I agree with him. It was a bummer when I was playing with my Wii U, but if I had to go traveling or if I just wanted to go to the living room and enjoy time with my family, I had to stop playing, and switch to the 3DS.
Now I can continue playing and I don't have to be tethered to my TV!

Why is everyone acting like this DLC means they're shipping an incomplete game?
Did Zelda ship unfinished, too, since it has a story DLC coming in the holidays?

I'll get the game (maybe not day one due to finances), and I'll enjoy it a lot. How many X-COM esque games do you have on Nintendo systems? Plus, it looks great.
Then, as many will do, I'll wait to see what's they offer in the new maps and story DLC before buying it next year.

Come on, it's an SNES game. You can't ask 60 fps from a 16 bit game from the 90's.
Plus, the ROMs that are on internet are quite weird if you play at 60 fps - the game wasn't made to play at those speeds.

Hmm. Depending on the contents of the soundtrack, if NoA releases this limited edition, I may get it.
I can't pass on a good soundtrack, I like having the physical CD as a backup. One of the reasons I cancelled my BotW limited edition was because the Sound Selection CD was a dissapointment.

If only Nintendo would start selling the OST here in the west... I would happily buy the physical versions, or the digital versions through ITunes.

Ugh, the voice acting is terrible. Both Camilla and Hinoka sounds horribly off. Let's hope we can play with Japanese voices and English subtitles.
I'll still get it, but the really need to fix the VA. The voice director isn't doing really well his job.

Haven't played yet, but I already have it downloaded. It's fantastic to finally see Sonic back in his element, and with brilliant gameplay.

Keep Sonic like this, Sega, and forget Sonic Forces exist, ok? That way you don't make the poor hedgehog suffer, and we don't keep laughing at Sonic Team.

For those wanting to get the game from the Russian eshop, there is one limitation - it seems it doesn't accept credit cards from either the US or Canada. Other countries shouldn't have a problem.

Well, Splatoon 2 will probably reach a million copies sold next week in Japan. I wouldn't be surprised if it reached two million or more in Japan alone, specially considering there are still those crazy queues for the lotteries.

Yeah, but at least Nintendo spent 4 years trying to support the Wii U. Sony America dropped support, what, 1-2 years in? And it received no games from Sony's main studios.

They could try a new handheld, but again, the studios focused on PS4 wouldn't touch it. And a handheld with PS4 level graphics (if that's possible) would eat its battery faster than the Switch with Zelda.

I dont think Sony will release a new portable - the Vita was a disaster for them in that área and burned a lot of goodwill people had.

It will be interesting to see how MH World does. Capcom is betting on it catching on with the western crowd to make up for the eastern market.
But if it doesn't do well, Capcom may find themselves in quite the problematic situation.

Nice to see some Square Enix support, now, the question is, will this come to the west or will we watch Japan jealously again, like with Dragon Quest Heroes I and II?

Nope. I'll just use my Wii U Pro or the Switch Pro Controller on the PC if I need.

I'd love a physical version for Switch. Sonic Mania looks excellent, and a true return to form for Sonic.

I loved the first season, and hope they release the second one soon. As for the retcon of Sypha not being in the church, I agree. Weird that a magician from the church would think about keeping company of an excommunicated man.

Who would think Animal Crossing is niche? Its one of the Best selling franchises in 3DS, and one of the Best selling franchises for non "hardcore" gaming segments, like women and children ñ.

Dragon Quest is serious business in Japan, it seems! 2 million sales is really insane.

Splatoon is no slouch either - It has been, what, two weeks since its release and its sitting on 750k. Maybe it will reach a million in Japan before a month!

Maybe I'll get Kirby 64 and the Amazing Mirror. I always wanted to play the first, and as for the second, I never got farther than the first stage, so it would be time to give Kirby its due.

I didn't have faith in the project, but I've come around. The game sounds awesome.

The game list is nice, the Switch has better support than the Wii U already. I probably get more games around Christmas or Black Friday - I don't need more for now with Zelda and Splatoon.

