I deleted this after a week of playing it, but this seems like a hearty patch. May redownload it for another go. I have plenty of space.
I'd buy right now it it had cross save with PC. 😒
@CTmatic then why did ya delete it if you have plenty of space?
Simply cause I play a lot of games and this one never stuck with me after a while. I experienced some crashes and got a little bored after a while. @Jester151
Glad to see this. I've reached the final level and I'm currently stuck on it because a certain event involving a boss isn't triggering. Apparently it's a glitch that has occured on other consoles as well, think the workaround has been to restart the level. Currently replaying it on Hard difficulty, just a very good FPS.
I wish it was crisper looking, like sharper, there's a haze to it that makes it hard for me to look at. Witcher had the same problem before a patch that let you adjust the visuals, I'd love this to get the same treatment.
What did people expect on this hardware, 4K 60 fps?
Pretty funny how people were mocking the Switch version for not being a full remaster or w/e, but the Switch version is way better than the PS4 and XB1 versions. 😂
We know Saber will keep working on technical updates like this, that's so cool. I'll still wait for a little while though (just finished another FPS and might play something else in between)
@SpaceboyScreams lot of games have that on switch unfortunately. Switch isn’t powerful enough, although there are a lot of 360 era games that look much sharper.
@SpaceboyScreams I usually avoid the blurry 'miracle ports' because although they're a technical feat, blurry is still blurry. I did cave for this though, but only because I got an mClassic HDMI dongle, and I wanted to see what it could do.
Needless to say, it totally makes Crysis on the Switch much easier to look at. Although, that's only if you play docked. I do, 95% of the time, so the mClassic is pretty much a must have for me. The extra AA and bolder colours are totally worth it.
Always nice to see a game getting this kind of support.
@AJB83 does it make it a big difference to all switch games? how much is the mclassic and is it worth buying?
@PlayedNSlayed mClassic owner here! The mClassic is in my opinion is a huge game changer for retro consoles. An mClassic hooked up with an N64+Super64, GameCube+Carby/EonGCHD or Wii games either played through a WiiU set to 480p or with an Wii2HD is unbelievable IMHO. Super Mario Galaxy for example looks like the HD version but with anti-aliasing galore. The improvements for WiiU / switch games varies. You need to set them to 720p output. Obvs don’t do this if the game renders at a higher res but not many do. Generally these HD games are more vibrate and smoother but the improvements are nothing compared to subHD games. I wouldn’t buy it just for just WiiU/Switch games unless you game on a massive TV and the lack of anti-aliasing is too much for your eyes. However it has completely revitalised my retro game collection. I’m now replaying through most of my collection in awe of how good they now look.
I downloaded the game again yesterday. While there are some improvements, the game keeps crashing every time I die. Hope they'll fix that soon as well.
@beazlen1 I do have some retro consoles and games so it may be something I'd get use out of. Depending on the cost it might be worth getting one
I've played through this game twice - first on PC way back when it was released and then again now.
This game looks and plays absolutely fine on the switch. To be honest, I think this is the best looking FPS on the switch and there is absolutely no reason not to buy it if you want it.
Sounds like they've enjoyed the challenge of putting the game on Switch.
I'm experiencing a game breaking bug on the crusher yard and I'm so angry! A helicopter boss fight won't trigger and yes this is even with the latest patch. If these stupid companies can't be bothered to make games properly then there needs to be a refund function in place because this is robbery of £26.
I've tried everything from reloading, reinstalling, and still the same problem. Welcome to gaming in 2020!
If anybody has a solution, I'd be greatful
@PlayedNSlayed It does make a big difference. As long as you set the Switch to 720p for native 720p res games, then you're all good. Crysis can run up to 900p docked, but because it's mostly under that, I find that running it at 720p with the mClassic produces the best results.
I find it a massive boon for almost all 3D games on the Switch. Even 1080p games benefit hugely on a 1080p panel, because they're usually missing anti-aliasing that the mClassic can clean up, no problem. Monster Hunter Generations looks amazing, and beyond crisp.
I have yet to try it's 1440p upscaling output options, but I'd imagine that looks pretty nice on a 4K panel.
I think it was about AU $130.00, I'm not sure. Worth absolutely every dollar, I would say. It feels like it is made for the Nintendo Switch
This game is great. I want to okay it again. I beat it pretty quickly the first time.
Hopefully there won’t be too much of a wait time for the future remastered releases of Crysis 2 & 3 ( assuming there will be ). Perhaps next year.
Haven't gotten around to downloading this yet but I am tempted
