I've got a photo here, thought it would be a lot bigger! The neighborhood itself is rather quiet, it's near a big river and you can bike to some nearby Torii gates.

That's a shame, these two were great. I remember being in the Smash Ultimate episode they had at Comic Con 2018. Got beat early on but have since grinded my way to Elite Smash after that defeat. They were super nice in person & Bill Trinen was there too. Interested to see what they do next at Nintendo or elsewhere.

@FRED_KID not sure to be honest man, it's just a derogatory term for Native Americans and other indigenous groups so that's why I say it's outdated. I mean there's even an episode of Seinfeld about it from like 1993-94 or something so it's been an issue for a long time. I just really enjoy the writing and stories on NintendoLife so wish they'd come up with something. Koopalings? Bad Bowsers? @sanderev lol that's the way I said it the first time but at least we resolved it! I'll keep the launch model I have because it can still be modded in the future unlike newer models, so I'm sure it will have more value overtime

Game looks pretty lifeless compared to other Nintendo titles from even 2017. I'll get the game though since their gameplay mechanics are pretty addiciting. Hope they add voice acting someday instead of being cheap about it

@sanderev lol I don't even know what you're talking about anymore. Handheld it's OLED & works with existing joycons. Docked offers zero benefit to the OLED screen the system comes with. I own an existing Switch, don't need another dock and don't need more joycons, hope that makes sense

@sanderev same comment, would play it on my couch with my existing joycons and benefit from the OLED screen. Docked it doesn't provide any enhancement to m existing Switch.

@johnvboy I would slap my joycons on that bad boy and play on my couch. The model loses it's OLED benefit the moment it's docked anyway, if that makes sense

Yes it should expand faster, throw as many games as you can on it as fast as you can on it. Then add more when you can.

It was a good run while it lasted! Got 6 of the fighters to Elite Smash, so I think I'm about done at pushing my thumbs to the limits. Will still drop in for tourneys and other events. Absolutely love this game. I use the music player pretty often actually hehe

@Serialsid time will tell! Let's just enjoy the games for now, they'll both get my money. Regarding Gamepass even at 20 million subscribers at $15 a month, that's $300 million a month & many games are timed so they can sell normally as well. I wish Xbox had more physical games, I buy a bunch for the Switch. I also preordered Halo Infinite just for the steelbox & plan to get Elden Ring physical so they're still getting money both ways.

@Serialsid lets agree to disagree on whether it pushes people forward. Game developers today were, and are, clearly influenced by the past. If we can change licensing rights & move towards GamePass as a business model, this means more devs benefit and we get more games. Plus Xbox has a ton of exclusives & games in development so not worried there. Backlog on PS5 will be massive when I get one 😂😂

Better hardware for the SSD, yes, the rest of the kit is almost exactly identical, with the XSX having more raw power. Excited to see how Sony responds with their version of GamePass. Having accessibility to your purchases in 2022 across ecosystems seems like the right way to head so you can play PS5 games on a PS6 or whatever the successor becomes. You could stream XSX games on an Xbox One from 2014, which in my view, means that gamer can play future games without the hardware kit. That's pretty groundbreaking for a console manufacturer (obvs on PC already by default) & means game studios can get more revenue from an existing player base.

Separately, have you tried to stream GamePass on PS5s browser? I imagine you can get the best of both worlds.

@Serialsid well if you wanna play new games, Gamepass has a ton if them. I for one take advantage of the BC because I have games from 2001 and threw out my OG Xbox once I got this bad boy (disc drive was broken, 360 red ringed) and all my purchases from 2007s Xbox live arcade are still there. FPS Boost to 120 FPS and dynamic 4K scaling are also nice. You can even play a lot of those games on xCloud which is included in Gamepass Ultimate. I mean PS5 clearly won the vote, so no arguing there. I saw the video by their tech guy in why the SSD is so fast, etc. I guess if there was an option for best business model for consumers I'd have more points to argue. I plan on getting a Sony console again once it's smaller, for now though, my XSX and Switch are plenty. I can store about 70 games on my console, 13 are XSX, 5 XBO enhanced and the rest fall into all categories. Anyway, wouldn't underestimate the power of the BC, tons of gems we likely missed, couldn't afford or just didn't have access to back then are available now. As. Nintendo fan, I am constantly looking for ways to play their back catalogue legally (GBA, N64,SNES) and I think most gamerd would agree it's only a positive

@Serialsid compared to nearly all Xbox One titles, 630+ 360 titles and 69+ Xbox titles, I think PS is clearly not a better piece of hardware for backwards compatibility. Xbox even adds FPS boost to increase framerates & increases fidelity to 1080p or 4K. For the memory, that's 4:58 minutes longer than it takes to snap it in 2 seconds. The benefits of the storage speed could be argued as negligible as it varys on a per game basis & they're both lightning fast for load times. You do get less base storage for the same price on PS5. The size of the console is also a big reason I didn't get it for my entertainment setup, waiting for them to release a PS5 Slim before I pick one up. To the point about a stronger xbox one x, Microsoft has a totally different approach with their ecosystem vs devices, so it means more players online & more accessible games regardless of budget to buy a new console or stream through your old one.

Eh PS5 best hardware? That thing is massive & you have to take it apart to add storage, plus the console has terribke backwards compatibility compared to the XSX. Not trying to be a fanboy for Xbox here but think it's kinda crazy. The Steam Deck on the other hand.. ooo

As someone that spent a lot of time at Disney and Universal parks, I can say the Universal rides were always subpar & broke down with people on the ride (Harry Potter ride especially, I was on it and I knee two separate coworkers that had the same experience). Let's hope they can fix those issues & not be too cheap about people's safety. It's not a virtual world anymore!

I just got drift again for my third or fourth time on my launch Switch. I rotate the joycons and have replaced a pair but I always get drift. They should just make them to be modular & pack in an extra analogue stic oR Something. I've been charged twice for this shoddy crap joycon. Have sent in joycons over 6 times

I wish they would allow other players on secondary consoles access to the main account holders games. It seriously sucks because if my partner wants to use the Switch Lite, she can only play physical titles or has to play on my profile. Or I make that the primary but then ahe can't play other titlea I have on the larger memory card on the main model

@Patendo the flatness of the joycons straight broke my hands and felt like I had arthritis after 2 years of using the standard setup. So happy for the split pad pro, it made handheld much more feasible for me

Honestly don't think reselling will be such a big issue, you can still get the SwSh Switch Lite at the store and they have it for sale at GameStops all over the place. So I cancelled my preordee for this just like the Monser Hunter edition. Will save for the next iteration of the Switch

I'm gonna get Mario Kart 9 Deluxe on Switch 2 when it launches in 2026, we all know MK9 will be a late Switch 1 game with a season pass so may as well wait a few years for the Deluxe bundle
