Re: Rumour: Seth Rogen Will Apparently Star In A Solo Donkey Kong Movie

Kilamanjaro

I know that Miyamoto and Nintendo had to just go through so many blunts with the actors hired for this movie 😂 they honestly picked some of the funniest, best potheads in the industry & I cannot WAIT to see them together in this movie. Not that I'm encouraging that to anyone, this is a family friendly site. Just stoked for the cast & crew, really excited to see what they make together!

Re: Video: Pokémon Brilliant Diamond And Shining Pearl Treated To New Commercial

@CasualNintendonite yeah same, I have the limited edition for Sword & Shield and have the limited edition coming for Pearl & Diamond. I'll try to pick up Monster Crown which seems to target the adult demographic a bit better, but it won't be the same. Hope they release a Pokemon with Red as an adult with some strong base Pokemon that takes place 20-30 years after the first game & doesn't hold your hand too much

Re: Nintendo To Restock Switch Online N64 Controllers In 2022 (North America)

This controller is probably the best Switch accessory I have. I received it earlier last week & was finally able to get Captain Falcon into Elite Smash using it. The muscle memory from when I was a kid came rushing back. I've been trying to get Captain Falcon to Elite smash for nearly 3 years, taking him up every couple of months with my pro controller and giving up. I can happily say I took him from 4.5 million GSP to 9.6 million in less than 7 days. Super happy with this controller purchase, perfect for SSBU and even a few shmups

Re: Talking Point: How Many Hours Is A 'Short' Game For You?

Kilamanjaro

12 is right about that barrier for me, can beat those type of games in a week which I consider the Maximum of short. Anything below is a short game, medium for me is 12-25 and beyond that are longer games that push that 30 hour threshold. RPGs would be different though.. short RPG would be under 30 hours, medium 30-60, with 60+ being those epics that deserve the time.

Re: Random: Uh-Oh, Nintendo's Switch Online 'Expansion Pack - Overview Trailer' Is Generating A Lot Of Dislikes

@Screen you can pick up a Nintendo 64 in fairly good condition for around €70-90. Extra controller is about €15-20. Games range between €10-50. Not saying it's super cost effective to recreate the library they are offering but for less than €200 you could get a nice selection of games & original hardware and own them for a reasonable price instead of rental. My buddy and I just picked one up for those prices 2 weeks ago and were playing WCW vs nWo World Tour and Mario kart for under €120 an hour later (N64, extra controller, 3 games). Plus I got Golden Eye for €25 hehe.

Re: Random: Uh-Oh, Nintendo's Switch Online 'Expansion Pack - Overview Trailer' Is Generating A Lot Of Dislikes

It's a rip off. I have paid $60 for 3 years so far & only use online for SSBU. I have played some of the NES SNES stuff, probably 15 hours total. So to ask me to pay $150 for another 3 years in crazy, especially when it doesn't translate into substantially morr games. For $180 for 3 years on Xbox or PS Plus you'd get rougly 108-180 games (3-5 games per month) plus a ton of discounts on other select games / early access. Whereas here I'd get to own no games, they're all over 20 years old and I'd get some DLC I could get for $25. It's a rip off, will maybe consider it 2-3 years from now when they have added substantially more titles

Re: Poll: What Do You Think Of The Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack Price?

Kilamanjaro

Can you guys allow cursing for this comment section just for today? Have ad it up to here with Nintendo for scamming us with Switch taxes for games, rarely discounting first & 3rd party, making us repurchase eShop titles from previous generations, hardly upgrading ports & hardware updates, and not improving online multiplayer connectivity or having voice chat. But then again, I enjoy playing in handheld mode...
