@Dazman that's because they are not direct competitors. Unlike, let's say Sonic Racing or even Fast Fusion, Kirby Air Ride plays like a fast paced-surfing-party-combat-racer. You can even exit your vehicle and walk if you want to, better go blind with no expectations for this game and you'll be surprised.
@ShieldHero that's the first mistake, you don't compare Mario Kart with Kirby Air Ride, heck, it doesn't even compare to anything out there. Air Ride is almost it's own genre.
They spent billions on AAA studios just to lay off thousands of employees and put their games on PS5 anyway. Phil Spencer, the biggest game industry clown.
Whatever you say Furukawa, I've already got over key cards. No, I'm not buying your third party games digitally, I'm getting them physically on my PS5.
@DaGoldenBoo exactly my thoughts about Odyssey, got all 999 moons and I don't want to play that game ever again lol. I think it suits DK better, but I prefer the more linear design for Mario games.
What I find worse than key cards, are the people who can't see the problem and buy them. There seems to be a lack of understanding of how game data, updates and licenses work in general. Individuals claiming PS5 games are basically key cards when in reality 70% of the library can be played right out of the box without any download. I've read posts saying a lot of games need day one updated/patches to work and that's totally false.
The fact that people are comfortable with their games being controlled by organizations who don't care about game preservation or consumers at all is alarming. The fact that a politician's decision has the potential to cut access to all your game library over night. Digital games are so volatile compared to a single actual physical game.
Glad to hear and well deserved for putting their games on key carts passing the storage expenses on to the consumer. I refrained myself from buying Street Fighter 6, their loss, I have Guilty Gear Strive physical on Switch and I recommend it.
DK Bananza looks incredible! But honestly what's the hate with MKW, it's a breathtaking open world racing game with platforming mechanics and I love it, definitely my favorite MK alongside Double Dash.
I put away my phone when playing games, I want to disconnect from the world and get immersed, very pointless feature. This is why the WiiU Gamepad was so good, it allowed second screen interaction without disconnecting from the game.
I love Mario Kart and Sonic Racing but CTR is in a whole different league, the ammount of control you have over your vehicle is unbelievable, the learning curve is steep though.
Mario Kart 8 and the Booster Pass are so different from each other in terms of graphics and course design they almost feel like two different games. Mario Kart World's design is so uniform the whole map blends together seamlessly.
@sixrings we do need a new system, not for original Switch games but to evolve the series further. Next Zelda will probably 1080p @30fps and that's enough too.
@sixrings 900p @30fps was and still is enough, I enjoyed it the same nonetheless. Sure the new version plays smoother but it was always about the game itself not the performance.
@martynstuff I know Crypton Future Media owns Miku, but it is SEGA who they have collaborated with to bring Miku to the game industry since the first Project Diva.
@Suketoudara whoever made that up was obviously trolling, SEGA never showed that and I doubt they'll put those if it is paid DLC, no one would buy it. This isn't Fortnite.

@Jhena same, but for now let them finish the game, they keep adding stuff constantly.
Re: Random: Final Fantasy 14 Director Thinks "Aspiring" Game Devs Should Play Echoes Of Wisdom
Echoes of Wisdom was my GOTY last year.
Re: Fantasy Life i Switch 2 Physical Release And Photo Mode Update Announced
Nowadays "on the cart" is the new physical, since "physical" alone doesn't tell much anymore. This might be next third party NS2 game.
Re: Poll: Box Art Brawl: Duel - Star Wars: Rogue Squadron
@Sambuc Rebel Strike is also my favorite. The variety of missions, land vehicles and multiplayer modes were a blast.
Re: Poll: How Many Hours Have You Spent In Mario Kart World So Far?
Haven't even opened my other launch games yet because I can't put Mario Kart World down, 80 hrs in.
Re: Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom And Breath Of The Wild Updates Now Live, Here Are The Full Patch Notes
When is the Zelda notes update releasing for WiiU so I can use it on the GamePad instead of my phone while playing the game?
Re: Furukawa's Defence Of Game-Key Cards Ain't All That Convincing
@kmtrain83 exactly, installing from the CD is still a 100% physical offline format I support, whenever that's actually the case with PS5 games.

My body is ready for Kirby Air Riders!
Re: Where Are Mario Kart World's Non-Mario Racers? Producer Kosuke Yabuki Has The Answer
I like World's roster better than 8DX. It really embraces the concept of the Mario Universe, specially with the vast open world this games has.
Re: Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Officially Reveals Nickelodeon Collaboration
Glad it's DLC, we can skip it and pretend it never happened lol.

Re: Nintendo Appears To Have Updated Donkey Kong Bananza's Switch 2 File Size
Mario Kart World is a big open world so it makes sense for DK to be less than half the size.
Re: Third-Party Launch Games On Switch 2 Reportedly Sold "Very Low Numbers"
Glad to hear and well deserved for putting their games on key carts passing the storage expenses on to the consumer. I refrained myself from buying Street Fighter 6, their loss, I have Guilty Gear Strive physical on Switch and I recommend it.

@karatekid1612 haha you remembered
Re: Sounds Like The 'DK Rap' Is In Donkey Kong Bananza
"Here, here, here we go!"
Re: Sounds Like The 'DK Rap' Is In Donkey Kong Bananza
I was expecting the comments to sing the DK rap lyrics line by line from the first comment, I'm disappointed.
Re: Say Hello To Pauline In Donkey Kong Bananza
DK transforms into a frickin Zebra and people here trying to understand the lore Lmao, just enjoy.

Re: PS5 Hit 'Stellar Blade' Is Reportedly In Consideration For The Switch 2
I really want this on NS2, but more importantly in a cartridge.

Re: Nintendo Reminds Mario Kart Players They Can Toggle Auto And Smart Controls
This ruined my experience when I tried the game for the first time at a game store on launch date. On top of that the console was not set at 4K, lol.
Re: Trails Beyond The Horizon Slips To Early 2026, But It's Also Coming To Switch 2
Man, my Switch collection keeps on growing but at this rate my NS2 library will consist of first party games only.

Re: Talking Point: How Are You Finding Mario Kart's Open World?
It's all I play, I'm hooked and totally immersed in the world. It's a combination of open world racing and platforming, love it!

Mario Kart 8 and the Booster Pass are so different from each other in terms of graphics and course design they almost feel like two different games. Mario Kart World's design is so uniform the whole map blends together seamlessly.
Re: Best Mario Kart Games Of All Time
World is better than MK8DX.
Re: Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound Unleashes Two Physical Editions On Switch This September
Hell yes! Switch one still rocking those physical releases.

Re: Capcom Is Recording Switch 2 Game-Key Card Purchases As "Digital Sales"
Because that's what they are. Key cards are just sugar-coated digital games.
Re: Random: Is That The Zelda Triforce In Sonic Racing's Artwork? No, Probably Not
Link for Sonic Racing Crossworlds confirmed!
Re: Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade Scores Switch 2 Release Window
It's a key card. I'm happy with my real cartridge collection so far on NS2.

Re: Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Switch 2 Version Announced Alongside "Paid Upgrade" For Switch
@Suketoudara except for Steve, every character so far is a SEGA character in Crossworlds so it's on par with Transformed which included Ralph.
