Re: You Can't Alter The Chest Size Of Female Characters In The Western Version Of Xenoblade Chronicles X

Jaz007

Seriously? This is just getting freakin ridiculous now. Anyone who seen me talk about this stuff before knows I don't like fanservice either. And I everyone bringing up the ESRB, and saying it's to keeps T rating, it's not. You can have a bust size editor is a T rated game easy. At worst (if it event does this), it gives a game mild suggestive themes. This already has suggestive themes.
@Fingeldor Because that would just be crude and gross. Soemthing like this though, is just part of character design. It has a pretty obvious affect on it. This also would allow women to better recreate themselves in games.

Re: This Is The Last Real Console Cycle, Proclaims Industry Analyst Michael Pachter

Jaz007

This is gonna fail hard as a prediction. The Wii accessed a crowd different than the usual gamer. To most of the industry, it's sucess didn't mean that much in the grand scheme of things. The fact that there would be 260M sales in consoles shows the core gaming market is growing, not declining. Those games wouldn't be as sucessful under those conditions either. If the next GTA was a smartphone or was a low-spec PC game, it would lose most of it's potential - it would no longer be a "console" game. Nobody would be as excited for it, it would never reach the same level of sales. The possible lower price would also lower profits. I don't hate the guy, but I feel like common sense sometimes leaves him.

Re: Negative Reception For Devil's Third Is Due To Poor Player Skill, Claims Tomonobu Itagaki

Jaz007

The arrogance and way he is stuck-up here is astounding. I just lost any respect I had for this guy. Of course he's gonna make a bad game with an attitude like this.

@PlywoodStick I don't think a fancier translation would help here. His arrogance is clear, and making what he said fancier doensn't change. You even said this guy has a track record of statements like this. Apparently he's also deleting any negative comments on Facebook he can. It's not like this was taken from an interview either, he posted this on his own decision. He deserves to have this reported.

Re: Reggie Fils-Aime Tackles Metroid Prime: Federation Force and amiibo Criticism

Jaz007

This is ridiculous... Sony (or mostly anyone really) doesn't release games 5 or 6 years after they're announced unless something goes very wrong. You need a balance of announcing stuff well ahead of time, and when it's gonna release really soon. They've done this with Zelda, and with SMGxFE (though this was one too early on), now they're saying they don't do stuff like that? No, you're making excuses for your terrible E3, and you're either terribly misinformed for someone is your position, or your being pathetic. I'm betting on the latter. And no, I don't trust you because you've given me almost every reason not to.

Re: Tablets Stole The Wii U's Thunder, Laments Shigeru Miyamoto

Jaz007

@aaronsullivan I know, but I'm saying we never really got the chance to find out if that's true, because even if you never heard of tablets, Nintendo has failed to make games that show why the gamepad is a selling point. They've talked it up a lot with all it's potential, but haven't delivered on that potential.
Regarding the reworking, the issue is Nintendo didn't prepare early enough. They put themselves in a situation where they couldn't put out enough games since they chased away virtually all third-party one way or another with the Wii U. At the end of the day, it's their fault regardless of the circumstances.

Re: Tablets Stole The Wii U's Thunder, Laments Shigeru Miyamoto

Jaz007

No, it's not. It's because you couldn't make it stand out. You've almost completely failed to show what make the gamepad cool in practice. You showed lots of promise and potential at the Wii U reveal, you haven't managed to make something half as good. Your first attempt to even seriously try I'd with Starfox. Before you've just flat-out completely ignored it at times. Tablets didn't make it not special, you did. You also didn't make enough games for the Wii U. You're way behind there, and has the job to make up for the lack of third-party. So all in all, stop making stupid excuses when you clearly have just failed on multiple levels.

Re: First Footage Emerges of Bandai Namco's Project Treasure on Wii U

Jaz007

This looks fun if the FTP part is done right. It's kind of funny though, you've got these Japanese girls (cute of course) with Japanese looking gameplay with swords, and then you've got these Western looking guys with tatoos and guns (tough looking of course) with FPS gunplay. I honestly wonder how all that is going to work.

Re: Fire Emblem's Two Versions Will Offer Very Different Challenges

Jaz007

Unless I'm missing something, Nintendo is releasing the same twice on the same, with different difficulties. And they get away with it. I'm sorry, but this just takes the cake for greed. If anyone else tried this, they would get murdered. Just imagine, Assassin's Creed: normal and hard editions with similar differences. Ubisoft would get slaughtered. I don't know how they get away with stuff like this. This honestly makes me less interested in the new Fire Emblem unless something changes with the localization. I'm hard pressed to think of something worse. This is worse than yearly releases. At least those try to offer something new as a sequel.

Re: Let's Educate Parents About Mature Titles, Suggests Game-Loving Teacher

Jaz007

@PlywoodStick The issue is most parents know about R rated movies, but not M rated games. I once heard a story where, a kid's parents wouldn't let him watch a PG-13 movie, but he played COD and several other M rated games, because his parents didn't realize games could be worse than a PG movie. There are real problems and parents to need to have their ignorance on the matter taken away.

Re: Swedish Newspaper Questions The European Release Of Senran Kagura 2: Deep Crimson

Jaz007

People who don't think this objectifies women or say "some real women have large chests" need to get real. Some woman do, there's nothing wrong with that. There's nothing wrong making a character like because they exist. However, when you make a game based off it, make jiggle beyond any sort of physics, make a gameplay mechanic where woman lose clothes when tey take damage, and make a "happy boobs edition" you need to freaken wake up and stop blinding themselves. She goes too far with her criticism (not everyone who's played it is a terrible womanizer), however, there is truth in what she says. What the game does is wrong.

