Cool. Loved Vampire Survivors, but probably won't get this right away, since I'm REALLY bad at deckbuilders. Recently got Slay the Spire (the original) to learn, and Inscryption will act as my exam. Until then, I'll just wait till the next update to VS.

@cyrus_zuo I'm pretty sure there are accessibility options to make things easier. Personally, I was able to do everything except the final boss, and by that point I had already discovered... lets just say, an alternative path. Eventually I just looked up a strat to cheese the final boss. Could probably do it now without cheese, but still.

It was going to be Silksong... but then I got back into Vampire Survivors. It's now my second most played Switch game of all time, barely beating out SNES classics and being massively eclipsed by Mario Maker 2 (which I have 300 hours in. Somehow)

After a long post-Silksong hiatus (and a frankly tragic attempt at Inscryption), I'm finally back to playing games! Currently trying to work my way through all the new Vampire Survivors content.

@SirLink Going off of that, I'm going to do some quick maths.
84% of Switch 2 players transitioned from Switch 1. If Switch 2 has sold 10.36 units, and assuming units pair 1:1 with users, then 10.36 * 0.84 = around 8.7024 million Switch 1 users who switched to Switch 2. Dividing by the 154 million Switch 1 users, we get 8.7024 / 154 = around 0.0565, or around a 5.65% turnover rate. Not bad all things considered.

@jake1421 You know, now that you mention it, I DO seem to like bullet-hell shmups. There's that one Game Builder Garage game someone made (which I wish was a full game), and Star Wasps was one of my favorite games in the UFO 50 collection (even if I wasn't good at it). Actually, I might just like bullet hells (Cuphead and JSAB are some of my personal favorites, and I'll always have fond memories of PA). Once the two games on my backlog screaming to be played are done, and I'm looking for new games, I should take that into account.

Personally, I'm inclined to believe that this patent is just to protect the autobattle feature from Scarlet and Violet. Not good by any means, but not a complete catastrophe. Then again, I'm no legal expert (and I highly doubt anyone in this comments section is either), so I'll wait for an actual lawyer to give his two cents (maybe a few lawyers, just to account for political biases).

I've been having fun. It's been hard, but not unmanagable.
