Lego has never been easy on the wallet, so the price isn’t shocking to me. While Bowser looks really cool like that, I can’t justify getting one now.

The bad news is, I really am not feeling this art style at all. The characters, specifically. The good news: I’ve wanted a new Monkey Island for so long that I’m way more than willing to dive into an art style I dislike, just for everything else. I’m in! And who knows? Maybe it’ll grow on me.

@Tobiaku Right, yeah! I Get it. 😄 It’s difficult for me to put it in words, but the reason I think this movie isn’t comparable with Roger Rabbit is that, in my opinion, Roger Rabbit followed its rules a lot better than this movie follows its own.

There were certain non-Disney cameos that really took me aback, although I was spoiled about Ugly Sonic quite a while ago.

From my perspective, this movie absolutely does not belong in the same breath as Roger Rabbit. I don’t think this movie is anywhere near as good, but, hey, I smiled a few times!

Thanks! Oh, I'm all over this! This reminds me of how I'd imagine Donkey Kong Country music, back in the 90s, performed in my head, while I took a test or did homework. I imagined renditions that didn't exist, yet this really, really comes close!

I obsessively listened to Donkey Kong Country and "The Mask" soundtracks close together, you see.

Make an entire epic saga based solely on the motion-cow milking minigame. Whether it'd be an udder failure or an udder success, it's best to just moo-ve along.

I was utterly obsessed with "The Mask" when it first came out. I even went as Stanley Ipkiss in Mask form for a Halloween. Then my parents, knowing how much I loved that lighthearted comedy, gifted me the original "The Mask" comics. ... Ssssssmokingly huge differences between the original source and that movie, I'll just say.

I haven't seen eye to eye with Jim regarding many things, but I am thankful for some classics (to me). All-righty then.

I got a Luigi's Mansion 3 poster (framed) on my wall, and I loved Punch-Out!! Wii... to the point of declaring myself in punch-drunk with it! Rock on, sir!

The biggest reason I want a new, upgraded Switch model is to add new stickers to it! I got some nifty ones in a drawer that’s been waitin’ for it! I want to decal a Pro like the travel stickers in Super Mario Odyssey. Yesiree.

A Fragmentary Passage is sentimental to me, because it was the game I played and 100%’d, when I took breaks from writing my final essay for a university.

Even if I was into cloud gaming (I live in a rural place that simply can’t keep up with that kind of demand), I already have the series elsewhere.

I’ve yet to see any of the games’ main characters dance to “Step in Time” with tight choreography, so for now, no, I don’t have a problem with the ‘Britishness’ of the voice acting. A ‘British’ cast is run with precision, and Xenoblade requires nothing less!

HD ports, enhanced or not, of two games from the defunct Cing: Hotel Dusk: Room 215 + Last Window: The Secret of Cape West. Gimme some Kyle Hyde adventures... please.

Finally! I needed the "Wii Shop" tune in my real life. I've restocked bubblegum so many times to dead silence, but now I have this immortal melody to comfort me as I impulsively buy more gum. I'm not sarcastic, either--I installed this and tested it out, haha! Sweet!

I know what character the Rock will portray, in this upcoming mystery video game movie. Okay, take a look at my avatar. Now imagine him dressed like it, with a blue wig and all. Oh, yeah. The Rock as Luna in... Lunar: Silver Star Story. Yep. Make this cursed fantasy I just came up with come true!

Actually, when I heard of John’s passing, the first thing I thought of was his cameo in “Little Giants” (1994). I always wanted John Madden to suddenly step off a bus and ask me for directions. I played many a Madden game in the 90s, and he also reminds me of happier times in college.

One of my fondest memories of playing the original PC Vice City, waaaayyyyy back, was including "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang" as one of the custom tunes. Yeah, sophisticated humor--me bobbing my head merrily to Dick Van Dyke while driving around to do... well, GTA things!

I've waited a long while to revisit these three games, so we'll see.

As a "retired" high school drama student/community theater guy, this reminds me why I love stage musicals so much. Yes, I would be very interested in some Toad and Yoshi emotional and romantic development! The world needs more of that.

@Ralizah I agree! I glanced at the reveal and was like, "Oh, cool, both games bundled together in one Switch package!" Realizing it was just the second game kinda took the wind out of my sails. And I doubly agree on how this should've been a proper next entry.

Now I want an alternate cover where it's Dr. Eggman conducting the orchestra. Or, perhaps, playing an instrument.

The total lack of voices/grunts/vocalizations of any kind really is unfortunate, IMO. I know I mentioned that before, but, gosh, I'm sayin' it again! Still, I'm curious and am hoping this'll turn out to be a really solid game. Is it obviously lower-budgeted? Yeah. Is it looking rough and imperfect now? Sure. But my inner 80s/90s child is rooting for this.

No matter what version I listen to or try to think about, I tend to think about Super Mario Bros. 3's World Map 3 when mentally listening to Fairy Fountain, often as a mashup. And that's just fine with me! I love 'em all.

@Ragdoll72 Richard Horvitz, the voice actor of Zim, said he and other VAs were not called in to record any lines for this game. If this game has no voice acting whatsoever, then my curiosity has plummeted severely.

Psychonauts 2! Gradually over the past month, I also replayed the first game, and Psychonauts in the Rhombus of Ruin to prepare.

I am also eating Psychonauts Cereal, which doesn’t exist, but if it did, I’d totally try it, because I’m a total sucker for Psychonauts!

I’ll definitely check this game out eventually, as I’m a veteran of the series, but as of right now, I’m brain-deep in Psychonauts 2.
