@WallyWest I am pretty sure that guy did see a therapist and was diagnosed with it. I genuinely feel a bit sick watching the fatalities at their current state. PTSD isn't very hard to get, you still have the choice to play it, I'm just saying I can't really handle it. Like that show Invincible on Amazon Prime? I am still disturbed by that first episode where all those heroes get totally murked. If you showed the stuff we see to people 100 years ago, we would be totally desensitized to intense violence in comparison. Ehh but I still like fighting games & other games with gore, MK11 just goes way ott for me

Yeah this game will look bad but at least it should have some good writing. Maybe will pick it up physical on sale or used so I can sell it if I dislike it, did that for the spinoff Travis Strikes again

This game is honestly too brutal for me to play anymore, which is ironic because I love Doom Eternal and the Resident Evil Remakes. I read how the staff had PTSD after researching the gore for this version of MK 11 (probably have done it for others)

I have some great games: Samus Returns, Metroid, Ocarina of Time, Majoras Mask, 5 OG Zelda games, Pokemon Moon, Pokemon Red, Devilish Brain Training & Monster Hunter Ultimate. I really wanted to get a bunch of physical titles but I think Nintendo did a poor job communicating during their investor meetings always saying "we will support the 3DS for the foreseeable future as an entry point for younger gamers blah blah". If I knew tzey would stop producing titles like DK Country 3D or Star Fox 3D, I would've been more hesitant getting the system. In this case regarding cheaper prices for an older consoles games, getting 3DS games physically is either the same price or more expensive, digital sales are pretty good though. I hope they lift the region lock (probably not) on the systems as I'd love to pick up some extra titles in Europe & Japan. It's a great system and I just wish Nintendo gave it more support instead of leaving it on life support

Man they can keep producing for the 3DS, maybe some smaller tier games or remakes of older 2D titles. I just got my New 3DS in 2017 so it feels like I threw my money at a loser system even though it had a ton of great games on it. Here's hoping those games transfer to their new handheld

Oh yeah, I noticed the new character on the Joycon, its Drift the Fairy Elf! If you play the game 20 hours, all controls reverse permanently, not locked behind an amiibo either. Really handy feature of the new joy con reprints

Waiting for just the OLED model with no dock at $199?

Xbox Series X is probably my favorite home console I've ever owned from a consumer perspective. Love the games, game pass is super affordable, love the performance, love the Controller and the loading times are absolutely insane!! Switch is my favorite handheld & these two make a great pair. All the Bethesda games & EA play games are also really good. I'll eventually get a PS5 when it is 1) smaller and 2) more affordable with more memory. The games are just so expensive, it's a huge turn off. With Xbox SX I can play my old Star Wars Battlefront 2 disc from the OG Xbox and Left 4 Dead for my 360 & download a bunch of old school games with free enhancements at cheap prices. Anyway. Great time to be a gamer

Not gonna lie that read like an 8. I think some of those criticisms on a non-Zelda game would've dropped the score. Overall, great review and insights into how this compares to the Wii.

@Pirate1 RE1 is great. If you have a PS4 / Xbox One or their next gen variants, I'd highly recommend the REmake of Resident Evil 2 then work your way around the series. I just beat RE2 on my Series X and bought resident evil 0 & both revelations games today because I loved it so much

Sell just the screen, no dock, no straps and no joycons. Don't even need to include a power cable like the New 3DS XL. They will move even crazier amounts of units then.

The game & watch item is overstocked EVERYWHERE. Amazon even cut it down to €40. Such a grossly overpriced item that can be easily obtained on NSO or through emulation or $5 on the DS / Wii U. It's a cheap, overpriced toy. I really like the Super Mario 3D collection and SM35 was super fun. It's always hit or miss with Nintendo on pricing

If I revisit why I think the price is high is because Metroid Prime IV will be the same price. Obviously the price is going to be what the company is going to price it at and what people will pay for it. It's $60 but to the point in the video, we can wait for a sale, still think 50 would've been sweet. Hope some tie in exists with MP4 to add some extra value to it

@VoidofLight I'm also a Pokemon fan, completed my Dex for Sword & Shield. I just expect more from the largest entertainment franchise on Earth, especially after spending years of my life & money on the Pokemon franchise. I actually just bought SMT IV and I'm looking forward to SMT V too. It's not so bad comparing games with the same hardware limitations on the same console. Didn't mean to upset you, but c'mon, this game looks GREAT!

Castlevania as a 3D over the shoulder survival game would be TIGHT!!! It could be a mix of a non-Belmont exploring the Castle, solving puzzles and some action sequences with bits that tie into a 2D reboot made by another Konami team

Just picked up MH Rise yesterday during the prime sale for $38, looking forward to SMT V, Metroid Dread (because I'm a slave to the franchise), Cruisin, Project Triangle Strategy, Splatoon 3, and keeping my wary eyes on No More Heroes 3, Pokemon Arceus and Monkey Ball. Advanced wars for $60 or emulators of the originals for $30?? Ehh. Glad the franchise is rebooted, more excited for the prospect of a new AW entry than this overpriced testing-of-the-waters version of the game. Great time for Nintendo!!! On a separate note, really looking forward to Psyconauts 2, Halo Infinite, Forza Horizon 5 and Back 4 Blood!!!!

Man we all know they're just going to repackage the original Animal Crossing, add DX to the title, make it 480p for HD visuals which reviewers will say is "gorgeous" or "breathtaking", charge full price and not provide DLC just like Super Mario Party, right? Duh! Get with the program. Would be cool if they just keep throwing on content and new buildings of course, an extra 8x8 space of island, more beach. Lots of possibilities

If this launces for $60 will the reviewer dock points for it or add points for the price? Not sure how pricing affects reviews anymore for non-first party games. Still sour over advance wars reboot camp and the mario party remake launching at $60 ! While 3rd party devs are expected to launch at lower price points. Wah, think I'm becoming a troll after that e3 direct 😭😭

Look at the Bloodstained series for a better comparison than Hollow Knight, that game also did not come in topping $60 and the amount of support and additional free DLC from Iga who helped create the Castlevania series will most likely not be the same for Dread. Still better to wait for a sale for the standard edition. The special edition better justifies its price point. $49 would've been a sweet spot but Nintendo for sure makes the best profit decisions for it's games out there. Ori is another good comparison for dev time, quality and graphics. Fair arguments here & nothing us gamers will say will result in a lower price so the $60 price tag obviously wins!

Honestly it's a waste of time preordering games unless they're special edition. The physicals almost always go on sale on Amazon or large retailers for 5-20% below preorder price. You're paying an anxiety fee for the most part otherwise for standard editions

The game definitely looks good in comparison to the N64 but to other games showcased during E3 on next gen consoles? It....is...acceptable 😏 still wish this was paid DLC
