Definitely picking this game up, a highlight from E3 for me personally! The performance issues can likely be solved via a patch. Can't wait to pick this bad boy up!

Kind of a weird money grab charging for this. I prefer DLC to be some type of gameplay expansion or at the very least, have the abilitu to grind for a unique item

This game has had more support than most games on the market & more substantial than DS system updates too let him focus on other things

This was honestly a huge highlight from Gamescom. Can't wait to play as Blade! I have him as a Mii Fighter if you ever see him on Super Smash Bros Ultimate 🤣

@The-Chosen-one try the demo out first if you get a chance! Would say it is a bit grindier than Octopath so if you're not a fan of the demo, save that money for the inevitable Octopath Traveler sequel

This game was easily as equally good, not better or worse, as Octopath traveler (to stick with the the comments above)

Changes to keep the game up: make it a robot, change the outfit color, change the grappling beam to silver grappling hook, change color scheme in general, work for Nintendo. Simple XD this super sucks for that team

@EliteXeos I didn't say it was. We don't need to defend gamefreak is my point. They're capable of much more, they're not an indie dev. Looking at their audience they don't need cutting edge graphics but it sure as hell would be nice! I am buying there stuff anyway

Gamefreak doesn't have the courage or the will to push graphical limits like this. I still love their games but we can't defend them forever

Won't buy it myself but I do buy emulation devices sometimes, who knows, might actually make a few video games fans out of this that buy a proper console down the road. I have PTSD after the Wonderful 101 campaign..it was €40 Plus shipping plus VAT and other tariffs and rather than receive the copies pre-retail launch had a massive delay and saw the game go on sale in stores for €30 by the time i finally got it from Kickstarter. Anyway, this game looks cool. Digital wishlist

I can't wait to plug 100+ hours to it while feeling mildly disappointed at the graphics and complaining about it here in 8 months

Game pass is a life saver! $25 for this game on Switch or $1 for 3 months of Gamepass with this and 100+ other exclusive next gen titles, indie games (also on switch) and new releases. No brainer for the gamepass option, then I can decide if it deserves a purchase & where I want to play it after spending some initial time with the title

What would you do if I told you your physical games are just digital games downloaded to a cartridge or CD that can't be redownloaded again. That all video games on modern consoles are in fact, digital.

Switch produces more physical copies of it's games than both Sony & MSFT, so I feel these lists are kind of skewed if trying to communicate the best selling titles overall. I get this is for physical copies only but can be misleading as well. Absolutely fantastic achievement for Nintendo! I wish Xbox had more physical copies of their indie games (Death's Door especially) because I would gobble those up.

Ahh yeah. Will definitely pick this up on Xbox haha. Awesome for Switch to have it, let's see how high that tax is and may get it here too

I want to really like Arceus.. please Pokemon company don't launch a POS. I hope they release a game in the future aimed more towards adults that played these games as kids. The franchise is big enough to allow space for something a little more mature and difficult.

Honestly, they could add an USBC to HDMI port on the bottom or add the ability to cast to a TV and they'd be doing numbers. I'm surprised they dont move to a Nintendo Stick or Nintendo App for TVs that allow you to save some games locally or do some cloud gaming, their library is perfect for that given graphics fidelity isn't super high and they wouldn't stream at 4K. You could sync any type of controller with that set up e.g. joycon, pro controller

@Bobarino wouldn't mind some Persona or Shin Megami on there. Fingers crossed!

Tbh I hope the Series S takes off. GamePass has Lumines, Katamari Damacy, Undertale, Dragon Quest XI, multiple Final Fantasy games, the Yakuza series, Hadee, Hollow Knight, a ton of indies, Resident Evil, cloud gaming and a bunch of Western games people can dabble and try out. It's a great companion to the Switch and super tiny. Doesn't look like it'll hit huge numbers but I hope it does. Anyway, as you were!

Starting to hit that plateau, but it still has another 3 years ahead of it at least before Switch 2 comes in to ride the tide

@Maximumbeans , yeah that makes sense. It was a good thing the story and gameplay were solid but felt a few more finishing touches on audio quality and graphics would've made it that much better

@TheFrenchiestFry this would be great. With a microsd card and eShop. You can kind of get this with emulators like the Pocket Go which is available now for like $40 and comes with the ability to play original Gameboy to Advanced titles, SNES, NES, wish it was easy to access and not locked behind ROMs

I wish the graphics were even better, I loved the game in my 70+ hours with it but really felt like the graphics were lacking for 2019 compared to other major Nintendo releases.

Capcom is the best in the game right now. Absolutely love what they're doing with their IP and the game quality is superb

DQ XI is a great RPG to pick up and play over time. They always remind you of events and where you are in the story & the overall game plays like a big season of an anime, very fun!
