I’ve played the fan translation and of course I really liked it. It’s a great coming of age story and has some of the hardest emotional beats in any game out there. The fan translation has been worked on for so long you can see how fine tuned the English is in all of the grammar. Usually with things like this there’re is some forgiveness you have to give it when it comes to some dialogue. It carries the attitude mother has and it’s really as close to perfect as possible.

Don’t care. Buying it anyway once I can get a real look at it.

Should’ve launched on switch. But really this game is far gone. The only ones left are the entrapped. Trying to get their moneys worth out of all the gambling they did. It has been what seems like 3 years since the game came out and there is still no game to be played. A husk of an open world filled with daily fetch quests and gambling to simulate the illusion of worthwhile quests to be completed. It doesn’t feel like an adventure just a big lobby.

@Vix Splatoon is great! I felt the same way you did then felt like trying it when it was on sale for 25 bucks.

@CANOEberry no it’s just simplistic. It’s a stylistic choice. Lots of people confuse simplicity with low budget. The surrounding quality let’s you know it was fitting the style.

I don’t have any interest in Slay the spire and I’ve already played earthbound through about 4 times. This is a good idea though and I’d love to see a particular set of website features to allow discussions on games until the period has ended. Perhaps limited time group chat channels on the game being run and other community features. Everyone has a backlog so this would be a good way to get people involved in handling it together.

@RupeeClock anyone watching anybody play this wasn’t going to buy the game anyway or without seeing someone play it in the first place. No one will listen to this and no one will really even see these warnings.

Man two point hospital is great. Definitely the type of management game we need more of on switch. Can’t wait for two point campus but if it needs more time to be considered finished I’ll happily wait.

@nowthisisepic I beg to differ but I suppose it depends on how many you’ve gotten to from the indie scene. Seems like too many of them are based off Metroid, Zelda and earthbound. Anything else immediately sparks interest for me.

So 1. Why would you release a game with planned obsolescence in mind which would occur around 4 to 5 months?

And 2. Why play that you are acknowledging fans but not actually make changes that were asked for?

And also just wow these bug fixes are embarrassing. How do you release a racing game that doesn’t get the fundamentals right? Just stay out of Mario karts way. Don’t even try when this is the game ur bringing.

Wow I just watched an interview from the guy who made this game series! All the way back in the 80s he was the sole programmer and customer support man for this game. Burning floppies with the game on it and stuff. Super awesome. Watch Gamecenter CX y’all it’s great.

@HamatoYoshi no he is right it cannot brick the switch. This device only receives data from the switch through the dock. It doesn’t attach directly to the switch. The only devices or actions that you should worry about bricking the switch are third party docks, modding the switch itself, or anything that directly attaches to the switch’s motherboard.

Odd choice. The game doesn’t need another Winston but anything to hinder such a broken character is great. No other character is built to abuse the physics engine like Doomfist. Sick of being one shotted because he’s glitched onto a roof. This game needs less characters that are capable of disconnecting your keyboard.

@Gavintendo yeah dude included it cuz he got denied by publishers. He thought it was because he was one thing or another but it was mainly because the game itself is terrible but don’t tell him that. He thinks it’s a master work.

Scarlet Violet starter designs are really garbage so I can’t see myself getting excited enough to speculate. It’s all about stats anyway. I only use starters cuz I’m forced to I always end up throwing mine in a box when I catch what I want to use because typically starters aren’t that strong compared to other guys you can find later.

my method is picking the one that will not die so I can power up the dudes I actually want to use then throwing the starter in the garbage. Best example is Piplup. That thing flattens early game then either gets trash canned or become the HM Mule. but in BDSP he got trash canned since HMs are gone. still rolled early game though.

My fantasy on them was way cooler than what was shown. I thought the EMMI was going to be a single robot not many. And it would get more feral the more times you eluded it. Unfortunately it’s just one of many of the exact same copy paste encounter in different environments.

I just think all the designs are completely lazy so far. Excited for the overall games and not at all upset over these designs, stage 1 starters are the most throwaway designs anyway only the 3rd really matters since you spend the most time with them anyway. Helps if stage 2 looks cool also. Kinda why I like Grovyle over Sceptile.

Scarlet and violet are opposites they’re color compliments. Color compliments are always opposite. But really the people in the comments don’t know if the game needs more development time or not, it’s not about the time of reveal to release date it’s about how much closed door time it has already had and no one but them know that for certain. These have probably been in the making since arceus. Weird way to show that you care and want a quality game then saying yeah this needs more time after seeing or knowing nothing. If they want to release it then it’s their right to do so. Disrespecting their decision to do so by saying oh this definitely needs more time slow down is just insulting. It can come from a place of compassion but it comes off rude. They develop games for a living they’re fine.

Majora is more complete. It’s Zelda mechanic being the masks combined with the other Zelda mechanic being the songs makes it more of an overall package than ocarina was. I definitely feel like ocarina is just dungeon hopping, your 8 dungeons gets the same or less playtime vs majora due to the interest in exploration with things AND experiences to find and investment in the planning around the clock. “What can I do this cycle?” Creates such a bond between the game and the player that is hard to match in ocarina and is still a monumental relation that games hardly get down today. It’s more about shoving so much into one game with no sense of cohesion that you have objectives in games that just add nothing or just waste time, but filling time is all people want from their games now whether it was time wasted or well spent is unrelated as long as play time passed it counts as “content”

I’ve skipped them all since demon souls back on ps3. It’s not a super interesting series but I’m glad it does well. Keeps some people happy. The fans of it need to relax though. Anything somewhat negative about the series like “it’s not for me” “it’s too slow” is just met with an earful.

I did just test the demo last night on my garbage mobile data hotspot on 1 bar of 4g getting 6.6mbps down and 1mbps up and I actually had zero issues. Bugs me that it isn’t a port yes but honestly the games aren’t that great, but the service is really crazy efficient somehow and I hope that games that cannot feasibly be on switch due to Nintendos negligence would use the same service because wow it’s responsive and looks good has no latency or audio problems. Honestly some impressive cloud tech

It’s almost as if the NFT idea was stupid. If you have nothing to back them then why would anyone buy an NFT even if they weren’t against them? Just going to buy a jpeg for 50 bucks and have nothing to use it in. Big brain.
