@DestructoDisk Thanks for your comment! Well, your mileage may vary. In my opinion, Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins is definitely the better game, but I think the first Super Mario Land is worth a play, mostly for the historical value... and for its catchy soundtrack!

Full disclosure, I legit forgot about the previous movie, it was that forgettable to me. 😅 Hey, I should give it another chance and see if I was simply in a bad mood when I previously watched it. Maybe.

Oddly enough, I never played this game but I've listened to the soundtrack. If I ever play this game, it'd definitely be this version.

It happened to me with two controllers, and... both of 'em came from the Joy-Cons I got at launch, heh. Annoying, but I got them replaced the same official, mail-in way as expected.

This is all well and good, but until they add Alice from Alice in Wonderland (1951), this game's roster will never truly live up to my lofty expectations. Although I will say, I'm not an Oswald fanatic and I even think he looks great here!

This isn't the kind of "Lunar" game I normally obsess over (and this is simply a dumb joke about my handle and avatar), but this has my curiosity. I never played the original classic, but this new take sounds curious, even if it's heavy with the story and exposition. We'll see if I pick this up down the road!

My wildest 3DS memory will forever be when I got a StreetPass Plaza hit with someone from my rural town… when both of us were in Disneyland… while both of us were hundreds and hundreds of miles away from said hometown! Heh.

I swear, collecting these Peach icons feels like adding Infinity Stones to my Gauntlet. I dare myself to remove Mermaid Peach from my avatar now! I dare myself!

The NES game is of my earliest memories in gaming. The nostalgia is so overwhelming for me that I simply had to revisit. But, yowza, that price tag! The price would’ve been more justifiable for me, personally, if the game had a completely redrawn, hand-animated remastered mode to go along with it, as a ‘Remastered’ tie-in.

But I bought it anyway, because my desire overpowered me. Curses!

I’ve been sitting on a mountain of silver coins, and here I am, spending so many this game’s rewards!

I'm playing this game regardless (I'm that much of a hopeless Peach fan), but it'd be a fine bonus if this game happens to receive an overall decent reception.

Bah! Just this past weekend, I was crazy enough to drive a couple of hours to a major city (not round-trip, mind) just to watch a favorite movie in a theater. I'm not crazy enough to do the same for a beverage, unfortunately! Oh, Princess Peach, my beloved monarch, please forgive me. I humbly beg your forgiveness. You will always be the premiere, showstopping, spotlit leading lady in my life!

If that's the only way to experience Castle of Illusion in Fortnite, hypothetically, then so be it.

As I played this, I imagined my young child self from the early 1990s being so overjoyed to play as Princess Toadstool—er—Peach like this. 💖 Very cute, charming demo!

An old friend of mine and I always wanted to at least try out the CD-i Zelda games, just for a laugh. I guess this upcoming game is the next best thing? We'll see.

@Switcher2023 Oh, yeah! I've played both of the original games, and while I understand that the second game on the Wii was very slow-paced, I vibed with it just fine. I do like Ashley a lot, and I'm really excited for when I can finally play the remakes!

Right now, I'm most curious about how cutscenes are handled. Like, will it use the same FMVs, even in this remastering? Will the original recorded voices be present?

I played Rayman 3 on the GBA in a camping trip. I never played the ‘real’ version of Rayman 3, but the GBA version was like a direct sequel to the first Rayman, gameplay-wise. Completely unrelated to gaming, that was the same trip when I first read “The Great Gatsby”, so I’ve always lumped Rayman and F. Scott Fitzgerald together, in my mind.

I've been a very big Princess Peach/Toadstool fan my whole life. My good buddies know this, and when we played Wonder, they asked me how I felt about Elephant Peach, Slime Peach, Balloon Peach, etc.

I said that I feel like the lover of a romantic partner, in a horror movie, and my partner has been transformed into a werewolf, or some monstrosity. I'd hold Peach's hands (or slime?) and say, "It's okay. I still love you. We can get through this." I'd clench my eyes shut, tilt my head down, and cry, but I'd mean every word. "We'll get through this. I'm still here, by your side."

Then I concluded my rambling jokes to my friends with, "Nah, it's all good. Princess Peach works in mysterious ways."

The only trouble I had was the motion puzzle, where I had to slide a key out. Maybe it was my Pro Controller, but switching to handheld mode helped.

Personal opinion here: Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law is better than any of these Ace Attorney games--yowza, I can't type that with a straight face! Though it would be surprising if that game was re-released!

I'm excited! I never played an Ace Attorney game I disliked, and I was surprised how much I really enjoyed Spirit of Justice, despite some flaws. I pre-ordered my physical copy of this collection. Meanwhile, I personally wish the Investigations games would get enhanced ports/remade for the West, simply because I've never played Investigations 2.

@XiaoShao As I type this, I'm literally looking at that Layton crossover's cover art, which I have framed on my wall! That game holds a special place in my heart!

Of all the reveals, Richter Belmont actually got me to flip out.

Oh, my gosh, playing that NES Felix the Cat game is one of the earliest gaming memories I have!

I actually won a costume contest at a recent Halloween event/party, and the winnings will help me buy this remake.

I believe I'll keep my OLED Switch, as some others have said, for trips and travel.
