That's terrible, they're punishing most of the player base for some hypothetical cases, on top of that, it's a single player game - if they cheat the only ones who are missing on the fun are the cheaters!
There's no reason to not have cloud saves on this game.

The demonstration of the game by the Treehouse sold me totally on it. I can’t wait for it to release, I need more Platinum Games goodness!

I've never played the collection, so I'll grab it down the road, but I can't justify paying $40 for it now, with so many games coming out. I'll wait for a sale or see if the physical edition makes its way over here.

As an RPG fan and Nintendo fan it was a pretty great E3 for me, although I'm looking forward first to the next direct than next year's E3!

The game looks nice, and I'm glad for Playtonic. I hope they manage to walk out of Rare's shadow and eventually manage to go back to making 3D platformers, but with their own spice instead of looking to recapture the "Rare magic".

If getting the game out this year meant that devs would pay the cost by crunching, better to have it delayed.
No one will be able to make it up to those devs - missing important dates, long work hours, sometimes even getting health issues - while a player can wait some extra time without affecting their lives.

I've never played a DQ game, so this looks to be a nice way to get into the series. I'll get it down the road.

I'm really glad they brought Kirkhope on board with at least one remix of Banjo Kazooie for Smash, he's just too good of a composer to be left out!

It wasn't bad, but Bowser has a long way to go before reaching Reggie's charisma. Still, it was a nice first appearance as the new President of NoA.

I can live with those resolutions, but I hope it has a decent framerate - a bad framerate is far more annoying than resolution.

They probably showed it because it was leaked before E3 on reddit.
Anyway, I like the twist and don't mind that they showed it, because now you know they're all going to war but no idea how they'll handle killing their old classmates.

And while Edelgard and Claude look amazing after the time skip, time isn't doing any favors for Dimitri. I wonder if he's going down the Takumi route in Conquest.

What I like most about Dynamax is that it doesn't seem to have the whole animations Z-moves had. Those really cut off the flow of battles for me.

It doesn't look very comfortable to be honest. Cute but impractical.

At long damn last, Nintendo recognizes the Southern Hemisphere exists!

It will still be weird to have snow in winter, though - we don't get snow here, just rain. It will be fantastic, though, to finally have the game show summer in december.

It looks great - I watched it yesterday on the Treehouse and it looks wonderful, and as the article says, full of life. It's definitively looking as a big improvement over Dark Moon!

From what I've read, it seems this guy got the info through breaking NDAs and other less than legal means. Even if not, good luck paying the legal fees to defend yourself from the Nintendo Ninjas - even if the leaker is right (which I doubt) those fees will bankrupt him.

E3 is far better when there are no leaks.

I truly hope some nice surprise from Ubisoft this year for Switch owners. Mario + Rabbids is an amazing game!

As for Square... I don't have much hopes. Maybe we'll get more info on Oninaki and a release date for DQXIS.

I agree with the take. I know people would buy FIFA on Switch if it had the same features as the other consoles, but as it stands, it's a very bad move - you're paying the same for an old game, and that's been since FIFA 18. People like FUT (sadly).

Probably the market isn't there right now - but it isn't there because EA has done absolutely nothing in recent years to cultivate such an audience in the Switch, while banking on casual gamers that will get the market leader console and focusing their cash cow on them.

Unless they actually bother investing something on Switch, the chicken and egg point Gavin makes will continue to be true - and sadly, unless something implodes badly at EA they simply won't try another approach.

We don’t know the new Xbox’s name, for now we just know it’s codename, which is Scarlett. They’ll probably announce the official name at something like The Game Awards or E3 next year.

@ronb44 Astral Chain will almost 100% be shown at E3 considering its launching on August, they are in full marketing mode.
At the same time, I doubt we'll see something bigger than a tease of Bayo 3 (and I honestly think there won't be nothing shown) since they don't want to take the thunder away from Astral Chain.

That's just fine, I haven't bought an EA game in years and I doubt that will change anytime soon.
It may not be much but I can vote with my wallet.

I hope we get a demo on Astral Chain and more info on Daemon X Machina. The demo was a bit rough but the game has potential.

I haven't played the first one - it's on my backlog -, but it looks good in the trailer. I hope it runs well on Switch, though.
At the very least, the game's soundtrack will be godly with both David Wise and Grant Kirkhope composing.

It probably won't happen but it would be great if some of these were released as demos. Pokemon will probably have one down the line, though, since AS/OR had one.

Now this makes me happy. Keep the RPGs coming!

Basically, EA hasn't approved the resources for a port. So we're stuck with Fifa 19 at the moment.... Why doesn't that surprise me?

I’m sticking with Xenoblade Chronicles 2. The game is brilliant, I don’t want it to end. I should buy the DLC this week.

Considering all the issues the Switch has had with third party products I’ll stick with official stuff from Nintendo. I won’t risk my console.

Its great to see the Xenoblade series finally taking off, XC2 is a great game.

But to see that 1-2 Switch sold more than it should be some kind of crime.

I'll miss all the memes and gifs that appeared with Kimishima.

A bit more serious, though, they always said Kimishima would be a stop gap between Iwata and whoever came next, and he was what the company needed in terms of changing focus and reverting the losses from the Wii U.

That the new President was involved in the marketing part is auspicious, I wish him the best.

I never got it on the Wii U, but I would certainly love to get it on the Switch. It deserves better than to fade away into obscurity!

I'll keep playing Xenoblade Chronicles 2. I'm 75 hours in and in Chapter 6 by now, and I keep discovering new things.

This is brilliant, and a great way to get kids interesting in programming. It will be great to see if the kids have an interest and introduce them to the topic, before jumping to other more complex things.

Cute, but horribly impractical. That's a great way to lose the cartridge if it slips out of wherever you are keeping those little boxes.

I haven't played the demo, but while it seems a good game, I don't think it is worth $60 right now for me.

I'll wait for a sale.

Instead of blaming "violent" video games, simply assume the only place school shootings happen so frequently is the US and think what is the difference between them and the rest of the world.

I dislike games like Call of Duty, but going from dislike to implying that games like that will make you a psychopath is on another scale!
