Oh, my gosh. I played the heck out of the original game, over a decade ago! I It complemented a family road trip. Wow! I simply can’t wait!

This was... a tremendous surprise for me. I stared at the article in silence for, like, thirty seconds of uninterrupted disbelief. Even after reading. Heh. Ahem. A pleasant surprise!

I really fancy this game. Love the outstanding soundtrack. Love the original voices (most of whom are dead now), and I love the challenge. I heartily recommend this game.

Before one accuses Capcom of being lazy or the jerk here, consider this educated guess: Disney likely doesn’t want this game to ‘interfere’ with the current reboot.

“What is a port?!” shatter

I backed the game and opted for the Switch edition. Then immediately regretted it. I played the two PC demos, so I knew something was very wrong. Forgive my disloyalty, but I went with the PS4 version and never looked back.

I was immediately partial to the backgrounds and the environment, when I first saw this on eShop. Other things in life have usurped my time, so I didn’t get around to buying this, but I have it in my list!

They’ve already crossed off many characters on my longstanding list. Simon, Richter, King K. Rool, Banjo-Kazooie... Ultimate has made so many pipe dreams come true. So, for me, personally, the only character left on my list is Professor Layton. I know that’s not happening, though!

I listened to both GameXplain (Andre)'s review and Alex's reviews back-to-back. It was cool to get different perspectives while talking about the same things. I am so excited for this!

As for Luigi’s Mansion 3, I hope it incorporates more elements from the first game. Like, if 3 had the best beats of 1 and 2, I think that’d be great. I miss the Portrait Ghosts.

This is disappointing. While I’ve always preferred gaming in the same room on the couch, I also have friends who live far away. I’m still excited as hell, but I hope they somehow find a way to remedy this.

I'm complicated. At the same time, I always root for an artist to convey their vision, yet I always have the right to an opinion, and in my opinion, this artist's vision of Sonic is laughably ugly. This Sonic looks awful to me, yet I'm invested in the news and already agreed with my best friend that we'd watch it, though likely on demand/Blu-Ray. Hmm. I really don't know what to say.

Despite the very divisive reactions to this film, and even though I personally think Sonic is poorly animated (though I've never liked his revealed design from the getgo), I've had some laughs!

All this time, I’ve just wondered if John Carpenter has seen the trailer and what he’d think. It was a fun surprise to learn that he is a fan of the Sonic games.

Excellent! It's the weakest in the series by far, in my opinion, but I still like it.

I remember when the first game, about a decade ago, was looking to be straight-up homage/remake of the first Clock Tower game. It’s really neat to see how it evolved over the years. I have played the first game, but I think it’s the music that I like the most.

I don't think I'm getting this 3DS version, but I loved the original game. It was perfect for the times I babysat--a game where you can't die!
The overworld theme of the "Grass Land" is the music track I listen to privately, whenever a relative or friend of mine passes away, starting with my grandmother. I'm not kidding. It's a beautiful piece of music that has become my tradition for bittersweet circumstances.

I don’t use Gmail. Wonder if that has anything to do with why I had no trouble getting my code (digital version). Anyway, sorry to those who had a hard time. :/ I had to help a friend when they couldn’t find their code.

I haven’t gotten all the Wii U ports, and I don’t think I will. MK8D, though, was a no-brainer for me. My friends and family have all played it. The convenience of the Switch itself made it a done deal. Of course, we haven’t played the game lately... because of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

This was the last game I re-downloaded just before the Wii Shop Channel shut down! This game takes me back...
