Is this list going to update because its just consoles and bundles
These deals are really poor, like .99p off the Fornite Bundle for example. You can easily save more money by simply not buying these from Amazon.
Wish there was another handheld on the market to compete with Switch to drive competitive pricing like we see with xbox/ps5.
Maybe series s + game pass undercutting it will help.
@EngineerMario what are you talking about? It's RRP is £279.99, if you're paying £677 or £308 you're massively overpaying.
Grab myself a bargain?
....where?
Switch sales make me laugh - you can buy the Xbox series S and witcher 3 GOTY cheaper than a switch Lite and witcher 3 "in the sale"
Just a heads up. NL is pretty good at following the UK black friday deals. But if you are in the US, last year NintendoLife’s coverage of the US black friday deals was abysmal. They basically just stuck to the officially announced deals from Nintendo themselves, and didnt bother covering much else. So far this year looks like its heading in the same direction. I would look elsewhere if you want to get updated details on what deals major retailers are offering.
Wow how incredibly lame
I’m really disappointed in NL with this. Amazon pays a disgustingly low amount of tax to the British government for incredible amount of business it does here.
Especially considering the economy and UK retail is taking such a battering due to COVID - as a UK based site I’d expect better.
I think you should re-consider this partnership honestly.
Plus, other sites are offering better deals - these are just off-load bundles with little or no savings - just shop around.
Well this is a bad start😱
Hope it gets better😃
@Tim_Vreeland What strange behaviour from a UK-based site...
@ChaosBadger777 it's not portable either.
@EngineerMario
Thats the Trick, put the Price up just here and there and than you can say: It is 70% cheaper!
Mostly they are tricking People with those Offers or just want to get rid of the old Models.
@Dirty0814 but it is a brand new next gen console that is cheaper than a handheld thats over a year old. Gotta love that Nintentax
I'm personally waiting for the eShop deals that will be coming Cyber Monday through the first of the year.
@COVIDberry it is considering they are usually all over other US focused Nintendo News. In fact it seems like they cover more US Nintendo news than they do for their home country. Doug Bowser and Reggie are constant headlines here. They just dont put effort into the Black Friday coverage. Its disappointing to the end that they might as well just not put up a US deal section.
@TJM just imagine if you were in the US - we use our taxes to PAY AMAZON to move in then don’t tax them even though they’re owned by the richest living human
Most people on here more than likely own a switch anyway and if you want a game you’ll get it regardless weather it’s discounted.
I’ve gone all digital with my switch so much of the discounts I’ll miss but I save money on only buying games I know I’ll get my money’s worth out of
If this is just console bundles and games everyone already has, I’m not interested
I'm waiting for some good digital deals. Dreaming is never a bad thing. Let's wait and see...
I'll prob hold off on any deals considering AoC is so close and I have to wait on that. Maybe ill grab some eshop deals though
These are sorry deals
Apparently Aldi UK will be doing a switch for £230... https://www.mirror.co.uk/money/shopping-deals/aldi-announce-black-friday-deals-22995070
During BF is when I get the little stuff for cheaper. Sd cards, headphones, new controllers... This year is going to be hard to do that....
Wow, Asda have hacked £40 off the price of a Switch?
Ca't get or find the list for the SD cards?
Aldi are selling Switch for £229.00 for Black Friday.
Someone translate it frm US money to canadian money plz. I'm too lazy to do it myself.....
Umm... That's it? Really?
I’ve got one more cart from best buy to order. Kinda glad these deals went live earlier in the month.
@Mgene15 check them now
That Mario & Sonic at the Tokyo Olympics price, too bad I just bought it a couple weeks ago from an amazon seller at a not-as-good deal.
I just bought Digimon Story Complete for 32€ and Metro 2033 + Last Light Redux for 25€ off Amazon Italy.
4 games for less than 60€, not bad 👍🏻
@TJM Are you suggesting that Amazon may be breaking UK tax laws and the relevant authorities are doing nothing about it?
Very surprising. In other countries the tax authorities are relentless.
what a joke. whats more insulting is that they know people are stupid enough to believe their 'sales' are good deals. I bought the sWitcher 3 for less than that on release day. Nintendo's own sales on their UK store are just as ridiculous. There are no deals anywhere worth caring about as far as I can tell. But then why would they need to try to be competitive this year? no one can go to shops,so online can bump the prices beforehand anyway they like
God these "deals" are ridiculous . Nintendo keep pushing and pushing me towards PC, Xbox and PS more and more each year.
