@SLIGEACH_EIRE well you could do it with the PS4 Pro and it's cheaper than that by about £70

you can't judge it's price by systems that have been on the market for 5+ years because it's a brand new system

if anything you should judge it by the PS4 and XB1 LAUNCH price and in that regard it's cheaper than both systems were when they launched, the XB1 was over £450 when it launched and it wasn't even capable of being used as a mobile system either

like many have sad here i think this is more an issue of people mishandling the system than a manufacturing or design issue because you have to think a company as big as Nintendo would have caught something like this in the design phase

well if i'm honest i mostly use the Pro Controller anyway, the only time i use the joy-con is when i play it in portable mode with it still attached to the system and i haven't had any issue so far, fingers crossed it stays that way

@olrodlegacy well at least all their big titles like the entire Assassin's Creed franchise

but yeah if a big company like Ubisoft show good support for the switch by bringing their AAA titles to the system it might encourage other 3rd party developers to do the same

but it's not getting a physical release, it's digital only across all systems so why would it cost more?

the problem is there is no competition if you buy a boxed game you have MANY outlets to chose from and this inturn drives down the price but with digital you ONLY have PSN, XBL or eShop and so the charge full whack for it even though there is ZERO manufacturing or shipping costs

a lot of people here don't seem to have any understanding of copyright law it seems

IF you are making money using the likeness or any part of someones elses IP without their permission that is ILLEGAL even if it's dressing as a character from a video game and kart racing or even doing a review of a game

Nintendo are well within their rights to protect their IP's in what ever way they see fit, now i'm not saying they couldn't be more lenient especially to reviewers on youtube for example but if a group of people are going around dressing as mario characters and charging people to see them race then even if you call it Maricar it's still using their IP and making money off it

so i agree with Nintendo 100% they should fight to protect their IP and i hope they win because it would just leave the door open for ANYONE to make unlicensed products on not only Nintendo IP's but ANY IP and the market would be flooded with cheap knock off games and look what happened the last time they did that

that's right the Video Game Crash of 1983 because the market was flooded with too many knock off/reskins of games and consoles

so you can share images, that's neat although some form of live streaming function ala to Twitch or Youtube would have been nice

@ThomasBW84 how about putting a little add on to the Switch review pointing out the Wii U versions differences and giving it a score?

it looks fine to me kind of like the colour it would change to when you went to the DS section

on a side note i still love the Wii U too but honestly it really did feel like a HD Wii kind of what the PS4 Pro is to the PS4, that kind of thing

wish i had pre-ordered this, it was only released today and it's already sold out here on both Switch AND Wii U

guess i'll be waiting a while before i can get it

The only game i really want right now is Breath of the Wild and i could get that on the Wii U

maybe i will get one later in the year once more games are out i want, i made the mistake of getting a XB1 at launch for one game and now all it does is gather dust and i don't want that to happen to the Switch too

hold on i have my boxed NES in really good condition (even still has the original warranty card) and some boxed NES games, wonder how much they would be worth?

@AhabSpampurse try amazon, they have some N64 pads in good condition, even some really good third party ones too

well lets hope Ubisoft actually bring their big games to the system then, instead of shovelware and a few delayed lazy ports

well i liked the English voices plus i think adding voices was a big move for Zelda but i reckon it will be better for it as it can tell a more varied story

i saw "Share screenshot to social media" in one of those pics, so no built in live streaming then i would have thought they would have included one, shame

as for paying, well it doesn't bother me both the other systems charge and as i'm not huge multiplayer gamer, especially on Nintendo games it's not going to be an issue for me, although i could see why it would annoy others but bets are they already have a PS4 a XB1 or P.C for their multiplayer games so i doubt it will make much difference to them either

still we just have to wait and see because it's going to be months after release when they start charging so some of these things could change

also at least if you get the Wii U version the install isn't that big and it's better than installing the WHOLE game to the HDD like you have to on PS4 and XB1
