@Maschinenmensch May I borrow your tinfoil hat? I could use it to bake a potato!

Thought it was a Gremlin for a nanosecond.

Well, this creep has done one thing for me: they got me interested in the actual game!

@KingBowser86 Slams fist on table in agreement Aye! Fantastic idea!

If only Cuphead could parry a lot on Peach’s pink dress. Or Kirby. Or anything pink.

Professor Layton, you’re my one true gentleman!

I liked The Holiday Special more than The Last Jedi, and I say that with all sincerity. At least The Holiday Special got my family to smile! ... Not always the way the Special intended. Nonetheless...!

@sleepinglion “Kylo and Rey flirt over instant messenger.” Hahaha! Yeah. Even when I first watched the film in theaters, with their Force sensual connectivity or whatever, I wondered if Rey was going to accidentally catch sight of Kylo on the john or something. He rustles a newspaper then notices her.

Coincidentally, I had an odd dream about Dark Helmet and Colonel Sandurz last night.

“Never Again” is also the title of a 2001 romantic comedy film. Please don’t get the two confused!

It seems a horror game requires at least one creepy doll.

@ShadJV As always, I can hear your avatar! Yeah, I feel for you. I was in attendance at that D23 panel about gaming, the one where San Fransokyo was revealed for Kingdom Hearts III. But at that same panel, Peter Pan’s Infinity figure was announced. It looked cool. And, as we know... Infinity got the cord pulled! It was always weird to me how a figure got announced and then cancelled. Very strange feeling...

@Sabrewing Tron 2.0 would be a fun revisit.

“You are becoming hysterical. Tut, tut.”

Ooh, I’m gonna have me a revisit with the game on the go!

@garfreek No joke, my heart fluttered dreamily as I imagined it all. Yeah, I would be over the moon! I love Layton.

I stand by Professor Layton until the day I spend my last hint coin.

“Life in the Mines” forever!

Personally, I felt old when “The Little Mermaid” turned 30. And I watched it in theaters.

Haha! Kirby’s inhalation sound as the Poltergust noise!

I felt the urge to visit Station Square during the 1960s and have a swingin’ time in the lounge with a martini in hand.

I approve!

“Consider this a divorce of consoles.”

Yeah, I'm definitely picking this up sometime down the road!

Every time I think about this game, I imagine Kyle saying, “It’s offline.”

@alpacatears Yeah, I also had to upgrade to 400. Not a bad price, though!

@Jawessome By gosh, yes! Of course. How could I forget... the Atari Lynx! Haha, Switch is my front runner for sure, but I dunno, I just want to hear some opinions first. Jawsooooome!

I want this Remaster, but I’m holding off until I read some reviews—specifically, which version to get!

I'm afraid I can't shovel any of my funds for this, but I would love to have one. Very pretty.

Oh, my gosh. I played the heck out of the original game, over a decade ago! I It complemented a family road trip. Wow! I simply can’t wait!

This was... a tremendous surprise for me. I stared at the article in silence for, like, thirty seconds of uninterrupted disbelief. Even after reading. Heh. Ahem. A pleasant surprise!

I really fancy this game. Love the outstanding soundtrack. Love the original voices (most of whom are dead now), and I love the challenge. I heartily recommend this game.

Before one accuses Capcom of being lazy or the jerk here, consider this educated guess: Disney likely doesn’t want this game to ‘interfere’ with the current reboot.

Solve the mystery by falling in love? Imagine if that statement was super literal to how mysteries had to be solved!

Nancy Drew: “UGH, I gotta solve this case about a serial killer, and my budding relationship is LATE to dinner!!”

This looks up my alley. Sweet!

This game was like a memorable fever dream, really!

It’s not a Switch model I’m going to buy, but I have zero qualms about it, nope. I know a friend or two who will really appreciate this!

Is sitting on his literal stack of backlogged games that stack a mile high, and he's frantically trying to catch up.
No rush, Cuphead! Take your time! Really, I agree with the reasoning.

@sdelfin Yeah. Maybe the ‘snow’ will be confectionary sugar or something, to make it ‘snowy’ yet appropriate for the food theme. Perhaps not. We’ll see!

“What is a port?!” shatter

I backed the game and opted for the Switch edition. Then immediately regretted it. I played the two PC demos, so I knew something was very wrong. Forgive my disloyalty, but I went with the PS4 version and never looked back.

I was immediately partial to the backgrounds and the environment, when I first saw this on eShop. Other things in life have usurped my time, so I didn’t get around to buying this, but I have it in my list!

They’ve already crossed off many characters on my longstanding list. Simon, Richter, King K. Rool, Banjo-Kazooie... Ultimate has made so many pipe dreams come true. So, for me, personally, the only character left on my list is Professor Layton. I know that’s not happening, though!

I listened to both GameXplain (Andre)'s review and Alex's reviews back-to-back. It was cool to get different perspectives while talking about the same things. I am so excited for this!

@memoryman3 Thank you for sharing that.

That was a great read! I had no idea there was a graphic novel about Tetris.

His music loop played in my head as I read the article. I hope to see you sometime down the trail, Mr. Resetti!

@NinChocolate I also thought of the Fry Kids! That was so long ago.

I really want that Animal Crossing reveal! My friends and I would be delighted.

As for Luigi’s Mansion 3, I hope it incorporates more elements from the first game. Like, if 3 had the best beats of 1 and 2, I think that’d be great. I miss the Portrait Ghosts.

As for my obligatory pipe dream guess? Hotel Dusk HD on Switch. RIP Cing.

@Keywork Yep! It’s Peer. I heard him address the meme on NVC, once.

Thanks for this heads up! I got the event exclusives, with beloved company.

@Einherjar Dr. Eggman, in his official Sega design, dramatically brings The Mask to his face. Once he wears it, he cartoonishly spins into the form of Jim Carrey’s live-action Eggman.
“I’m in charge!”

Yeah, I really got ‘classic’ Jim vibes from the trailer, the early 90s era.

@bimmy-lee @WiltonRoots You two are great. Love your conversation!

This is disappointing. While I’ve always preferred gaming in the same room on the couch, I also have friends who live far away. I’m still excited as hell, but I hope they somehow find a way to remedy this.

That's really unfortunate. I haven't played all of their games, but I'd be bummed if they fell.

@Galarian_Lassie Haha! Exactly!

I'm complicated. At the same time, I always root for an artist to convey their vision, yet I always have the right to an opinion, and in my opinion, this artist's vision of Sonic is laughably ugly. This Sonic looks awful to me, yet I'm invested in the news and already agreed with my best friend that we'd watch it, though likely on demand/Blu-Ray. Hmm. I really don't know what to say.

Despite the very divisive reactions to this film, and even though I personally think Sonic is poorly animated (though I've never liked his revealed design from the getgo), I've had some laughs!

All this time, I’ve just wondered if John Carpenter has seen the trailer and what he’d think. It was a fun surprise to learn that he is a fan of the Sonic games.