I'll stick with my Switch Pro Controller. It's ultra comfortable and has the gyro I need to play Zelda and Splatoon 2.

I don't use voice chat, but if I really needed to, I think I will use discord.

So many cables are a nightmare. It was necessary 15 years ago, but nowadays it's a pain.

And now that Female Robin is in, I don't think I'll use Male Robin unless it's mandatory. I hope she has fun dialogue with Chrom, their supports were hilarious.

The game looks excellent by now, I'll definitively get it. You can feel the team's dedication through the gameplay and interview.

I hope the game sells well, we need more crazy crossovers like this. And Ubisoft Milan deserves a prize for their hard work!

Interesting to see that they are still pushing the 3DS family. At this rate, it seems Nintendo will push the 3DS as their budget option versus the Switch.

Better yet... they should release the app worldwide. Not that hard, and you include all potential customers.

I'm annoyed that they lock so much stuff behing the figurines - I don't want more clutter in my house, so I just have 4 amiibo - 2 I bought, 2 I received as gifts.
They really should sell the content as DLC, at the very least.

If they sold amiibo as cards, I would be willing to collect them, since that doesn't take up so much space.

Nice to see they are incorporating western talent as well - it will be interesting to see where it leads.

The only thing we know for certain with Pokemon? It will be a Holiday title, as it has been for some time. So it will be either Holiday 2018 or Holiday 2019.
Let's hope Nintendo fixes the Switch's stock issues by then, because Japan will run en masse to buy a console to play Pokemon.

There is a big commercial day coming up here, and the retailers are pushing the Switch in a bundle due to its price.... But those bundles flew! They ran out of stock in less than a week.

If I'm lucky, I should get my console tomorrow (please, for the love of everything holy don't be out of stock....). Once Apple finishes getting the pieces for the Iphone 8 Nintendo should be able to ramp up production for Christmas. Let's hope they do - at the rate their are going, they will surpass the Wii U's total sales by the middle of next year.

"Cheap" and "Super Mario Odyssey" shouldn't go in the same phrase. Do you really think Nintendo will lose the chance to cash in at full price on their flagship title for this year, when even Zelda didn't have a bundle?

If there's a bundle for Christmas, it will be either Splatoon or Arms, to push the multiplayer side.

Wow, Splatoon is truly on fire in Japan. I wonder what the lifetime sales will be, once the Switch's supply isnt as constrained as it is now.

I need to find a good battery to replace my GBA's battery. I got a cheap knock off from China and it hasn't really worked....

The GBA, for me, was the golden age for Nintendo handhelds. So many good games, you got some remakes from SNES games, and other original IPs like Golden Sun. Plus, the best versions of Mario Tennis and Mario Golf.

Another company trying to ride on the success of Nintendo's initiative? I know these consoles have been around for a long time, but its truly a throwback to the 90's that they're using the popularity of Nintendo to push their products.
Probably they're hoping to get people that can't buy the SNES Mini to buy their products.

Day one for me! I'm an RPG fan, and while I haven't played Setsuna yet, I'm in the middle of playing the Bravely series, and will need more game to scratch that itch once I'm finished!

The first point they should adress, even before fixing the app.... is making the app available WORLDWIDE.
Its an insult as a costumer that if I want to use the damn app I have to download it as an apk since Nintendo can't use a bloody map and see that America has more country than the freaking US, Canada and Mexico!
Latin America STILL doesn't have any support!!

Or we won't and Nintendo will move completely to mobile. Who knows? I mean, Nintendo home consoles haven't lit the market on fire lately and they have said they won't compete directly with MS and PS, so there isn't a PS4 level console in the works.

Anyway, I don't condone piracy, but hacking itself isn't bad. People root their phones all the time, and playing my GC games on the Wii U isn't bad either. Piracy is another thing altogether and guys that incentive that, and actively use it, should rot.

It's weird that they updated it now... one would think they are more worried about avoiding exploits on the Switch.

What a shame. I never used it actively, but it was nice to drop in every once in a while and see the doodles.

Once it shuts down, the Wii U will truly be dead.
