthrough so I'm still learning. Had a bad start I think though, spent most of the first 30 or so turns fending off barbarians and now find that I'm kinda hemmed in by Queen Victoria. Still enjoying it, mind. I feel like I've got hours and hours and hours left in this game before I even consider needing to get the expansions.
Streets of Rage 4, Trials of Mana, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night.
I'm in a Mega Drive mood, so I'm thinking about playing some Castlevania Bloodlines, Fire Shark, and/or Elemental Master. And there are a few others on my mind.
Mega Man X Legacy Collection 2
Namco Museum
Super Mario Odyssey
Splatoon 2 demo
I'll keep it short and sweet today:
3DS: Fire Emblem Fates: Birthright - Finished chapters 16 and 17 this morning. Definitely an interesting minor twist in the latter.
Switch: Final Fantasy Adventure (part of Collection of Mana) - I'll be rescuing Amanda's brother during my evening session.
As usual, there will be a little Pokemon Go this weekend.
Have a great weekend all! Stay safe!
I think I'll give SOR4 another try even though I rage-quit because of the cheap enemies. Cherry is pretty much the only character I can stand to play as because the others move too slow and can't dash which feels like a step back from SOR3. I don't mind playing as Cherry, but I wish I could have fun with the others. Can any of the retro characters beside Skate run?
@DrDaisy I believe the SOR3 versions of the characters can run(Axel definitely can). I expect I'd be using SOR3 Axel most of the time when I get around to playing it.
Started Tales of Vesperia this week. Going to try to focus on that until the PC release of Phantasy Star Online 2 at the end of the month.
Excited to have a busy weekend of Animal Crossing with the new month upon us I have a lot of new bugs and fish to go after!
In other games I just completed Teslagrad (switch) and Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order (PS4) this past week and am looking for my next (non-animal crossing) game to play out of my massive backlog. Will most likely start Timespinner or Owlboy as I am in the mood for a good Metroidvania.
Stay safe everyone!!
Streets of Rage 4, Animal Crossing NH, Asphalt 9
This poll feels very lazy
It’ll be ACNH for me while my kiddos are around, and then I picked up Arcade Archives Double Dragon for $3.99 and Flashback for 99 cents (!!) last night as the nostalgia is strong with those.
Also, playing Streets of Rage trilogy on the Sega Genesis collection while waiting for my SoR 4 cartridge to arrive someday.
@carlos82 From what I have played It's really great but games like Castle Crashers, Rivercity Girls and even Double Dragon Neon are up there as well.
Guard crush' original outing in the genre wasn't half bad either.
So many great sales really blew up my back log. I am actively playing 8 games right now. But, let's be honest, I'very already beat STREETS OF RAGE 4 twice and will probably jump back on after typing this!
Animal crossing, yakuza kiwami and marvel UA3.
Started up Jedi Outcast again after not playing it for a few months. The light saber combat is amazing, but the jolted camera makes me dizzy after a while.
Other than that, Rolling Thunder from Namco Museum, Frogger, Tetris 99 and some TG-16 mini.
Animal Crossing, Fortnite, Pokémon Sword, Uncharted 3 and World of Warcraft.
For the Alliance!
Animal Crossing and Street of Rage 4!
Animal Crossing, Streets of Rage 4, SNK Gal Fighters.
The release date reveal for Deadly Premonitions 2 finally got me to play the first game...
I’m about 4 hours in and oh boy. I don’t know what to think!
Surprised Trials of Mana Remake wasn't an option as it just released.
I'm playing Trials of Mana Remake, Samurai Showdown, Bloodstained, and Fire Emblem Warriors.
Just downloaded Blossom Tales, to mix in with ACNH & New Leaf.
@Ulysses. Hey I am back online and I accepted a friend request from a person named Max who has Ravali as the profile pic. Is that you? Also I just finished downloading Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate
Well I recently bought Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate this past week through the eshop as well as Friday The 13th which I bought on the 24th. I will be playing both for hours I'm sure
@khululy if others really enjoy those games then that's great but not for me, I had fun playing them just I wouldn't give back to them. I'm not keen on the River City art style and it encouraging grinding for money, Neon just had poor enemy AI. I still regularly play the SOR original trilogy and a few others from back then such as the Capcom beat em ups, Guardian Heroes, some of the SNK games and Nekketsu Oyaku but there isn't one I've played since that I've ever gone back to on a regular basis
RE4-Wii edition is better than the switch port and costs less money.
Splatoon 2 baby!
@Michaelrojelio84
That wasn't me. Actually I got busy and completely forgot to add your FC! Let me add you right now. My name will be Uly with the Kass profile pic.
While my son plays fortnite I will be playing ACNH and Mario maker 2. I find it hard to stop playing either with my free time. Also thinking of going back to Skyrim for a bit
I've already had some fun with Animal Crossing. Hopefully I'll be able to spend some more time on Humpalooza later, and maybe a little Streets of Rage 4 (which I treated myself to earlier).
@Ulysses. I accepted the request so looking forward to hunting with you🎮
@Michaelrojelio84
I still don't have any Guild Quest progress so you'll have to bear with me, but I'm also looking forward to hunting with you!
@Ulysses. I barely started last night and haven't done any guild quests so don't worry, we will learn stuff together
Played a bit of Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Picross S4, but I spent most of my allotted video game time playing Uncharted and Dirt Rally 2.0.
@Tonyo Mine is Portrait of Ruin, too. In comparison with Dawn, Portrait has many gameplay improvements (character changing is the best one for me) and I like the environment better.
I finished Dawn again yesterday and every time I replay it I get the sensation it should have been shorter, which never happens to me with Portrait
@John_Deacon agree completely. Order of ecclesia i like but its so damn hard ive never completed it, have you? Also whats ur thoughts on lords of shadow mirror of fate on 3ds and ps3? Underrated castlevania imo
@Tonyo Order of Ecclesia is really hard. It's so hard that it takes the fun away in some parts. Konami was ambitious with the possibilities they tried to offer in OEC but the difficulty is a huge letdown. Still, it's a great game.
About Lords of Shadow I can say that I just "saw" the game (played it for some time but never had it at home to dedicate time to it) but didn't have enough contact with it to give an honest opinion about it. It seemed to be a good game. Very different in most aspects, but good.
Now that you mentioned it, let me take a look at the Xbox Store to see how much it costs. Maybe I'll get it
Edit: I'll have to edit the post because I confused the game you mentioned with another Castlevania that was in full 3D. Lords of Shadow Mirror of Fate is 2D (or 2.5D, I don't know) and I don't know why I never picked it up to play. Well I'm buying it now. Thanks for the tip. We'll talk about it. I'll finish Portrait and Ecclesia (I think), then I'll play it. Thanks for the tip
