i would ABSOLUTELY love a Sequel to this game, perhaps Nintendo would be willing to work with them on it after all look at what they did with Bayonetta and Marvel Ultimate Alliance, they saved those franchises

i voted for the FFX/X-2 Remaster but i'm playing the PS4 version

on my WiiU (in Wii mode) i'm playing FFIV(aka FFII)

on my 3DS i'm playing Pokemon Omega Ruby

i sadly don't have a Switch yet

and on my XB1, nothing because the damn things wi-fi adapter died on me AGAIN and now i can't play bugger all because it's not set as my "home console" (my home console is in the living room AND before anyone says anything i can't use that one either because it's disc drive is broken and besides it's mainly used by the kids for Minecraft and Fortnite and for all of us to watch Netflix, the reason it's set as my home system is so they can use my XBLGold on their accounts)

@Arehexes i buy certain games physically because i want to have a product to add to my collection, like Final Fantasy for example, i would NEVER buy a FF digitally unless it was digital exclusive

and besides there is also legacy to take into account, can you guarantee that in 20 years time all the games on eShop, PSN or XBL will be there, heck you can't even buy digital Wii games anymore for example and can't even re-dowload them if you accidentally deleted them and that was only only 13 years but a physical disc will still be there WITH the game on it

when PSN/eShop/XBL is shut down (which will happen at some point) people will still be able to buy and play physical games, they WONT be able to with Digital ones

@Lionyone the issue there is that you have to buy your games again in order to play them and as such it's not "really" backwards compatibility , yes they are XB and 360 games but you can't play the games you already have on the XB1s A.D

Final Fantasy IV AKA FFII on my Wii, it's been sitting on my Wii for years so i thought "well i'm playing through the FF games again so i might as well see if it is any different to the PS1 version"

and it is, for one it's a hell of a lot easier than the PS1 version for one, which honestly is OK by me, i have a LOT of games to get through so an easy ride every now and then is a nice break

if this is basically a complete saga edition again but this time including Clone Wars, Rebels, Solo, Rouge One and Episodes 7, 8 and 9 then i'll be all for it

oh who am i kidding i'll be getting it anyway

on a side note i wonder if it will have online co-op, LEGO TFA didn't and this is the kind of series that SCREAMS for a online co-op mode

@Anti-Matter i wonder why the PS4 version is over 40gb in size if they can get it that small on Switch and with extra features?

@Stocksy i know it's pretty easy to turn off PSN auto renew, just simply go to your settings and turn it off, they even tell you when you buy it that it will auto renew unless you turn it off but i only ever used XBL Gold cards for XBL so i had no idea it was such an issue on there but saying that i haven't used Gold for a few years now so it might have changed

well to be fair they don't have right amount of controls to play Switch games so it wasn't unexpected but still as they can't they should be a bit cheaper than what they are going for

@FragRed depending on where in the UK you live it could take even longer, there is a shop in my town whose sign has been missing a letter for about 20 years now

SO PlayStation will let you play free to play games WITHOUT PS+, Nintendo will let you play free to play games WITHOUT Nintendo Online Network but Microsoft still make you pay for XBOX LIVE Gold to play free to play games, MS need to get with the game (no pun intended)

@BensonUii i hope so too but they will, although to be fair FFVII and FFIX were digital only on the PS4 too

but there is a chance the FFX+ X-2 and XII will get a physical release as FFX was released physically on the Vita so we know that carts are big enough to hold the games

@Ryu_Niiyama i'm still hoping they can get the original FFXV to run on the system, even if it means downgrading the graphics or breaking up the world into separate zones

well it looks like they just used the PS4 versions cover and put Nintendo Switch icons on it

the PS4 version was released in 2016

i'll still get it, i got the day one edition on the PS4, the Royal Edition on the XBOX ONE so i might as well finish the collection

plus this version will be perfect for my nephew to play when i'm babysitting

@GKO900 normally i would disagree with a statement like this BUT i did buy Pokemon Channel so i think your right, people will buy anything with Pikachu's face on it

a switch version would be great (even though i would still get the PS4 version) but when i get a Switch i would love to be able to play Spyro on the go

an MMO could be good, let us make our own character and go to Hogwarts or a full blown RPG

even an action game where you play as Harry when he was a Auror would be pretty cool

i never bin my old systems anyway, still got my original NES from 1988 although i put it back in the box not leave it in a barn

now they just need to add it to the Wii U VC for all of us who couldn't order a SNES Mini because it sold out as soon as it came up for order (and most by eBay scalpers it seems judging by the numbers of systems up for sale on there are OVERLY bloated prices)

@Pod people in the UK are salty (myself included) because some of these games were NEVER released in the UK and this was our only chance to get to play them

also i think the fact that this system also has a previously unreleased game that is EXCLUSIVE to this system that many people have wanted for years, coupled with the limited numbers will keep this system at a premium price for the scalpers that brought all the stock for a LONG time

i gave up after Amazon sold out after 10 minutes only for loads of pre-orders to go up on eBay for £150-£250

all the scalpers got them it seems and just like the NES Mini it looks like i will NEVER get this one

so if they announce a N64 Mini then i don't care anymore, it's cheaper for me to just buy the games for my old systems

well i played a few and had no issues whatsoever, as in NONE they all played fine

although i only played Sonic, Phantasy Star 2 and Comix Zone

also my tablet is about 3 years old so it's not exactly a new state of the art one either

i said it before and i'll say it again, if developers and publishers want to see the Switch as a handheld system then it's fine if it means it gets strong third party support

i irony is when Sony tried to this this last gen and MS refused nothing was said but when MS decided to do it and Sony refuses suddenly Sony is attacking Microsoft

besides would MS even be doing this if the XB1 had actually sold as well as they hoped and it had been the PS4 that was the low seller?, NO they would be doing just what Sony is now

well i can see Activision releasing at least one CoD game on the Switch to test it's waters so to speak, whether or not it will be this one i can't say but i would get it on Switch to see how it plays
