i stopped buying games from the eshop already until i get news of how vc games work.

nintendo musou all-stars should start with the cast of smash, including the dlc, especially bayonetta, and including her supporting cast. then add the senran kagura girls, splatoon squids, ice climbers, etc.

i hope they're enhanced with higher resolution, anti-aliasing, texture filtering, the works. also, pn03 please.

in happier news. the results of the sega survey are out. bayonetta scored in neither 'brand you are most invested in', nor 'most hoped revival', but she did make it all the way to fourth for favorite character. i'd bet that most of those votes came from wii u players once again punching above their weight.

for the question about which was my favorite, all of the choices were positives and if i could, i would vote for all. my least favorite was miiverse, but that was literally least of the favorites instead of a disliked aspect.

games like project cars, gran turismo, and forza, all serve as car guy fantasies beyond just being racing games. not getting project cars might be offset by the fact that 505 games is a switch partner and they've got assetto corsa. that game's hardcore tho', even for the console versions. it might be too much for the casual switch gamer.

frame rate > image fidelity in my own personal criteria. then you have games like mario kart 8, smash 4, fast racing neo, bayonetta, and other wii u games having 60fps and high image quality. frame rate doesn't get enough credit for making the call of duty series so popular.

@Exy underproducing artificially increases demand. they did that with the wii in the united states. btw the wii did the opposite of the inferiority complex as it granted them the hubris to create the wii u imo, heh.

there were some gta games for the nvidia shield using the tegra x1, borderlands too, just not sure which versions. if they switch read dead redemption 2, they might as well switch the first two games while they're at it. no mass effect 3 with no previous entries like on wii u.

i luv these df retro videos. in this one, they show footage of an emulator with graphical enhancements and the huge difference it makes while using the same assets. but the nintendo policy is always 'to provide the original gaming experience' which is a euphemism for 'we cannot be bothered to enhance it in any way'. even my vita can add texture filtering to old games, but nintendo, sheesh.

the first superhero movie that broke their own curse was blade. the one that took it to the next level was iron-man. what video games need is a movie with the bad-asterisk of wesley snipes' blade, and/or the humor of robert downey jr's iron-man. mortal kombat had both, that's why i remember enjoying it. i don't remember sonic having either. i don't even know of a sonic story, to begin with. good luck to them! having said that, i am totally down with a bayonetta live action movie.

@DanteSolablood @samuelvictor the switch seems to be fulfilling promises that the wii u never kept. one of those expectations was that it's 32gb was flash ram instead of internal storage. that's a pretty elegant solution, in addtion to being much cheaper than ram, and much lower power consumption. so 4gb on the die, then maybe 32gb on a local bus. then again, that's bleeding edge so it's not likely.

anything bayonetta: instant buy!!!!

with dynamic loading, 4gb might just be enough. no idea what effect it'll have on the battery tho'.
