I'm probably in the minority, but I prefer that they stick with the Switch as it is. I hate the upgrade every two years model with the phones and I really hope it doesn't appear with consoles.

Unless it is a minor thing like the new 3DS, but if it is a big difference simply move to the Switch 2.

Hype! The games looks wonderful, and the gameplay is fantastic. We need more turn based RPGs on the Switch, the system is perfect for them.

....And if Square wants to bring Kingdom Hearts while they are at it, I'll certainly won't complain!

I think I'll pass. The single mode seems more like a mission mode than an RPG mode, which was the bread and butter of the Mario sports games for me.

Definitively getting this one! I remember playing the first Crash on my cousins' PS1, so this a great chance to play the trilogy - and portable, no less! It was expected due to all the rumors, but it is still great news.

Never played Dark Souls, so it will be a good time to try it out. And get killed multiple times while trying it out.

Ugh, I wanted it for the Switch.... Hope this means the rumored Luigi's Mansion 3 is in development for Switch. Never could finish the GC one, so I guess this means my 3DS is coming out of retirement.

I hope we get info on the story mode on Aces - it is for me the breaking point on whether to buy the game or not.

It's a rip off. The only thing it will be somewhat useful is to reedeem coins when I want to buy DLC for games, to make it a bit cheaper, but apart from that it really is worth nothing.

Even the discounts are better than this, and the discounts are terrible. I miss Club Nintendo, I should have gotten those Nintendogs Greeting Cards before it closed down...

I'll stick with physical until the end, thank you very much. My GB cartridges still haven't run out of battery and if I have any problems there are plenty of tutorials to fix them so I can keep playing them 20 years down the road. I replay Mario Golf GBA almost yearly, and I've had it for a good ten years or more.

The risk of simply losing things in an all digital future is big, and I don't want to worry about losing games or other stuff if it suddenly gets taken down. Same deal with music and movies from online services. I still like having OSTs in physical format if I can!

A Switch mini without detachable joycons is moronic considering the joycons are the very logo of the console.
A Switch Pro with better specs is impossible on portable format considering it will eat the battery in even less than three hours.

I won't complain. I don't really care about graphics and the 4K craze that exists now.

Having the Wii U abandoned so quickly and having to spend on a new console did hurt a bit. I hate short cycles, and the way they tend to make you spend hundreds of dollar every couple of years. I upgraded my phone a couple of year ago and I'm no rush to get a new one.

These are fantastic games, and they totally worth playing!

Play 1 first, then play 2, and then replay 1. Having played 2 totally changes your perspective on the story of 1, but at the same time, 2 builds of the story of 1.

Well, it is good they are aiming high. No one in my social circle has a Switch, but I'm quite satisfied with it.

I haven’t downloaded FE Heroes since Nintendo insists on ignoring that Latin America exist, and using an APK is extremely annoying since you have to update it manually.

Going with Nvidia was the right move for Nintendo. It allowed them to have up to date hardware, and gave us gamers the chance of BotW on a portable hardware.

I hope they keep partnering together in the future for the next console!

I haven’t picked up Xenoblade 2 yet, it will be great to play it with all these improvements!

Would be great! I remember playing Crash when I was a child - never got far in the game, though. I’d love the chance to retry it on my Switch.

I'll keep playing Super Mario Odyssey. I already beat the main story, and I'm trying to get all the extra moons and beat the extra worlds. I have fun times ahead, I truly adore this game. I don't want it to end!

It could be a pretty neat way to get kids interesting in programming and all the STEM things - on a beginners's level, of course. I don't see this keeping the kids attention if they want to move on to something a bit more complex.
I do think it is gonna be a hit among parents.

Turbo was a godsend for some games instead of just mashing the button, so not including it is a pretty big oversight for me.

Still 30% off? Sigh. I prefer trying to get good deals in Black Friday or in other moments for the games that have a physical version.

They'll keep Labo as something focused for smaller children, versus the big hitters for the hardcore audience, and I honestly don't see the problem. Nintendo has always sought to appeal to everyone. Not eveything needs to appeal to the "gamer" crowd.
Specially, we need changes in the PC crowd, since all the "gamer" things are so damn tacky...

I'm really happy about Xenoblade being a million seller in a month! Finally, Monolith Soft is out of niche status.

If they release the patch, I may wait for analysis on how it improves something before I buy it, because on how is it now, it is a hard pass. A shame, since it was a good idea on paper.

Yeah, but Disney will put a limit to, at the very least, not get authority calling them a “Star Wars themed casino” and investigate them at a federal level.

My only hope for this to be real is that Disney could take the Star Wars license from EA and give it to someone who won’t make a micro transaction, loot box filled mess.

Haven’t finished Bravely Default yet, but so far I like the game, so Octopath Traveler is something I’m interested in when it releases. I’ll never say no to what it seems to be a good old school RPG!

We will probably see the return of the portable subseries, at least for Japan. I don’t think Capcom wants to leave money on the table by not releasing something for the growing Switch userbase, but the success of MHW means the main series will continue on the PS4, so the best bet would be a portable, tailor experience for Switch.

..... Or I could be dead wrong and Capcom decided that Switch development wasn’t worth the risk, and we won’t see anything. There is always a chance of that too.

I do think this will be a hit with kids. They should try to demo it somehow, with a road show for example, because I'll bet this is the same as the Switch - you have to try to enjoy it. And according to Damien it seems good.

While I'm personally not interesting, I can see it appealing to the younger demographic, children that are still in the time of discovering and imagining here, or for people that may be enthusiast. Specially for children it is a nice way of replacing "casual" games, and giving them more options. Plus, it allows them to play with everyone - expanding AR - than isolating them with VR.

Other point in favor is that it takes advantage of all the ecological movement that has taken force lately. Cardboard is far more ecological friendly that a bunch of wires.

In my opinion it is. It perfects everything from Mario 64, and corrects a lot of mistakes from Sunshine like that bloody camera. It doesn’t mean the other games are bad, but at least, for me, Odyssey stands at the top with its detail and the different way to get the moons. For some are bloats, but I’ve have fun getting them!
