Welp ever since Sonic Origins I figured this was coming. Although removing this means our only legitimate emulated copy of Sonic 3 and Knuckles with the original music will be gone. But yeah because of the input lag as @KayFiOS mentioned it's definitely one of my least preferred ways to play these games.

I'm glad they at least communicated an official response instead of keeping us on our toes. Although I still don't get why there were so many teases with it if it wasn't going to be announced in October. (Like "there will be no news about the switch successor in this presentation" what was the deal with that if they weren't going to announce it this year?)

Even though Origami King sold over 3 million sales I'm pretty sure Nintendo will see more success in a new paper mario game that is a mashup of ttyd's gameplay style and origami king's writing. Also I think paper mario fans are more excited to buy a new game versus a remake.

It's really cool seeing the progress he's made from transitioning to a game dev to a game director in order to make Deltarune at a faster pace

How are they so out of touch? What we have been saying for years is we want a standalone MOBILE chao game. Also quit it with the "if the stars align" nonsense it's so frustrating. MAKE sonic adventure 3 already it's been 23 years!! There are no excuses.

This game is peak monkey ball and the multiplayer works great for me 9/10 you can't convince me otherwise, until they top this game in the future

Yeah it needs more improvements over the original, compared to Luigi's Mansion 3 the graphics are okay. The controls and mission style gameplay are also a little weird.

why are they making a second one?

If sonic generations is $20 then why would you pay $50 for this? Is there enough new content to justify the price? And if you already own sonic generations why can't you buy the shadow dlc separately?

This feels very much like it could be ready in time for switch 2 and I don't see it ever coming to switch. I would have personally preferred another sequel but the original was good and this can fix some of it's flaws.
