As for my answer. For many reasons, I took a lengthy break from the game and missed out on some things, so I couldn’t vote for a couple of these options out of honesty. With all that said, I was surprisingly pleased with Turkey Day. The music got stuck in my head, heh. And I, of course, like Halloween a lot! But also the cherry blossoms... if only I could’ve picked a three-way tie!

I’m gonna be optimistic! Apart from DKC3, I haven’t played these other games before, nor have I heard of them, so that means I have unchartered territory to explore! 😃

This is absolutely not what I was expecting at all. I didn’t predict Sephiroth whatsoever! This practically grabbed my table and flipped it over just to shock me!

And I couldn’t be happier. 😁

I can’t seem to find a review of the game here, so this is what I’ll nominate: “NO THING” by Forever Entertainment. It’s a very bizarre, hidden... rock? Not sure I’d call it a gem, but it sure stuck with me for a while after playing it!

Compared to how Egg Day was handled, this was a warm and pleasant event. Just my opinion!

The Wii U was the first gaming console where I had to meet a delivery truck driver to pick mine up, in person, due to circumstances. My first Wii U addiction was Donkey Kong’s Crash Course in NintendoLand.

Overall, I loved the Wii U and played some amazing games. I loved Super Mario 3D World, loved Tropical Freeze, and by this point, I have a nostalgic soft spot for a genuinely terrible eShop game, The Letter!

The Wii U did me well, but I confess... the moment the Switch was revealed, and how the Switch handled in my hands, I knew the Wii U was more or less done for, regarding my time and attention.

I love you, Wii U! Warts and all! Yet, as of this writing, my Wii U is not connected to the TV, and is instead safely tucked away in my gaming closet.

Well, better late than never.

I am so glad this came to Switch! I was a big fan of it elsewhere. Well, I’m still a big fan and I’m double-dippin’! The Switch will be my permanent home for this game now!

And here I was all, “I never played the original, so I might check out this remake!” Oof. Never mind. And using the “Can Can” music was a great touch for that montage.

I played a ridiculous amount of hours of this, elsewhere. On the Switch? I’m in!

I must be desensitized. My years worth of having a Lifetime Network-obsessed family has made this trailer more boring to me than offensive. Hmm. 🤔 Still not interested, anyway, so.

Luna? Hm. That's a lovely name. Yeah... But I think I've heard the name "Luna" used before. Where could it have been? Sure, it's a given name, but... "Luna." I swear it speaks to me on a different subject... Anyway! This looks very pretty, and I love a good adventure game. I'm gonna keep an eye on this.

This was and still is a personal favorite of mine, particularly the music. There's a specific music track I listen to (Grass Land overworld) whenever a relative or close friend dies. I guess it's become a personal tradition for me.

Not to mention, this is one of my go-to picks whenever I babysit. It's cute, calming, and you can't lose!

Quina was my first-ever video game crush, actually. So seeing him/her on the cover makes me blush and smile!

I placed 4th on my first game, got 1st a few games after that, and ever since then it's been a fluctuation. Sometimes I get below 4, sometimes I get 1st, yeah. So, "multiple times."

I confess that I blurt-sang 🎶Araaabiaaaan Niiiiiiight!🎶 the instant I saw the title screen. Out loud. Well, I’ve never played this, not that I can recall, so I might check it out!

@MysteryCupofJoe Oh, it’s very, very slow, haha! As much as I like it, I’ll be the first to say it’s not for everybody. Molasses-like pacing, and it’s repetitive; you find a key on each floor (stage) and ascend, and I think there’s, like, 60 floors. But I really got into it. I liked playing it, but also, Tower of Druaga reminds me of hanging out with my great aunt. I suppose some of my fondness comes from those memories of her. At any rate, happy gaming, yo! 😄

Truthfully, my big takes off sunglasses slowly in an unnecessarily dramatic fashion and opens his mouth in shock reaction from this was: “The Tower of Druaga? Gil?! I loved that game when I was young!”

I’ve been having a lot of fun with this! I ranked 4th my first go.

I had an unusual feeling of schadenfreude as I glanced at extremely and over-the-top negative reactions to the reveal. We all have our vices, I admit!

I was never what you’d consider a pro at Minecraft (ah, who am I kiddin’, I’m forever a casual), but I’ve played on and off with others, mainly relatives. I smiled at the reveal, and now I’m truly amazed by how much work is going into this. I commend Sakurai and the whole Smash team!

What magical Switchcraft is this?!

@ThanosReXXX Deep, nostalgic exhale Ah, I'll never forget the first time I ever watched Princess Mononoke. A local theater screened it, one night only. I live in a rural town, so it wasn't like the biggest cineplex our small community (which boasts a colossal number of... four auditoriums, with wildly varying sizes) fought tooth and nail to screen it. No. Where it was screened was in one of the oldest stage theat*re*s in my state (Mark Twain attended there, it seems), and said theatre is not made to serve as a modern movie auditorium.

Yet, they made it happen. They had Princess Mononoke, they had a film projector, and they assembled a serviceable screen that was charmingly shabby, or shabbily charming. I mean, it practically screamed, "Shucks, fellas, let's put on a show!"

And they did. It was the English dub, but I would watch the original Japanese version the nanosecond I got it on DVD, later. Funnily enough, before I ever watched a single frame of the film, I was thoroughly introduced to it because I got Joe Hisaishi's score music (on CD) beforehand. The music was my introduction. To make a long story short ("Too late!"), I listened to the score repeatedly and thought, "If the story and animation are anywhere near as good as its music, then Princess Mononoke must be gold!"

To summarize, yeah. Yep. I love it. Very much. One of my top favorite films--inside or out of the "animated" category. Most of my closest pals are big fans, too, and we've made silly running gags or inside jokes about the movie. I once imitated the Ape Tribe but made their voices sound like they going door-to-door to sell useless junk.

I randomly thought of this game today, even though I’ve never played it.

The funny thing is, every time I see the North American box art, I immediately think of, not the game, but the children's novella that was adapted from it. I remember reading that in, third grade? Something like that.

Doesn't matter what the context is, what's being said or written of it, it doesn't matter at all--Whenever I hear, read or think of Tomb Raider, what comes to my mind is the sound of glasses rattling on a tray, a slow butler moaning and gurgling (occasionally flatulating), and immediately following that is an impulse to lock said butler in a freezer, or meat closet, or whatever!

Ah, Epic Mickey games. Great concept, middling to terrible execution, in my opinion.

Power of Illusion was my favorite and even that was deeply flawed. Still, it’s nice that there’s such a loyal fanbase!
