Got six games for Black Friday, and today I'm playing A Short Hike! Hopefully it lives up to expectations.

I'm saving the will of my parents to buy me stuff, aka my money, until Black Friday. Then I'm gonna restock!

I literally just beat the original three months ago or so, so needless to say I don't want to immediately play it AGAIN! However, I have spoiled myself instead by looking at the leaks, and without spoiling anything, YOU'RE IN FOR A TREAT.
Also the soundtrack is a bop.

I've finally found a way to work through my backlog. It's called the Wheel of Suffering! The first game I got was Mario Bros 3, so that's what I'm playing!

It's only good if you consider it a PSA against drunk driving and bad games. So it still isn't good.

In all seriousness, I see what you're getting at. I will say it is a bit nostalgia fueled, but the point still stands: modern Marios are easier. However, there is a good reason to remove the "send back to the beginning of the world after a game over" feature: it doesn't lead to anything new. You're just playing the same level over again. Yes, you get more practice, but after a while you go from mastering a level to just playing it over and over as you fail to beat one boss (cough cough, Mega Man). Also, there are collectibles, and being forced to collect them every single time would be a nightmare.

Already got the game preordered. Going to pop by GameStop after school to grab it!

Mario Kart: HOW

I want Detective Pikachu, but it comes out in four days (wow already!?) and I don't want to take on anything too long so I'm ready for Mario Wonder. Although, Wario Land 3 may not be the best substitute... (like Wario, it kinda stinks).

So far, here's my opinion: the controls are meh, the AI's are indeed annoying, some puzzles are impossible without two players at least, but besides that, great game so far.

Finally going to give this game a try. My friend will play it with me! I just hope there's some way to deal with the other two kirbys... (kirbies? I'm not sure.)
