Yeah it needs more improvements over the original, compared to Luigi's Mansion 3 the graphics are okay. The controls and mission style gameplay are also a little weird.
If sonic generations is $20 then why would you pay $50 for this? Is there enough new content to justify the price? And if you already own sonic generations why can't you buy the shadow dlc separately?
This feels very much like it could be ready in time for switch 2 and I don't see it ever coming to switch. I would have personally preferred another sequel but the original was good and this can fix some of it's flaws.
My research indicates a new game in the works with codename Star. It is a new Mario kart game. (I've been on long enough to see even the most reputable leakers eventually fall off.)
One of my favorite games of all time yet I wouldn't give it a 10 because I think this is just the start of what they could do with the series. I'd love more badges and mechanics built onto this formula.
Remember it's not purely statistics, some people know themselves well and know that they will never be good with Little Mac while others play better with him
I mean that's fair no one likes seeing a bunch of logos before a movie starts but I used to love how all Nintendo gamecube games featured surround sound I don't know why they stopped doing that. Luigi's mansion especially sounds incredible with it.
Nintendo does a lot to try to maintain a relatively good relationship with it's fans which is a lot harder than it seems when it comes to making good games and is always a growing process
A tony halk-like DK game could be interesting but yeah DK probably shouldn't grind ropes. There are many ways they could keep fluidity, cranky's pogo was fun they could use DK's hand stomp move to launch him higher in the air and they could introduce slopes when he rolls to build momentum. If there was a 3d DK game I would want the camera to seamlessly transition to 2d levels if he walks into a forest or enters a barrel.
The icons are really cool but most people will just open the game up for 1 second and then exit it I don't really see the point. Not to mention I've already beaten the game many times on and off NSO.
I finally caved in and got the game again on switch just to experience a modern DK game again even though I already have it for wii u. My big complaint with switch is it feels like half of the library is remakes of previous titles.
The Pokemon team has too much of an ego, Palworld's success shouldn't come as a surprise seeing that the fanbase is looking for them to change the formula which they don't want to do
While tempting even xbox game pass with it's low monthly cost would have me spend more money on pc games than I do yearly. And yeah, I wouldn't own it forever.
Yeah cautiously optimistic is safe with Sega. Man Sega can hype up trailers and footage so well, but I don't want to be disappointed if anything falls short like several games have in the past. In GENERAL though I feel like Sega is making good steps forward. While Sonic Superstars had some mixed reviews the key Sega lately is they do SEEM to be listening to fan feedback at least a LITTLE for once haha. We even got a classic monkey ball remake which I'm still playing over and over again.
I just want a smaller world that is intentionally designed with more to do and not procedurally generated. This approach can also make it feel more linear without it actually being. I think there's a sweet spot between older games and the botw series.
Having bought Splatoon 3 after 2 made me realize that the games are literally the same with only a few changes. The singleplayer content is not long enough to justify the purchase. If nintendo wants me to keep supporting the series then it will need more significant changes with each sequel. Or just turn it into one of those free-to-play battlepass games.

32gb with free cloud storage - why should Nintendo create a preventive for people buying more games?
