@mousieone actually it's a "Play it First on PS4" so it's coming to at least one other system after a period of time but as for what system no one knows, probably P.C

square seem to be screwing over PS4 players on FF games at the moment first not getting the updates to FFXII and now this

@ddowler85 i get that and i think the main reason for it is because the game doesn't have a proper transformation system

take Budokai 3 or Infinite World that only has 2 Goku's in each (Z Goku in both, Kid Goku in 3 and GT Goku in IW) because it had a transformation system so it didn't need a separate character for all his forms, same with Vegeta, plus it had alternate costumes to represent the different Arcs

i really wish they would re-release that Budokai HD collection on current systems

@patbacknitro18 she would be a good fit for the game i think or they could have Caulifla with Kale as a back up character, like 18 has 17

@patbacknitro18 i'm not tired of Goku in the game, he is the main character of the franchise after all, everyone else is secondary at best no matter how much people might like them

complaining about Goku having a big presence in a Dragon Ball game is like complaining that James Bond is the focus of a Bond game or that Mario gets more exposure than Luigi in Mario games

not that it matters, it saves them time and money after all

@TurboTEF my guess is the cost and storage capacity of the carts is the issue, remember depending on where it's released it could require multiple subtitle languages and/or voice overs in multiple languages (especially in the EU) and those take up space

@mikegamer my guess is it's a port of the Remaster on PS3/360, which was also ported onto PS4 and XB1

still i have to ask why because it's not like the Switch will get all the games, yeah it might get DMC 1 through 4 but it wont be getting 5 will it?

yep it's well worth it no matter which system you get it on PS4, XB1 or Switch it's a great play

the added bonus of being able to play on the go is REALLY tempting me though, even though i already have it on PS4

and pretty soon they will be getting a cease and desist

@ShaiHulud yeah the Dreamcast can make a bit of noise, not as much as the UK 60gb PS3 though, that sounded like a Jet Engine going off

i think they made some other tweaks to the GameCube version too and it's creator says it's the "Definitive" version

but which ever version you play it's bloody awesome, one of my top 5 JRPG's of all time

@Vicki_S they might have ripped off FFX's battle system but it's still a great game and i imagine the GameCube version is smoother than the PS2 and XBOX versions, they normally were

i have a Game Gear, sadly it's doesn't work but my Master System does and most of the games are the same as the game gear ones anyway

it would be nice to have a working Game Gear again though

@NintendoFan990 i thought Captain Marvel was pretty good, not the best MCU movie but a solid entry

i can see why some wouldn't like it though

when are people going to stop listening to critics or using aggregate score sites as the reason to watch or not watch a film and actually go see if they like it themselves, don't want to go to the cinema, fine wait until it's available to rent or on Netflix or something

@ShaiHulud Well i have a Wavebird for my GameCube so i can play it with a wireless controller

and to be honest the load times aint to bad but yeah i remaster would be great but apparently SEGA lost the source code so there is very little chance of that

@TheFox sadly there is nothing they can do, as much as i loathe them "games as a service" are very popular and i don't understand why

perhaps it is all about that "gambling" thrill

@ilikeike i think the switch could run some of the older ones like 3 or 4 though and it would be awesome if they came (but we know they never will)

so that means all their games will be exclusive to the Epic Store now (at least on P.C)

i actually LIKE Street Fighter, Super Mario Bros and Doom, yeah i know they aint great but i still enjoy them, they are the kind of movies i can just sit down and turn off with

It's simple, walk on stage at E3 say "Skies of Arcadia 2", drop mic and walk off

(and before someone says AGAIN "but they lost the source code to Skies of Arcadia so they can't" YOU DON'T NEED THE CODE FOR THE OLD GAME TO MAKE A NEW ONE, IT WILL HAVE IT'S OWN BECAUSE IT'S A DIFFERENT GAME)

i like the old Earthworm Jim games but they aint worth buying a whole new console for especially an Intellivision console

now if SEGA released a new system, MAYBE i would buy that because SEGA has a large selection of IP's to draw from

@GameOtaku you do fight the same characters quite often i will admit, especially in Arcade mode

but your right it definitely needs more characters

my guess is they wanted to release before MK11 because they knew if it released after it wouldn't sell so they shipped it unfinished but IF they carry on like they have with the free updates, characters and stages i'm sure it will one day be worth it which is why i took the punt

of course i still feel that if this is all we get at £15 then it's still worth it

@GameOtaku while i do agree with you especially about the character selection i don't think comparing this to smash is fair, smash was a full £50 AAA release while this is a budget £15 one (or just over £30 if you brought the season pass too)

i'm playing through the story on PS4 and it's not bad actually (although they say original cast then say Kimberly is played by Meghan “Strawburry17” Camarena, she is good but she is NOT the original Kimberly)

one small issue though is that there are characters in the story mode that are not playable in the game (Time Force Pink, Samurai Red for example) but maybe they will be added later

but for a story mode in a budget game it's well worth it AND while the are just images in the cutscenes the art is great to look at

plus it's nice to actually hear the characters say something in battle now (although i think some of the characters such as the Magna Defender are ripped audio from the show but it still works)

and the Corinth map is pretty good, it has a Giant Goldar and the S.P.D Megazord fighting in the background

still not digging Sonics design BUT Jim wasn't bad as Eggman/Robotnik actually

@Anthracks it's because we are in the Social Media Age where everybody thinks their opinion is the only valid one and that everyone should agree with it

for example i was recently attacked on Social Media because i said i was unfollowing the Game of Thrones page to avoid spoilers

we live in an age of self entitlement and self gratification and social media has given people the platform to be as nasty and spiteful as they want to and where people are judged on what they are not who they are

social media is a pit of bile and should never have been created in the first place

you know i have been looking at this as my original N64 controller Stick just doesn't work anymore so this review was really helpful, i will SO be ordering this now especially as getting an original N64 controller in good working condition AND at a decent price is hard

i loved Epic Mickey ( a Switch port would be awesome)

and he can still play his games in docked mode at least until he is able to get a new battery for his switch (really why does everyone forget you can play on the TV too, it's not just a handheld system it a hybrid), not perfect i know but it should tie him over
