If you didn't know Nintendo actually loses money every time people buy new joycons so it really makes me wonder why they just can't be bothered to fix the issue.

I hope to see some games I never heard of appear on this list instead of the usual Super Mario World and Super Metroid!

Now that nearly every Wii U game has been ported Nintendo seriously needs to import a library of N64/Gameboy/DS/Gamecube/Wii games. I don't know why they're waiting it's easy money

This is old news every gamer knows videogame music is the best for productivity but I suppose it's good for new switch gamers to join in too (and put their hands together).

Gaming is the best it has ever been and I see lots of innovation, I'm not sure what others are talking about.

I find it pretty interesting that Rocket League never lists Fortnite in this event. It makes me wonder if this is a brand deal or if the Fortnite llama is a fair use character and same with the term "battle bus". If the ladder I can't imagine Rocket League winning the lawsuit.

@Jeronan Hey I mean you're not wrong, I think the Switch form factor should last for a decade unless we get new revolutionary tech that isn't portable just yet. Even then they could develop new games for both consoles much like the 3ds/Wiiu.

I mean I think some people are getting the wrong impression here. Nintendo is all about innovation, they stated this many times in this article itself, to say Nintendo's next console is going to be similar to the previous ones is not really true. I'm still looking forward to the day when Nintendo releases a functional and technologically impressive VR console.

Even if the IP team has limits that should not mean they make Sticker Star for the 3rd time (and yes that's what Origami King is, the platforming and combat system while having changes is pretty similar to Sticker Star and Color Splash). I think they were afraid to get more creative but that's what the series needs.

I don't think companies can afford to price their games over $60. We live at a time where many $15 indie games are better than AAA games so they have to compete with great gameplay. Even if the graphics are much better, in the words of Reggie "If the game isn't fun then why bother?"

I hope they include a few bonus items for people that bought the game not knowing it would eventually be free to play. I bought this game twice.

I bet they are just waiting on a new script, there's no way they'd go through all that effort to fix the Sonic movie if there wouldn't be a sequel, the building of the Eggman character, a very important character reveal at the end, etc.

There just isn't enough reward for catching bugs in fish in this game, you can turn the game on a tiny bit per day and check turnip prices and sell fruit and that's not nearly as fun as catching bugs and fish why isn't that the main source of income??

I really wanted to buy this game digitally so I can frequently have access to it, it's too bad that I won't be getting any pre-order bonus from it though.

Everyone knew a new Fire Emblem character was coming but it's still disappointing when you think about all the other possible characters it could have been.

It's annoying that this person says "Now I have absolutely no skepticism. Be hype." Like seriously there are so many rumors that don't get confirmed, what makes this person think that I should get hyped and then disappointed if he's wrong? Why does he think he has any credibility to this even if he predicted something right in the past?

My unrealistic dream is that Nintendo will make a 3d hologram machine for your room that you can play games on without the need of a headset.

@Silly_G You make a good point, it's not really a good thing that Smash's file size is smaller. But also Hat in Time certainly could have reduced their file size.

Nintendo needs to lend other publishers their handy file compression techniques. Smash Bros. Ultimate somehow has a file size that is smaller than the Wii U game.
