this series had been the best 3d sonic game for a while now.

that can be said about every third party game, really.

'sokay. it also shows just how far we have to go in making believable graphics. even with only stills, 8 bit monochrome, and low-resolution, the images are believably real. with hdr, and 4k, we can still tell when animation is cg.

@Leon-mirage ditto. darsiders 1&2 were old zelda clones. 3 might be a new one. instead of evoking past zeldas, it'll be a dark and gothic breath of the wild. seven deadly sins standing in for the divine beasts. her whip as magnesis etc.

@DanteSolablood maybe steal a few ideas from blizzard & valve or outright poach a few execs since they seem to have a lot of experience in that matter. the way people talk about 'this generation' of switch however makes me think we are in the ds cycle, and the next generation is the 3ds cycle.

EDIT: this might also explain why the teaser had the old bay look. they might have just reused the assets to make the teaser and there aren't any new ones yet.

i luv that the art is commando, rambo, and aliens. never appreciated it before. i guess game cover art will now go the way of comic book original art. a good thing, so invest now!

been a lot of noise about this game, most of it good. my standards for indie games are fast racing rmx and celeste, so let's see where this lands.

@Mqblank it's still possible that it could be. there are six fighters revealed so far and that's not enough of a roster. maybe these early fan service shots are jsut to get early interest. right now, even the dead or alive girls look modest.

if it weren't for the fan service, i'd swear this game looks like it was made to get girls into fighting games.

i will gladly dip as many times into bayonetta as needed. great game, great series, great character. i jsut hope bay3 (ba3?) isn't all dark and broody as the trailer suggested since it's the over the top joyful fun hacky-slashy game to beat out the gloominess of the other ones. that sheer joyfun is what deservedly makes her nintendo. also more costumes! mix & match, even. ice climber weapon set, too. all of it!
