Re: Sony and Kevin Butler Actor Settle Lawsuit Over Wii Appearance

Jaz007

How is not working on video game commercials slavery or preventing him from earning a living? Sony having someone who did countless playstation ads not promote Nintendo or X-box escially since they are in direct competition with them or another video game maker without coming across as Kevin Butler which is kind of hard and not at all for a period of time after working with Sony seems perfectly reasonable to me. He also should be able to find work non video game work without him or his family starving.

So do you believe it's scale effect from companys do that make it wrong? Plus older games can be hard to find new but easy to find used. Oh and no offense taken, I can understand why you might think its wrong. One more question, do you think the its wrong for company's to buy and sell used games that are 8 months old?

Re: Talking Point: The Future Role of High Street Games Retailers

@Dogpigfish How is it stealing? I it was stealing wouldn't it be illegal. Once you buy a game the developer/publisher have no ownership over that copy of the game and you have the right to sell it if you please. They made it, but you bought what they made and can do what you please with it. While it doesn't help the developers when you buy used you are in no way stealing from them.

Re: Disney Infinity Pricing Emerges

Jaz007

This is rediculous! I'm paying $75 for the game intially and it only gets me three characters and three stages, you've got to be kidding me, and then you want me to buy power ups for $5! I thought sky landers was bad, but that was just characters, this everything is DLC, most of the game is DLC when your already paying $75 for the game. Which is already pretty expensive. (Rant/)

@OorWullie Gun laws have nothing to do with hunting laws, you can still hunt with a bow, so gun laws are not the problem here, it's hunting laws you should be talking about here and last I remembered nobody goes hunting with an AK-47.

@Bass_X0 I have no earthly idea how you can honestly say the life of a rabbit is as valuable as a child's, I really don't. A child's life is much much more valuable than any animals life, and animals like bears, tigers, and packs of wolfs are not defenseless (not saying its ok to go out and hunt because they are not defenseless) and some would kill you without being provoked at all. (Still not saying wether it's ok) A humans life is much more valuable than an animals I don't see how you could believe otherwise.

Re: Review: Cabela's Dangerous Hunts 2013 (Wii U)

@Bankai We Americans value our freedom including the second amendment (the right to own guns) to our constitution. Gun ownership being legal itself is not a problem if someone really wants to kill people there are many ways to do it. Someone blew up a building by making a bomb with stuff like fertilizer, and if we ban guns criminals will still be able to get them just fine to rob stores, plus did you think of the crimes prevented by law abiding citizens with guns

Re: Review: Cabela's Dangerous Hunts 2013 (Wii U)

Jaz007

@castlezelda hunting is nessecary where I am, there are a buch a deer and no wolfs or other animals to hunt them since they just can't live here, fact all the dear do around here is cause car crashes and eat people's plants, if there was no hunting there would be an increase in car crashes everybody's plants would get eaten and the deer would just start to starve, if a hunter collects deer meat from hunting I see no problem, he is simply doing what a wolf would be doing in the balance of nature.

@Bankai Owning guns encourages people to do stupid things, really? I know a lot of people who aren't encouraged in the least to do stupid things by guns, fact guns don't encourage people to do anything stupid at all, it's a tool that sits there that you can pick and shoot something out of, people's own stupidity encourages them to do stupid things. Owning guns DOES NOT encourage people to do stupid things.

I might get the game if it came over here, would need to read about it more and I would need to think about wether its too cutsey for me, I can't deal with too much of the stuff, the chracters need to look realistic enough for me. (think harvest moon a new beginning level of cuteness)

I can't beleive this is M, more like shocked that its M, I thought it was gonna be T for sure, E3 really made it seem that way, I was really considering getting this game, but now I am seriously not getting this game. Seriously, topless even, are you kidding me! eyeball gouging, really. From what I saw at E3 there was no need to make this game M, its just unessecary, stupid and distastful. I am really ticked off about this, must everytihng have be sexually explicit.

Re: UK Press Pins Blame For Sandy Hook Massacre On Video Games

Jaz007

@Jellitoe on 2. I don't think beating someone to death with a video game controller instead of a wrench means video games inspiered them. It would be like blaming TV because someone got beat to death with a TV remote or blaming books because someone got beat to death with a hardcover book.

Re: UK Press Pins Blame For Sandy Hook Massacre On Video Games

I know yesterday that the only game it was confirmed that he was a fan of was dance dance revolution. Seriously Dynasty Warriors?! You drop people like flys but its not very violent. If someones says dynasty warrios is shockongly violent than I think that I'm not gonna beleive them if they say video games affect people towards violence.

Re: Review: Batman: Arkham City Armoured Edition (Wii U)

Jaz007

This definitly deserves a 9/10 at a minimum. I got it for my launch title and it's absolutly fantastic. There is something I would like to touch on though that the review didn't mention. The gamepad has been utilised in other ways than the review talked about. It also was used for the gadgets controlls (most of them anyway) so for the majoraty of that it is simply gyro controlls for aiming (like looking around in the nintendo land park) and while this works and and does a great job with the motion aspect it's still a lot better to just aim using the anolog stick so it feels very throw away. The two gadgets that differ from this are the remote controll batarang (RCB) and the explosive gel. the RCB is conrolled with motion with the gamepad facing downwards and it works like a plane's contoller stick. I found it eaiser and more effcient to use an analog stick again and this one is also better turned off. The explosive gel uses the gamepads touch screen to allow you to tap where you placed the gel when you have the gel gadget up or where it is placed on the map when you have your sonar map up. This addition isn't used too much but is still a good addition and is the only gadget controll added to utilise the gamepad that actually feels worthwhile and not throw away. They also added motion controll for gliding but is better turned off and you just use an analog stick. (note, all of these motion controlls don't turn off analog controll when used, and they all can be turned off, exept the gel controlls which can't harm you)