Civvy 6 is a solid buy
Purely a click bait article to get Nintendolife extra revenue. Monster hunter for example is currently £14.39 on the eshop and virtually all the games on the Nintendo store can be picked up cheaper on eBay, Argos etc. Articles a joke
Best Buy has 400 GB microSD cards on sale for only $59.99 down from $179.99!!
The only Black Friday sales worth waiting for are the digital sales on the eshop.
Also if you are in the UK, i've heard that Aldi of all places are selling Switch's at 60 odd quid off.
The good old habit of fooling people by raising prices and discounting them right away, just to say they are discounted...
...Not to mention the other habit of keeping always the same prices unchanged for years after the release of the items.
Deals for those of us in the UK are rubbish!
I picked up a 1TB extreme card for my Animal Crossing Switch that I still haven't opened. Should be perfect.
the nintendo e-shop with sales on Indie titles is where the REAL DEALS are! Panzer Paladin for $15.99? Hades for $19.99"? Katana zero for $8.99? yes, yes and YES!
@JayJ Just think of all the furniture and fruit you can store with 1TB storage!
@Neckcrane yep, the eshop sales are looking good right now.
@dugan Lol true. Honestly by now I have bought/downloaded enough games to where I could probably fill a 1TB card if I installed it all. My current Switch's (a launch edition and yellow lite) have a 400GB and 512GB card and the 400 is a constant compromise situation and I have been struggling to get everything I want on the 512.
Pretty stoked I got Fire Emblem Three Houses (physical) for $50.00 CAD instead of $80.00!
Really poor show from Nintendo, cashing in on the event without actually offering any deals.
@arekdougy waiting for the sales to hit Europe for this exact reason. Have fun with it!
The Switch Lite consoles as are showing as unavailable at ASDA. Otherwise I'd be very tempted to buy one at that price.
I got Minecraft Dungeons at my local target for $15 when looking thought deals it was supposed to be 20. Any deals to recommend ?
Still no Black Friday games sale on EU e-shop .
@blecch they aren't breaking the law as such they are using their power/money/lawyers to find loopholes in the law that allow them to lower their tax bill such as being registered for tax in another country.
It is the difference between tax evasion and avoidance.
I feel like the Black Friday deals are never very good for Nintendo products... oh well.
And crowd, if you don’t do this yet, I strongly recommend checking out dekudeals.com. They track sales across all vendors (at least in the US) and you get to see how good the discount is by comparing with previous sales. Unless it’s launch title I really want, I’m almost always able to get my games at their historic lows. I’m not sponsored by them in any way. I just use their site a lot.
Starlink is £10 most places 🙄🥴🤦♂️
They should list the deals at Argos on here
@blecch @Medic_Alert
Amazon not paying tax is a big problem - one of many they are causing all over the planet. Lots more info about the issues in this article:
https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2020/nov/27/black-friday-global-coalition-amazon-jeff-bezos-workers-planet
But looking at the bigger picture: UK overseas territory occupies the top 3 (and has 4 in the top 10) of the worst offending countries for tax havens according to the Tax Justice Network.

Plus, they have rubbish Nintendo deals, so screw them!
Is it weird that I’m almost as excited for my Samsung Evo Select 512gb SD card to arrive than I usually am for a new game?
@aSmilingMan Thanks for the tip.
SanDisk 1TB Extreme microSDXC UHS-I With Deal: $189.99.
Now if my funds can only fit this.
The best deals are not at Nintendo or amazon! Nintendo life!
1TB micro SD card pweease
For people in switzerland, "swisscom" is selling 512GB samsung evo sdxc for 59chf. Got one, works with the switch.
This is spectacularly pathetic.
The bestbuy exclusive 400GB blue shell official nintendo sd card was the best deal this black Friday week. Usually over $100, dropped to $60.
Civilization VI at 9,99 looks like a great deal, but is the game still buggy?
There's a £5 quidco boost on top of normal cashback today too for Nintendo's online shop if you spend over £35.
Shovel Knight Treasure trove is £19.99 at GAME brand new.
@Dazza, next year, it might be wise for NL to include Walmart in the US deals; they have first-party Switch titles such as Luigi's Mansion 3 for $30, which is much better than Amazon and Best Buy. I know you can't include every retailer, but Walmart is the largest brick-and-mortar/online hybrid retailer in the US. Keep up the great work!
Finally picked up the remastered Spyro trilogy. Solid Cyber Monday acquisition.
