@VIIIAxel I guess u could just grab it on yuzu eventually. Giving Rockstar support should let them know you’d want it in the future. Besides the modern infrastructure of current game consoles is pretty solid. You’ll definitely still have these servers up for a while. Lots of people don’t know that if u move the contents of a switch SD card onto a computer or portable drive u can move it to any micro and card and play everything normally. Just make sure u plug that microsd into the switch first then move the data onto it. Downside is it has to be the same switch or the data says it’s corrupted. So keep ur console alive! Not a good solution but it’s something…

Ah yes a non hardware manufacturer who also has no software on the system he is speaking for definitely knows what he’s talking about. Meanwhile I present exhibit a! Outer worlds! Should the switch stop accepting ports due to low power? No. Should they upgrade the system with a more efficient per clock soc and keep the same power envelope? Yes!

I just tried the demo for this and I feel like it doesn’t stick to its core design of utilizing multiple characters. Trying to fight the demo boss had me realize I could only use one character because managing more than one during that would be a nightmare to control

I think it’s a bad name. He will always be McCree nothing else. I bet no one will call him by this new name nearly ever. Only new players.

I think 4 is short. But I like a short game. I did Edith Finch in about 4 hours and had a really good time. That game has some style.

@BiscuitCrumbsInMyBed yup its a common thing in amoled screens to have a hazy grain. It happens on lower quality amoled screens.

@nessisonett not from my personal experience. The switch OLED has a screen grain thing going on that makes it a rough experience to people who cant ignore it.

@YoshiTails me too. I think the switch knows what it is and what is possible in the current state of technology. The only way it could get better is ending the silicon shortage and allowing Nintendo to create a bigger better SoC.

Well I think that’s a great move. I’m interested to see what the discount is for existing members. Overall it’s just not favorable because if you feel the price is too high but you want the animal crossing dlc then you have to double dip and pay even more. I think they should’ve added n64 and sega to the lineup then announce a yearly dlc subscription. Get all game dlcs for 30 a year across all first party Nintendo games. Put a little icon on the box with the expansion pack symbol on it. I’d be way more hyped about that.

i hope theyre a little more improved than gta5 though. I played gta5 for a little while when it was on gamepass and the controls were floaty in movement and felt weighty all around. Its odd and makes my inputs feel overall delayed.

Awesome dlc. Hopefully one of the next free non major updates will allow us to have Nookway and Nookingtons. That store needs to upgrade desperately.

Man these fmv games are awful. I kinda like them due to the extreme levels of cheese and having zero right to be interactive. Super Seducer will always be the best.

I don’t believe it. There’s plenty of games with cross save and prove they can do it. Witcher 3 integrates with steam and gog so I don’t wanna hear they can’t figure it out. That’s total lies.

Well I’ve watched a guy beat skyward sword with his mouth and let me tell you. Absolutely impressive. Whatever Nintendo isn’t willing to do a wonderful controller called the quad stick will do. Shout out to illenialwheeler! He’s incredible! Accessibility is important and the switch is a great place to make things more accessible. Especially if Nintendo could do it only the way Nintendo could. Big N is good at giving us things we didn’t know we wanted. So why not some crazy cool contraption that allows for accessibility and is intriguing to normally abled folk?

That opening statement is wild. I’m on no sleep and reread it like 10 times and I only get this feeling of existential dread without even understanding what is written.

I don't believe this for a second. They haven't changed whatsoever. The joycons are hard to use to the point where i put an entire encompassing grip on my switch for the handles. Every pair of these I've bought has connectivity issues with the right joycon specifically. Every single set and i own 4.

Well, you still have the chance Nintendo will give you the island back. They have some kind of auto-backup within the game in case people make this mistake.

@VoodooTrumpet id love to know. The demos they offer are extremely restricted and anyone who has limited data caps will never purchase one. I have a 1.2tb data cap and im never buying one of these.

Trying to garner favor by saying aria is the only good one in the collection is weird. I don’t quite see how the other 3 games can be rolled under the bus with a 9 score. Did you only review aria and just thought the others were there for god value? What is this score? This entire review is about as useful as reading the back of the game box.

@johnvboy i suppose so but i still firmly believe Nintendo will be pushed against soon. Really not sure why they didnt give it a boost in power with the OLED switch. i dont think anyone asked for extra oomph on the 3ds but they hugely improved performance on the new 3ds

@johnvboy i think its gonna start to seep into those users sooner than you think. There are some noticeably poor performing games that people will buy on there. theyre gonna wish that the games they want to play performed as well as games theyve played in the past. Thoughts like why doesnt this look and run as good as mario odyssey. not a power comparison to other consoles. Its how the games are perceived on the same system.

they’re gonna let the switch die aren’t they? the longer they wait to boost the performance of the thing the harder its phasing out will be. if it were 2 years ago the switch would’ve laid to rest very peacefully while a new more powerful one came out and replaced them all. now at 5 total years of the same damn switch this thing is going to die really brutally. if Nintendo doesn’t want to make new hardware why can’t they just make amazing accessories for the damn iPad and put their games on there. the new little iPad mini is the same size as the switch but I would place it somewhere in the double digit multiples of being more powerful than the switch. srsly Nintendo just develop for someone else or make something new already.

i like the black theme but it does use more battery. Its just easier on my eyes when playing at night.

I always find it weird how ocarina has higher scores when Majora is much more refined.

I’m gonna try to finish up bug fables. I’m in the last chapter and I’m decently far through said chapter so I’ll just give it the last hour or 2 I have to! What a great game it’s been. Definitely see myself replaying this.

Hopefully they learned from the first game. The latter half was just really annoying to play.

my two character hopes are crushed already. Smashed I would say even. Both Shantae and Alucard are in but one is non playable and the 2nd is the equivalent of non playable. They could add Willy Wonka and I wouldn’t care. Just please make the other parts of the direct good. Id love to see some Zelda and maybe that rumored castlevania advance 3 pack today. Also please put SOTN on switch too? Holy crap Konami take it from Sony its YOUR game.
