This is exactly why I cancelled my preorder for the Monster Hunter consile edition. Somebody posted here saying that nintendo would print decals on current models to clear old inventory before a launch of a new Pro model and I completely agree that makes sense. So cancelled my MH Switch console preorder in the hopes we get an upgrade to Pro soon!!!

@JayJ I've got a Lite and my hands get sore after playing any button mashers, fighting games or tight platformers like the Messenger. I probably played WAY too many games on it last year which has led to some pain. Much better D-pad on the hori split pad pro imo, more comfortable for me. I would agree the screen is much better on the Lite! I'll give it a try soon on the Lite, why not, that's a good tip. Worse case if it hurts I just swap right back.

Play this on a split pad pro attachment for the Switch then bump the score up to 9. It's great! Definitely agree the UI is holding it back, hope the Collection fixes / addresses those issues

I bought Match of the Millennium but may have held out for this one. Wish they were more transparent earlier on! MotM id great, so only complaint is I could've received even more games in one 😂

Have been wanting this game FOREVER, even beat the spinoff game. Tbh graphics don't look very good for 2021, looked really choppy, hope we get a demo to see how it holds up. Daemon X Machina looked good until the demo showed real gameplay, which ultimately turned me off from the purchase & saved me $60. Here's hoping for the best!

@RadioHedgeFund those are my thoughts for a lot of these 😆 saved me a comment. I think they'll end on Zelda's 35th anniversary celebrations starting in April and announce SM Galaxy 2 as one of the final b-day presents for Mario's 35th.. let's see! More Rockstar gamed would be AMAZING

Saving all money on ports and new releases for the inevitable PS5 / Xbox Series purchase I'll be making. I almost got AC Black Flag on Switch but remembered I bought it on Xbox like 4+ years ago so it's just waiting there in the cloud for me. Plus 4K and 60 FPS does sound nice when I already have Overcooked 2 on Switch

Coming to the end of an era! Like 90s beat em ups and shmups before they fell out of (temporary) style. Looking forward to the inevitable rogue lite renaissance in the 2040s. So many good rogue lites the past few years! Starting to get a bit tired of the genre & excited to see what develops this decade

Oh YES! Absolutely LOVED this game. Really great and adds to the canon of the overall universe. Hope online multiplayer comes with the package. Amazing amazing game!

Loved this game when I beat it during the summer/ fall last year. Lots of new content and doing a playthrough with Zangetsu every now and then. Amazing game, sorry to the people that got burned in the beginning but glad I waited a while for the game to reduce in price. Helps always having a back catalogue!

Started with MH Generations on 3DS and put 15 hours into just tutorials with all of the weapons and then did a few quests. It hurt my hands tbh so didn't touch it for YEARS. But after picking it up on 3DS again late last year after seeing the MH Rise trailer, I opted for the Switch version and absolutely loved the game and dove straight into a ton of quests. Agree there's a big curve to the game. Once you manage to level up a bit and focus on combos, craft new weapons and armor for you and your Felynes, then it becomes addicting. I really got into the MH Generations companion app on my phone to find some items, so glad they included a lot of search functionality into Rise. Huge fan of the franchise now and pre-ordered the MH pro controller too hehe. Would recommend this game to anyone with the caveat that it will get much better after you beat a few of the entry quests and do a few tutorials

I started the game but barely made it out of the first area where you have to head to town. Guess I missed this entire genre having been on consoles for years now. It's cool I guess but not going to be picking up more games in the genre

Just cancelled mz MH Rise Switch console pre-order. Must be crazy to think I'd want that over a PS5 or Xbox Series which would cost the same (or less). I own a launch Switch and a Switch Lite so really gave into my consumer urges for a while there!

I don't think my hands can take another indie action platformer or metroidvania. After having beaten Hollow Knight, Hyper Light Drifter, Curse of the Moon 1+2, Bloodstained, Shovel Knight, and a bunch of others my hands are straight broken!! Ordered the split pad pro so hope that helps my poor hands out! Then can revisit this at the inevitable June games sales

They just need to release a Switch 2 that is more powerful and backwards compatible with Switch 1. Then developers can release on either the new platform or the old one. Kind of like Gameboy Advance with gameboy games or New 3DS with DS cartridges. They don't even have to release it for another 2 years to be honest.

Nintendo just needs to reprint their game boys and old cartridges. Probably super cheap to produce both, licensing could take a while, but they'd sell like hotcakes. They can be "dumb devices" with no connectivity required and they would STILL sell a bunch. Adding a region free eShop would obviously be nice & could tie in with the Switch too. TAKE MY MONEY!!!

A pro model could have Docked performance in handheld mode, with 2K or 4K upscaling in Docked mode (with downloads necessary). Doesn't have to be much more. What would make this really GREAT is if the new Pro joy cons worked and weren't pieces of crap that drift all the time haha. But yeah, more comfortable, ergonomic joycons with a D-pad would be AMAZING!!

Such am awesome deal for the Castlevania Collection! Absolutely loved playing it & would recommend anybody that loves metroidvanias to pick this up. $5 bucks is a no-brainer!

Picked up Good Job on sale and having a ton of fun with that. Also in my first couple of hours with FF VII & playing through some Super Mario Odyssey. Having a hard time with FF VII graphics, doesn't hold up very well in 2021 but the story is fun so far.

@sanderev this would be great! I have been playing it on Stadia & it runs nicely. Gotta get my Stadia controller soon since my Pro Controller has some minor latency issues

Im coming to the conclusion I am not the biggest fan of Mario games after getting the Super Mario 3D all-stars collection. I like the games but for some reason they don't truly click for my tastes. I do think Super Mario Odyssey is actually great & am exception for me, but overall I have found out I am not a big fan of 3D platforming as a genre. Sorry to disappoint. The confessions of a hardcore gamer 😭

Such a good game.. immediately impressed jumping from MH Generations to this. Looks VERY impressive! Can't wait for this, sad I missed the Collector's Edition pre-order