Re: Weirdness: Tetris Designers Believe That It Should Become an Olympic Sport

Jaz007

How bout not? No one wants to see someone play Testris in the Olympics. The Olympics is about physical sports, not playing games of the mind. His point is pretty bad too. The sports provided good exercise for the body. I don't think Tetris does quite the same for the mind. And honestly, if things get that digital in the future, all the more reason to keep something like the Olympics only physical sports as we'll need all the exercise we can get. And no offense, but I think he's being a bit arrogant here.

Re: YouTube Stars Aren't Happy With Nintendo's Revenue-Sharing 'Creators Program'

Jaz007

@Zatioichi If a major publisher tried that on PS4, the lighting from Sony would hit them before anything else could, and they've barley let the lighting bolt out of their hand. When Sony said the PS4 could play used all used games, it was pretty obvious that you couldn't block it. Plus if Nintendo or Sony tried this, they'd go down in flames faster than the Hindenburg. This all going on the impossible situation someone can stop me from selling my property like that. There is no situation where it works.
@Fullbringichigo They can do full online passes as MS showe with the original Xbone vision, but you'll get ruled against in a court if you try to stop me from physically selling a game.

Re: YouTube Stars Aren't Happy With Nintendo's Revenue-Sharing 'Creators Program'

Jaz007

@FullbringIchigo Someone would have tried something with a game or movie or something then. Someone would be that stupid. I don't think you have the ability to deprive someone of the right to sell their property. Making illegal copies and selling those or yours, sure, but simple right to sell what you phyically own? I don't think you can do it that like that.
And honestly, I don't think a publisher can do something like that even if what you're saying is somehow true. I'm pretty sure they'd break an agreement with Sony (or whoever), and they'd take legal action, or Sony would use its EULA against them.

Re: YouTube Stars Aren't Happy With Nintendo's Revenue-Sharing 'Creators Program'

Jaz007

@Zatioichi I don't think it's illegal. It happens all the time with other industries. People do hard work to makes houses, cars, and many other things, someone buys it, then they sell it and other people, and the people who build it don't get a cut. It's called the right to sell your property. I suppose libaries should be illegal too. So many people are getting to read a book, and the author only got payed once.

Re: YouTube Stars Aren't Happy With Nintendo's Revenue-Sharing 'Creators Program'

Jaz007

@FullbringIchigo Selling used games is illegal? If you can actually take legal action against that, then please explain why no one has done so? Someone just has to target Gamestop. Surely someone who's done some sort of online pass for MP or SP content would have done so. I think you're misunderstanding something here, because I'm not gonna believe a claim like that when no one has ever done something with it. If it really was true, then someone would have done something by now.
I think that license gets sold to someone else when you sell a game.

Re: Not Everyone is Thrilled That Metroid Prime Trilogy Lands on the Wii U eShop Tomorrow

Jaz007

@Kitchener So a game is rare, and only one copy is being sold, and three people want to buy it. So who gets it? These three people came at about the same time, so nobody really arrived first. They all saw it at once. The listed price is $20, but person 1 is willing to pay $20, person 2 is willing to pay $20, and person 3 is willing to pay $40. Who should get it with your line of thinking?

Also, a problem with the article. You're comparing new prices before to the auction to used priced afterwards. There was a always going to be a sizable gap between those too, and while the download should devalue the game a bit, the article fails to properly show the difference becaue of this.

Re: I'll Take Zelda And Mario Over Sharing Call Of Duty With Sony And Microsoft, Says Reggie Fils-Aime

Jaz007

Yeah right. That's just publicity bullcrud. Sony's got just as strong of First-Party support and exclusive content. There is no excuse for the lack of shared content that can run on PS360. And if you really want to go there, the PS4 has had much better exclusive content so far IMHO. MS also's got some good exclusive content too, but I wouldn't say it matches Nintendo's. He's still playing his cards right though, this is probably the right way to advertise the console. Even if it does support the secondary console idea in a way.

Re: Mad Men Football Shows Off Its New N64-Inspired Sports Uniform

Jaz007

Oh my, this isn't going anywhere good. And at the end of the day, I don't think N64 graphics are retro, just bad. I don't see a way to make them appealing is this day. There's a reason no one has done it before. pixel is an art style that was done well, then we moved to a different art style for most games that was necessary for 3D games. I think it's just an excuse for bad graphics because he isn't capable of doing anything better.

Re: Wii U Owner Proves That Rejecting The End-User License Agreement Locks The System

Jaz007

It stinks that it makes the system unusable, but not for his reasons. Nintendo is the only one that makes you agree to use your system offline. I think they should do it like the other two. Now on to his problem about Nintendo being able to change the Wii U at anytime. He can agree to the update, and disconnect the system from the internet. Solving the problem. Nintendo can't change what they can't connect to. If he had actually thought about that, he would have seen the workaround. And he wanted to connect to the internet for an update or something, he could see what Nintendo has done to the Wii U, if he's not unhappy with it, he can just connect to the internet, and disconnect it again.

Re: Rumour: Nintendo Removed Tharja From Super Smash Bros. To Avoid A Higher Age Rating

Jaz007

To the poeple saying a T rating wouldn't hurt, you're forgetting, those games were rated T for cartoon violence, it would be different it got rated for a scanty outfit. That being said, I don't think this is legit, Nintendo could have easily made the cloth on her thicker, solving the problem. Which frankly, would be what I would want them to do. I wouldn't mind her as a playable character either, Tharja's awesome.

Re: Nintendo 64x64: F-Zero X

Jaz007

Dang, writing that review was way harder than I thought it would be. Spend way too much time on it. Took a while to get about 78 words down to 64, might have been a few more words too. An HD remake of this for Wii U would be amazing!
