I pretty much buy every mario games as it comes out, and Wonder was fun, but I was expecting mario rpg the most. I can see myself playing and replaying it for years to come (as I did with the original) while wonder, I finished it and that's all the value I got from it. To each their own I guess, but after 3 bad mario rpgs in a row I can see people who never played the original RPG how they can be a little distrusting of nintendo.

The story sucks and ruined the experience for me, but yeah, the scope of the game and how great it was to experiment with it's mechanics, both things are unmatched.

Concerned if they are thinking of doing it like the mario movie. It cannot be so fast paced. The world building is specially important when translating an adventure game to movie, specially when there is more than 35 years of lore to select from.

Other than that, it cant be a bad movie. I just think it cannot be bad.

Dont they reckon their games are subpar and require more work? That sounds like the ideal thing to admit if you ask me

I really disliked FFXVI by the end, but the music (the Phoenix theme!!!) is amazing!! Glad I paid for the dlc bundle 3 already ❤️ this game has infinite replayability

I just played it for like 4 hours yesterday, and didn't notice it was 3 AM when I decided to turn the switch off. Great game!!

@jowe_gv ah yeah, I get it man. I had to pay extra for them, and import them from Japan. But I know it's always the same with amiibo. It just doesnt make any sense to get them from the in-game extras standpoint

Too bad amiibo items can be unlocked through gameplay. So the point of buying the amiibo nowadays is just to exhibit them and nothing else gameplay or reward-wise (at least with the newest games nintendo is releasing)

This particular dlc is pure gold. The songs have a very nice difficulty to them, and of course Octopath Traveler ost is amazing. Can't wait for the final dlc reveals and the xenosaga pack (tho it's only 3 songs)

The first jrpg back in 1996. Forever changed me and my taste in videogames. Glad they just didnt release it in NSO (although that would have been enough for me). They are treating this with respect. Reading the comments I can see some of us share similar experiences. This game open the JRPG floodgates for many unsuspecting children. Can't really put into words how grateful I am to nintendo and square for doing this. Heck! I will buy everything from them from now on because of this

The story ruined it for me. As soon as the credits ended I stored it in it's box. Will probably play it again when the inevitable dlc drops.

Really? All I can think of when finishing one is: "I solved it in the way that was probably not intended, therefore I'm a *****"

Not buying then. My PS5 is for exclusive use of Fortnite and FFXVI when it releases.

I loved how the game evolved, but I still think there is some room from improvement regarding interactions between characters and their participation in individual tales. Like how they paired them? If you have them in the team maybe add a couple more lines supporting the character before a boss fight and so on. I still felt the characters more connected by the end and it was much appreciated

Oh well. Good I have my spare 3DS to... Experiment with it 👌❤️

I'll just pirate them until they do a widespread release. Their loss, I've already bought the superior versions for GBA and PSP in the past, so as long as I can play them digitally at no cost I can wait for the physical release

@sanderev it's a portable device that can run heftier games that what switch can do. You could even play switch games in it. It is a switch competitor. It will never defeat it though, it's not for everybody.

We need a "blue shell" item. There are instances when myself or other person is in 1st place and nobody can catch on them because they are so far ahead that nothing you do will reduce the distance gap. Again, this sometimes works for or against you and needs to be addressed.

Also, I would like to be able to select a song for each track every time. Going to the sound menu to select the ONE song that will play in ALL stages is absurd (and I love some of the dlc tracks).

If they are the exact same releases as the android/ios versions I'll wait for a physical compilation. I wanted them to add the advance versions extras (which is why I havent bought them).

I spoke to a represep8ntative a few weeks ago regarding adding points to the ACCOUNT through nintendo switch and using said points in the 3ds/wiiu eshop. According to this person we can still do that until march. However nowhere online I've been able to see this reported.
