@Michael0916 do your research before posting. If you look up DoesItPlay you can see 69% of PS5 games can be played offline without any download. Still a viable console for physical collectors.

@SearchingS exactly the feeling I get with digital. Honestly there's no difference, pirated or not is still digital.

Capcom did the same for Resident Evil games on Switch, however back then at least one of the included games was on the cartridge.

@RubyCarbuncle it looks and runs well, and I play docked on a 4K TV. Unless you are talking about Mortal Kombat 1, that's a different story.

"disappointing wishlist performance", do they really take this as a metric? Nonsense, just put this on a cartridge for Switch 2 and I'll be there day one, no wishlists here just immediate cash.

My money goes where the real cartridge is, simple.

Please don't be a key card on NS2, this game deserves a proper release.

@TheMainMii The exploration and animations look like it took inspiration from CTR indeed, the amount of control you have over your car in CTR however is beyond what Mario Kart does.

@Gatorclops I don't think it looks bad by any means, but the game didn't blow anyone away either, like Mario Kart 8 did back in 2014. Can't wait to play it myself.

That explains the rather simplistic graphics.

No doubt this game is gonna be great, but obviously they decided to release an incomplete version at launch. Hopefully a physical release containing all updates releases at some point.

I recently picked up a Dreamcast with both Power Stone titles so I think I'll be playing them there, not an active online player either.

LR is sitting on a gold mine with NS2.

@Anti-Matter game key cards make every new game announcement less exciting. VF5 is good news overall, but if it's a key card I'll rather play any other fighting game from my existing collection.

I've played a lot of fighting games on Switch and gotta I say, in terms of gameplay, graphics and port quality, Guilty Gear Strive and Mortal Kombat 11 are easily the best.

Other great ones are Blade Strangers, DNF Duel and Dragon Ball FighterZ.

Extra goodies in the box as well? These guys are the icon of physical releases on NS2.

@SillyG man, same here. I'm buying the physical release of Zelda TotK for NS2 despite having it on Switch just to get that fully loaded cartridge. Hopefully if we vote with our wallets, this key-card/code in box nonsense disappears.

At first I didn't consider handheld PCs a direct competitor to Switch but with NS2 getting rid of physical media, having your digital games on a more powerful system with Game Pass doesn't seem to be a bad decision.

For now I'm only getting Cyberpunk and Daemon X Machina 2, I'm not supporting key cards. For the rest of third party games I'll either get them on other platforms or not getting them at all.

Why so much hate on the eShop, I never use it myself but when I do there are always lovely photos at the top, I'm never disappointed.

Don't support this people, cheap companies just want to save the extra cost at the extent of customer satisfaction. If CD Projekt Red, Nintendo and Marvelous can put games on a cartridge, there's no excuse for any third party.

I have launch Switch for TV play, Sword and Shield Lite for portable play and Mario Red OLED for collection. All in pristine condition and not selling any.

On the good side, I'll spend less money on NS2 games and appreciate what I've acquired through the years, I have huge backlogs across different consoles.

I was waiting for all the modern RE games to come to a Nintendo platform, but with key cards, I might just get them on PS5 instead.

EA, Madden and Key card in the same sentence, it doesn't get worse than this.

I swear if the NS2 version of Sonic Racing Crosswords is a key card, I'll get it for Switch instead.

I have more than 250 physical Switch games, but it looks like my NS2 collection will only contain the essentials. I'll keep hunting those Switch carts.

Steam Deck, a downgraded PC experience with relatively low game compatibility and digital only games. I'll stick with Switch thanks. NS2 is gonna destroy Steam Deck 2 just like Switch destroyed the Deck.

This has to be the second best controller battery life, still nowhere near another pro controller we know.

@Batfan2425 except the data is installed from the disc itself without any online verification or download. You can open a sealed PS5 in 100 years and it will install and play with no problem, that's isn't the case on NS2.

Key cards are better than a code in a box yes, and so is cow dung compared to dog...

@sevex I think WiiU is more expensive at this point, Switch is dirt cheap.

@Mana_Knight Definitely a bit of RE in the first Luigi's Mansion. The second game was designed with portability in mind so it feels more segmented than 3 but each mansion is significantly more complex than a single floor in 3, It's more its own thing rather than just a lesser 3. Really enjoyed it and I think it's totally worth playing.
