Star Wars Skins And Lightsabers Return To Fortnite For A Limited Time

May the 4th be with you.

If only they brought out a Darth Vader skin with a lightsaber harvesting tool. There is still hope they will release him tonight, but it’s unlikely. Oh well I guess I’m going to have to wear Star Lord with Batman’s cape, Harley Quinn’s hammer, and riding Deadpool’s scooter.

Can I download all of them, or am I just limited to having 4 skins?

Fortnite has really cool collabs to be honest, it's a shame I'm not a big fan of the game. Maybe the recent popularity of Animal Crossing can secure nintendo some big time collabs, I think there is some real cool potential there.

It would be cool if Star Wars Jedi came to Switch but the game barely ran on my Pro. It was a great game hampered by countless numbers of bugs, jank and assorted annoyances. At least there’s the Jedi Knight games on Switch, they’re class.

Didn't know they were bringing Lightsabers back. That's awesome! I got the other two emotes that I didn't have last night. Still missing any skins though. I don't have enough v-bucks. If I did, I'd pickup either that Kylo Ren skin or the Sith Trooper one.

Kinda wish there were more wild melee options in fortnite like these

@DaCh33f They have the Kingsman umbrella, which is pretty much a weaker lightsaber that you can glide for a few seconds, I wouldn’t recommend using it, because it’s not very good damage wise, but at least it’s there is a melee in the game that isn’t a collab.

I played for hours last night with a buddy and saw the skins but no lightsabers. They must just be for the 4th.

Couldn't we get the Star Wars character we care about?

@WickedUnicarnBoi It's a pain to find one outside of the one you unlock in operations though, I think I've maybe seen one ever in the core game modes

I'm glad they brought these back! I was able to pick up Kylo Ren, and the lightsabers are a cool addition.

@RickD The irony is that the original franchise from Lucas is,and will always remain (Brilliant and loved),separate from the complete wreck that Disney had reduced this franchise to. They destroyed this franchise and are now clasping at straws and it's their own doing

@RickD Unfortunately for them the original Star Wars trilogy is the only good thing from the series.

@WickedUnicarnBoi Kingsman wouldn't be so bad if it didn't have a god awful delay between hits. Lightstabers are swift, consecutive, hits that flow smoothly one after another, giving opponents no time to relate. But theres like a horrific 2 second delay on the last hit, leaving you open to a barrage of attacks.

@RickD I mean its fair considering in the original deal Gorge wanted them to go along with his original script (Back in the day he had scripts written for 9 films, only being able to make the first 6) but Disney tossed out his scripts in favor of doing their own thing.

Surely they could have had a yellow saber as one of them given the recent movie.

This is not serious, why limited?. Imagine if folks at skinclub would say that, what anger it would be? I want to buy skins for a long period of time.
