Remember that if this and Cyberpunk can run fine on cartridge, any game in the future that doesn’t outstrip and ends up using the game key method is just lazy.

Can I just say while I respect Square for not raising the price, the fact that optimization practices are so dire in the industry that a 3DS game can’t run on Switch 1 and can’t even fit on a 10th gen cartridge is completely unacceptable.

If is a game like 1-2-Switch it could be worth it but their presenting it as a digital instruction booklet which is odd.

People are really underselling just how incredible this is.

1. More control over what should be considered ownership.

2. Only need one copy per single player game per household.

3. The 2 weeks thing is both for Nintendo to not lose out on duplicate sales completely but also because recents bad actors from stealing. Like imagine going to a gaming convention and the dev can now personally give you a two week trial of their game. They don’t need to worry about making a proper demo which would cost time and money and you can decide if you want to pay for it. A lot of shorter games can easily be beaten in this time frame as well.

As long as the 2 week loan doesn’t do something stupid and delete your save this is revolutionary and I fully expect MS and Sony to copy in some way.

I agree with most people that Nintendo will probably announce one more remaster for Switch 1 and that will be mostly it.

Honestly my guess is either Wind Waker or Oracle. Maybe if we get lucky something from Fire Emblem, I’d replay Awakening in HD for sure.

As for 3rd party, this feels like the last chance for XDive Offline, anything Mega Man will be greatly appreciated. Star Force collection isn’t likely but I’d buy that day one.

This seems like as good a place as any, but I do hope Switch 2 allows for early access titles with appropriate labeling. Imagine how many people bought this game thinking it was a full release.

Ah yes Nintendo’s relationship with the doom franchise, the last of which was majorly delayed for only Nintendo.

So basically what everyone has been saying for weeks.

It was never going to be $350 and Nintendo would be inane to charge as much as these so called luxury consoles.

Pokemon Sword is the game I have the most time in but I haven’t touched it since SV came out. Unite is ten game with the most staying power for me.

Most likely the game will contain 3 on the cartridge and 4 will be downloaded.

Hopefully after the servers go offline, the leet haxors can make an easy way to add the files to your memory card using your computer or something.

This is what I’ve been waiting for. From my research the game has been unplayable unless you more willing to basically run your civ blind.

Yes because it promised to have a more faithful translation to the original GC game but instead changed a bunch of stuff.

Unlike the thousand year door remake, this one was handled with respect and the story is untouched.

Normally I’d say it feels like yesterday but life has changed so much it feels like an eternity ago. I’ve used mine at least weekly since launch day.

The Pokemon VGC has a massive cheating problem, Champions both has the opportunity to fix this as well as help Gamefresk separate he’ll the need to please both casual and hardcore fans with each game.
