Update (Fri 3rd Apr, 2020 15:30 BST): Image & Form's SteamWorld giveaway turned out to be a resounding success, with the studio reporting "tens of thousands of requests" over the qualifying period.

Thanks to this, the team decided to double the number of free games being given away from 1,000 to 2,000, with all codes now having been sent out to the first 2,000 people who completed the form. If you entered the competition, make sure to check your emails - you might just have a code waiting for you.

If you weren't one of the lucky ones, remember that Image & Form has also temporarily discounted all SteamWorld games on the eShop.

Original Article (Mon 23rd Mar, 2020 16:10 GMT): Image & Form, the development studio behind the wonderful Steamworld universe, is giving away a whopping 1,000 copies of games from the series.

The first 1,000 people to register for a code at this link will be contacted as a winner, with North American copies of numerous games from the series available on your choice of Nintendo Switch or Steam. Image & Form says that, "in times that may be worrisome, we're doing the following to hopefully brighten your day". You can choose from the following:

If you don't get to the link in time, don't fret. Image & Form also plans to temporarily discount all SteamWorld games on most platforms by at least 50% "sometime soon".
