why FFIV has been released NUMEROUS times officially in english, this is just a huge waste of time

well i just looked on GAME and they have it for £999.99 so i don't think they have adjusted the price yet

no big issue for me as i never get rid of my old systems

also it means we will probably get ports of old Wii U titles (maybe even Wii ones too)

of course they could always release an optical disc add on at a later date if they wanted to

i'm ok with the Switch not having 2 screens although it had some interesting concepts on Wii U it was never fully utilised

plus i think it was one of the things putting 3rd party publishers off the Wii U because i don't think anyone really knew what to do with it

honestly i think the Switch being a system that has proper controls and with being able to play all your console games either at home or on the go should open up more markets for both Nintendo AND 3rd party developers

and ports of all the other FF games too

i just want them to show us what it looks like, explain a few of the features and show us a few clips of games running on the system

I'm OK with the canning the Wii U version and making a NX version instead, while i love the Wii U the system is pretty much dead at this point

it's not testing my patience, but then again i was raised to be patient

as much as they would like us to believe otherwise America isn't the centre of the world and a new handheld will be just fine because Nintendo doesn't just focus on one region

@kamikazilucas but DQ7 was published by Nintendo and this will be published by Bandai Namco and BN always do this with their games

@kamikazilucas probably because of the extra work, in the U.S they only need a English translation but in the UK and Europe they also have to add French, German Spanish and more and that takes extra time

What would it have looked like well, a game that only has half the content available with the rest locked on the disc/cart and only available through overpriced micro transactions

unless you buy the £120 ultimate addition where you get fantastic extra content such as early access to a legendary creature and an alternate colour for your characters shirt

and of course lets not forget the season pass where you get extra missions and towns to visit

Well DUH, what did they expect was going to happen

i'm ok with this, modern day cards can hold LOADS of data so i don't think the games will suffer

it would be nice but IF the NX is cartridge based not disc based it would also mean that none of our Physical games would work so we would have to hope that Nintendo released the games digitally and with some GameGube games no longer have a publisher or the rights held with multipule parties (MGS Twin Snakes for example) this could be difficult

of course if it has a disc based system there wouldn't be any problem

looking at the age of the kids they would be hearing far worse at school, in the streets and on TV shows and i bet the parents wouldn't care

i liked Zero, besides it's not like Starwing or Lylat Wars were huge long games either

now we just need DQ1, 2 and 3 to get a 3DS release (and yes i know that they are on mobile but the touch screen controls are HORRIBLE), and RPG like Dragon Quest NEEDS to have proper button controls

so it could mean that the NX will not be using a controller with a game pad

not surprising really after all Nintendo has had a different controller for EVERY Home console

so in other words " we are not saying anything about the NX just yet in case someone steals our ideas and releases their version before us"

on topic about what the NX version might be like, i can't imagine it being much different to the Wii U version myself, maybe slightly better looking, you know like how Twilight Princess was on Wii over GC

you know the concept of the Sonic Boom franchise was good but the execution was horrible

still Fire and Ice might be a lot better than Rise of Lyric (even though i did kinda enjoy Rise of Lyric, especially after it was patched, i think the problem was using Unreal Engine) EDIT: SORRY i meant cryengine NOT Unreal, no idea why i put that

it was a REFERENDUM that's ISN'T a like voting in a election where the result is guarantied it's basically a nationwide Poll on HOW the government should act on a particular issue

apparently now the UK has up to 2 years until they have to really chose to leave or stay and anything can happen in that time period, now the EU and the UK will negotiate the issue.

we haven't left YET, if this had been an actual vote not a referendum it would be different but as of right now nothing has actually changed and wont for years bar the small crash our stock market just had

anyway i think we should drop the subject because it is COMPLETELY off topic and we could get in trouble for it

besides we are still the same region when it comes to games, DVD's and blu-rays etc they can't change that so it shouldn't really make any difference, well the price of our games might increase as the pound changes in comparison to the other markets but that's to be expected

it's still stupid that the Wii U version doesn't get ALL these as well

why should we have to buy the game AGAIN and on a different system just to get access to all the content?
