What I really love about Switch releases getting games released later than other platforms is that they, for the most part, get all content included and sometimes system exclusive items. Big fan of their procurement team or whoever helps them achieve this.

Alright I'm just gonna go out and say it: Capcom build a real MegaMan life-size robot with it's own voice that you upgrade for decades like the real MegaMan would. Gundam did something similar!

Artificial Nintendo shortage or underestimating success like Animal Crossing?

@ShadLink that's a good move. I picked up a PC a few months ago once it was clear Microsoft cares more about PC than Xbox so I can have the power & games library in addition to my existing hardware. Steam machine has me interested

@ShadLink Sony is in that sweet spot, may have to pick up my first PS in a few generations next time around. Switch 2 is in a good spot though selfishly wish it was more powerful or they launched a powered up non-handheld console for those that want better frames / resolutions

@Shepdawg1 meanwhile good ol Nintendo focuses on optimizing the experience for it's hardware, I love Nintendo's approach. Xbox has had hard power for 25 years that's almost never benefitted it anywhere, especially alongside PlayStation. With all exclusives going to Sony and Nintendo I am officially done with Xbox.

As a major fan of Xbox with the swag and games to prove it, Series X was my last generation. I'm not going to support the brand anymore, they fumbled after great start this gen & Series X has been my favorite console but I can't support a new Xbox CEO with zero gaming industry experience with ulterior motives for AI in games. I would consider picking up the Steam Box though, Valve is in a much better place for hardcore gamers imo

All of these games will be for sale for $60-75 total by end of the year. Capcom does such great sales, they'll have 7 & 8 at $10-20 soon enough. Requiem will drop to $40. I bought the "physical" and was disappointed by the quality so returned it but I really wanted it on my shelf

There's flexibility to do whatever you want, it's an RPG end of the day. Be a senior or a newb, that's what I like Pokemon. I do wish they changed up battles to fight with total random sets of new Pokemon capped at 50 with RNG on move pool. Would help avoid the sweats online

My Generations Pack came damaged so returned it with no replacements available. Such a bummer. The quality was also not that good, mostly cheap cardboard paper that was torn in a couple of spots & physical gaming shops in Europe are pretty much non existent 😭 such a cool trilogy to release, happy for the big numbers this is doing!

Wow! Few cool things to point out. PROPS to Evercade for getting in the Top 30! Love what the CEO and company have done with physical releases, carts and general fun focus on games. Second, Xbox is disappointing across the board, Mortal Kombat may as well just drop Xbox at this point.

The Starfield-vision moment for Pokemon, I hope visiting those dozens to hundreds of islands is fun and not too repetitive. Hoping them all the best as I had big hopes last gens so extra dev time for 60-120fps is well worth the wait if they can pull it off

They should just give Nintendo Treehouse to Alex and Nintendo Life, let's be honest here.

I used to love Nintendo Minute with Kit and Krysta, I met them in person and they were great people. Very nerdy and Nintendo-y

@libersolis this would be great if it runs smoothly. I know they use the game as a benchmark on PC so hope it can run clearly and smoothly. I recently played Sonic Racing (not cross worlds) and it looked absolutely terrible at 30 fps on Switch 2 so fingers crossed Wilds can run well!

Oh how I would love to blow cash on these 😭 shame it's not launching elsewhere. Maybe I have to fly to Japan just to pick two up and resell one for my flight cost? 🧠

Can Nintendo Life please make a timeline with releases of this series? I own Ys Lacrimosa and have no clue or idea where any of these games sit on a timeline. Sure I can look it up but NL is my main place for this info on Switch

I would love a top down re-release of the game with Square Enix's HD-2D remix. New pixel art, updated bit music and a rework of the colors and I'll be very happy. I don't need a full 3D environment which if they did I would fully want them to just recreate the full anime with awesome graphics and cutscenes. But that's just me

Can we make it a thing to just say the "plus 5" version instead of "Switch 2" version? Ridiculous tax for games we already paid for.

@Rainz they definitely offer improved models, look at the New 3DS. That's an opinion but I don't need your help managing my own expectations. We ARE the market!

Yay! Free upgrades. This should be standard. More people will buy the game just with an update or a sale like Red Dead

@Sindayl I think it's dumb to have a Switch 2 tax on top of the Switch 1 tax. Resolution enhancements should be free or maybe, MAYBE, $1 more. Crazy how they're charging for $5-10 upgrade packs everywhere.

Dang about to pass what took Xbox 6 years, in 2 years. The "this is an Xbox" campaign straight wrecked their brand. Happy for Nintendo offering something unique, fun and physical!

Online shopping has wrecked retail and the best chance retro game stores have in the long run are mom and pop shops with rare games and a large enough market. I'm a fan of Book Off or Game Off. They do it right!

I was gonna drop $100 on the Resident Evil Collection pack but they're all $10 consistently (except for Requiem) and they're all digital so I'll just wait for the inevitable excellent Capcom sales to pick these three up. Game Key Cards are trash, at least you can play a game for 2 weeks offline for it before checking in with your digital overlords to play these.

Hey Nintendo sold me on 720p HD being enough back in the 2000s so I am definitely spoiled when I have 4K 120+ FPS options. Still 60fps at 1080p is great.

This would've hardly moved copies. It was a cool game but Prince of Persian is not exactly a big franchise, Assassins Creed took all the cool potential of PoP and Ubisoft is better keeping this as an indie esque platformer. Franchise is not AAA
