Re: Talking Point: Is It Time For HD-2D To Take A Break?

As an older gamer, I am LOVING the updated hd-2d art style along with the updated QOL features. Reliving childhood to a degree. It’s like a dream come true for me, remaking games in their old style but with modern conveniences and enhancements. I love it! Keep em comin!

@HeldHero
I’m right there with ya. With a full time career, wife, house 3 kids (one of them medically complex) I don’t have time to invest on fighting bosses over and over

Edit: I adore the game though. The atmosphere, the lore. When my daughters would walk through they would say ‘this game is sad’. You’re darn right it is and it’s beautiful!

Risk of rain returns came out yesterday and it’s not on the list (not that I’ve seen, maybe I missed it). Maybe I’m the only one hyped about it. I have been awaiting news for a long time and picked it up yesterday right after it dropped. I must be the only one excited about it and the dlc for ror2

Mostly my DS game collection which consisted of all the dragon quest ds games, all of the ds castlevania games, all ds final fantasy games including tactics a2, ds chrono trigger, TWEWY, a couple Phoenix Wrights. Also a ton of gba games, mostly retro remakes like double dragon advance, Mario, dkc, etc, with the nes classic edition gba sp. All of the ds games and the gba sp were CIB in mint condition. I just had to have a psp. I was sooo dumb. I was a new parent at the time and gaming was my relaxation. I was bored with all of the games I traded and I wasn’t patient enough to save up
