Yeah I saw this and tried to recreate it because I thought because it passed the muster it was allowed. I only managed to get one ladder on one run and it didn’t save me any time because I suck.

The problem is that Braid does not hold up.

The puzzle design is really smart, but being able to skip most of them really cheapens the whole experience. This would be ok for completionists or the hardcore, but the game punishes you for doing this.

FE3H is the worst game in the franchise, FEE is the 2nd best. IMHO.

Bad translations are all the rage nowadays (and I mean that literally) people dont want a new or "updated" story for a remake, they want the original.

What is type A and B, do they mean male and female? Why is the story no lomger about Erdrick?

These pirates stole over 60 million dollars with just TotK. That’s just one game. Imagine how much when you factor in things like Mario and Pokemon.

Exactly. Though SK is one of the few good ones. Most games “inspired” by shovel knight are ugly as sin and worse than actual retro games.

If still say no, not because I’m a hater or anything. Shovel Knight was and still is a leader in the indie revolution. A movement focused on doing things that are “new”

It assumes that the headline isn’t a math problem.

The game is an homage to actual “retro” games, so IMO paying respects by modernizing something retro isn’t retro.

There’s a rule in journalism that all headlines posed as questions can be answered with a resound “No!” and that holds up here.

Mario & Luigi looks great, Mega Man technically showed up, and enough he RPGs to get me through the rest of the lifecycle makes this an easy 9.

Zelda game looks pretty bad, and at this point MP4 will probably be a launch title so it almost feels wasted to show it here.

Kind of surreal that this could very well be the last dedicated Switch direct. Sure we COULD get one last one in September as we often do, but that falls into the window of the successor reveal which would spoil the fun for most people even though it’s not releasing this year.
