More open world slop? Plus that bike looked rough. I’m good. I haven’t even played past Prime 1. Was hoping that would see releases for the other 2. This is a YouTube video play through for me.
I got through this slog already. Perhaps if they patch it more it’d be worth a replay but as it is there’s more issues than just the unbalanced difficulty. There’s just far too many areas and most of the areas are pretty pointless. You can definitely tell an 8 year long dev cycle with only 3 people play testing the whole time the game comes out misguided and rough. This game was undeniably boring.
Having the contrast of hollow knight 1 directly behind me as I finished it the day before this came out. This game is not finished. There’s a plethora of issues that need to be worked out before this can be enjoyable. Traversal problems, combat problems and poor balancing on top of upgrades that are just pretty pointless. More like sidegrades honestly. Changing your fighting style is going to appeal to some but not all. Every new one I get I scramble to a bench to change it. Though I’m still not used to the new crappy diagonal aerial attack I’d rather have that than the other junky fighting styles they offer. One is very close to the normal pogo but the up attack on it is so bad I can’t use it.
This is Furukawa, please stop enjoying your purchase and/or having fun. We hope a lie about a non existent security threat will sway you from playing a video game on an isolated game console. Please purchase as much as possible on Nintendo switch and ask no questions. We appreciate your continued support.
Always a pleasure seeing a falling titan in real time. Really hoping Assassins creed shadows doesn’t pull them out of the rut. I’d like to see their IPs sold to companies who would use them especially splinter cell.
This game was great. I really enjoyed everything about it. Difficulty was just right sometimes pretty tough and sometimes I felt like putting that badge on that made the game harder. The humor was amazing and I loved the cast of playable characters. I definitely see myself replaying it when my backlog is clearer than it is now.
I’m a fan of this device still. It definitely has an impact on anti aliasing and it looks a bit improved. I wish this type of idea would be more fleshed out to maybe add extra frames to games or really trying to vastly improve the image in a customizable way.
Torishima describes it perfectly. No one else should have to conform to others’ social ideologies especially when it comes to creating art. Doing such adds nothing but barriers and roadblocks. There’s already enough games news articles and such attempting to force a new agenda and abolish valid points of view because of offenses to the writer/creators idealism. Pushback is good being done with it is better. It truly is an evil disguised as good to put it politely as he did.
I’m totally shocked. Never saw this coming. Who would’ve guessed a game series with no story would make a bad movie? We look forward to the next video game movie bomb: The Zelda movie.
@LikelySatan I finished the entire time quite a while ago probably still less than 2 years ago and didn’t have that many problems outside of the tower of twin dragons. Everything ran fine everywhere else.
This thing is the best. Me and my brother name ourselfs something atrocious in super smash brothers ultimate so a horrible name shows up above the assist trophy for this guy. Him bumping up and down with a huge smile on his face while his name above him is something unholy is truly a treasure.
@Maubari I didn’t say it was anti consumer now did I? You took the time to write out a reply but not the time to read it. Anything to initiate a confrontation. Please relax.
@Ryu_Niiyama they usually pull the most iconic lines for the characters so I imagine it’s the original voice actress for mulan from her first movie. They usually don’t record any lines for their characters they just use clips that work. Very few characters in this game actually reference stuff specific to the game such as Merlin.
Any special edition console based on a particular game should have said game pre installed or have the cartridge in box on the shelves. If the 3ds used to do it there’s no excuse. God forbid one pro consumer thing from current Nintendo.
Not sure the crime will really get to this store because who would want resold stolen Nintendo junk? But I don’t see this store succeeding. Politics aside, SF is the toilet of California now. It’s quite the shame I live 80 miles from there and I would totally visit the store if it weren’t in the worst city in this state.
The more interviews i see the less confident I am in this impending dumpster fire. Hate watching will give it the success it’s looking for though and spawn a sequel
@Samalik thank you for the feedback and volunteered information, but im just speaking on the presentation of this game and the subject matter not the intricacies of all of that extra stuff.
@Drake the clip doesn’t help. Makes it worse in fact. It’s the exact uncanniness that make the platform that thing represents the debacle that it is. Just a poorly mocapped avatar with an odd voice trying to be quirky in an artificial way. It’s a product, hence why I used Barney the dinosaur as an example. The degree of peculiarity is congruent.
@Drake a contrasting opinion would seem that way to someone inside a fandom. That’s the way the world is currently. I gave my reasons. I find these poorly animated avatars akin to the live action fuzz suits like Barney with a different coat of paint. It’s the same level of uncanny that is more uncomfortable than enjoyable which I’m sure why a horror game is being made about this. It’s inherently creepy.
This is a trend that needs to die out. Absolutely bizarre that people want to sign up to watch someone’s scary looking animated homunculus for hours and financially support it.
Breath of the wild is the better game for sure. The stuff that was added into Totk was a mismatch. The world was designed with botw abilities in mind which alone is a huge hit to the quality of the sequel. A great example is coming across those patches of boulders and slowly and stupidly smashing my way through them with a rock attached to a conveniently placed rusty weapon in the walls every time. The areas added in totk are empty or pointless. Ur better off looking up where the armor set you want is underground than exploring it all. The only thing I like is the ganon fight.
Yes yes we know. He wants to make it as marketable as possible not as good as possible. Giving the public merchandise to buy off shelves is more important than a good film. Just look at Star Wars.
Ultrahand was more polarizing than widely accepted. I for one couldn’t stand it when I was 2 feet above an object and was not allowed to grab it. It came up so many times in my play through of the game because of how I liked to solve the puzzles or make things. It was a good concept but executed poorly. I’m sure someone will see that ability and make it better.
Emulation will always live. It has never died out since the 90s and will continue to be the most impossible hydra to defeat. Totally here for it as well. Love all the strides the community makes in developing their softwares and I’ll continue to support it.
@Rambler none of these affect anyone. You got the three worst “game” companies as hyperlinks to their own failure. Their predatory practices come back to haunt them. That’s a win. I own none of these three companies games or consoles.
Is it a new chapter in smt5 or is it base 5 plus new stuff? Is the new stuff mixed into the base game if it is that way or is it all after the base game?
Oh. Are we playing the Digital Homicide game again? It’s getting old seeing history repeat itself. Hardly anyone left on this planet that is capable of learning from the past. It’s always a new scandal with this industry and it’s tiring.
The more and more I see of these beloved dev studios close the more I see that games have completely and fully tainted by corporate greed and negligence. The next video game crash is soon I’m sure. And since Nintendo is taking part in the greed of the industry they won’t come out of the ashes to save it like they did back in the 80s. They too are part of the downfall.
I don’t subscribe to stuff. It’s against my morals. It usually means you are okay with sub par movies or shows being fed to you because you want to try and get your value out of the service. I already pay a subscription for my mobile phone service I’m good. It’s not like anyone I know that has these services say anything on them is a must see. Most of them don’t care to have Netflix or what not yet they say they won’t cancel it because it’s got an ingrained place in their life. I see that as a carcinogen. I’ll sail the seas for the once every 5 years show or movie these services get that stay stuck or if they manage to be freed onto another service I can buy and own I’ll take it that way. I’m sick of the age of not owning stuff. It’s my way of fighting back.
