Preorders only opened for System Shock 2. This is an update for System Shock 1, not 2. Preorders have never opened for System Shock 1. https://atari.com/collections/physical-games
It'll be interesting to see which will be numbered releases and which will be retail distribution. Aside from Slam City (bleh), I'm down for owning a copy of almost everything presented. Turbo Overkill especially.
The original release on the NES was the first rpg I ever played. I enjoy going back to DQ1 every five years or so. I'm eager for this release, as well as the DQ VII remake later this year.
I'm a Square-Enix mark and have bought most (if not all) of their Switch physical releases. Skipped The Adventures of Dai and Dragon Quest X Offline though.
@Ooccoo_Jr GKC are a weird middle ground that pleases only publishers and retailers. Physical collectors don't desire them and they are less convenient than purchasing a digital copy.
Game-key cards are soggy tacos. They do not appeal to folks who collect physical video games. And they're less convenient than just buying a digital copy. They have a small niche, folks who enjoy borrowing games to friends, or folks who want a small monetary return when they trade / sell that game-key card.
Enthusiasm is at a solid 5/10. Unless there's going to be a legendary remaster such as Skies of Arcadia or Chrono Trigger announced for Switch 1 tomorrow...I kind of don't care.
Considering it's Forever Entertainment, this is likely a very cost-efficient way to improve the quality of their releases. Never been a fan, but at the same time they're my fellow Polish folk, so I can't disregard them outright.
Really do love the first game, having played through it half a dozen times now. Too bad the sequel is such a soggy taco. Looking forward to The Beast to see if Techland can return to form.

Probably good to have this update go live before Atari open preorders for the physical release. https://www.facebook.com/NightdiveStudios/posts/in-case-you-missed-it-system-shock-remake-is-coming-soon-to-nintendo-switch-and-/1403876215072233/

Re: No Man's Sky 'Voyagers' Update Lets You Design And Build Your Own Spaceship
@AppleBlade That's true. NMS is a genuine space exploration, survival, sandbox. Meanwhile, Starfield (loading) is (loading) still loading, lol.
Re: No Man's Sky 'Voyagers' Update Lets You Design And Build Your Own Spaceship
But I recently dropped 30+ million units on an exotic guppy.
Anywho. NMS, the gift that keeps on giving.
Re: Atari Acquires IP Rights To Five Ubisoft Games, Including 2011's 'Child Of Eden'

Re: Nintendo Sends Out Second Game-Key Card & Physical Game Survey
Game-key card = no purchase. I would rather wait until the digital copy is on deep discount, 75% or better.

Yes, game borrowing, trading and selling is a niche. If it wasn't, retailers like Gamestop and GAME would be fairing better.

Re: Nightdive Studios & Atari Announce Physical Edition of Remastered Turok Trilogy Bundle
