I never got into the whole final fantasy thing. but with the new FFVII remake (not tried the demo yet) coming out,is it worth getting the original FFVII in this sale? i know its a very loved and revered game but is it worth jumping in now? what I mean is, has it aged well?

This looks interesting. Is Ni No Kuni worth getting? was it patched? I'm aware there were issues at launch

I never did manage to finish the first game. only got as far as a few levels down. I should try get back to it at some point and put this one on the watch list until a sale maybe

@Grumblevolcano I recently started DOOM 2016 again on ps4 and the lack of gyro aiming is so jarring now. The Switch version plays better by far. I don't understand why its not an option as standard on any platform,if the controllers can support it

@patbacknitro18 That PT (Silent Hills) demo was probably the most scary, creepy thing I've ever played. It dripped with atmosphere and I almost didn't finish it. shame I had to delete it off my base ps4 when I traded it in for a pro

Yeah great. How about some game announcements for a change Nintendo?

Capcom putting in the bare minimum effort with regards to their Switch offerings. How about a new Monster Hunter? Or get Saber Interactive or Panic Button on a MHW port if necessary. Charging premium prices on old games is just as bad as EA putting out the same FIFA game over and over and asking full price for it.They continue to feed the Switch on scraps

still getting through The Witcher 3. I'm currently at level 33 and I think I'm getting near the end of the main quest. Question to anyone that's finished it,is it worth starting the DLC quests, as I'm at the right level,or finish the main quest line first?

The point was, most people don't care what others do with their lives. Live your life and be happy however you please. But don't demand that everyone just shut up if they question or don't agree with those choices. Its their opinion and choice to not agree,that was the point

The only people being threatened with legal action are those people that are labelled 'transphobic,homophobic etc for having an opinion that goes against the current cult narrative. do those people deserve to be put in jail for not wanting to be forced to believe something they don't? Finishing up Luigi's Mansion 3 then will get back to the Witcher 3 after a month or so break. Probably forgotten where I am at this point though 😆

I've pre ordered DOOM Eternal (physical) on Switch. I'm assuming this still free as part of that pre-order?

@sandman89 no need to be on the fence,its one if the best games out in last couple years. I've personally played over 200hrs on Switch. once it gets its hooks into you it's addictive. It is a challenge though but so good

May give it a go as it's free. Any FPS is going to be hard to top DOOM 2016 for me,at least until we see how good DOOM Eternal is

got Blasphemous after playing the demo. while it's on sale best time to get it. not sure when I'll playing yet though. Going through BOTW again 😬

first time I've backed a Kickstarter but wanted the physical release. I'm looking forward to playing it again and if there are improvements then thats all the better. And it's only a couple months away too

I'm glad to say I haven't bought an EA title since ME3 on the ps3. I don't care what they release they don't get my money.

@Blizzia I agree the WiiU had issues. I do believe though that Nintendo took a risk that didn't quite come off. It was a necessary step though to get to the console we now have. Off tv play was a huge feature that was praised by all that actually used it. And let's not forget it actually had a decent number of games. Nintendo really are the only ones that ever take a risk to do things differently when it comes to their hardware, sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't but each of their consoles are unique which is why they're always important for the industry IMO

pledged my support for a Switch physical copy today. Still got my WiiU copy and im sure used copy prices may start to go up for it too now. Its a decent, unique game. it had a few flaws but I'm sure they'll address those as best they can.I'm not sure it'll do too well on ps4 personally and obviously the Switch will see more sales I imagine. is it right its releasing this April too?

it's going to bomb on ps4 so why bother? a Kickstarter for switch alone would get enough backing

@Moistnado yes definitely overpriced. The sale price for the resident evil games are still too much even if they were that price normally. Half that price on other platforms, but the Switch tax still applies to digital downloads?Capcom can do one. They've put nothing new on the Switch thats even worth mentioning. Other platforms are where it's at for them now. They couldn't careless about the Switch

@Protocol_Penguin How can you say its the brexit effect when GAME have been charging far more than other retailers for many years? the last time i bought anything from them was 2014 getting a ps4 on a black friday deal. They've always overpriced their stuff because they've had no other real high street competition until recently,but they've not adapted. Plus the fact (in my experience in the stores local to me) they've always had an elitist attitude and disregard of pretty much everything Nintendo. Shame people may lose their jobs over this and having less retail shops isn't a good thing either.

why at this point can we not do something simple as use an in game screenshot for a theme? Nintendo seem to want to actively give people less or no options at all. more importantly,for me anyway,would be a vastly overhauled eshop set up instead over the home screen changes

I'm considering starting another playthrough of BOTW. But with the fact I'm still to finish TW3 and in the last month I've bought LM3,Ori and Ashen, I've got a big backlog to get through too 😬
