@Marioracer dont be mistaken. We already played this several times over the last 20 years in different consoles. Having them on the go would have been nice but the ones that will suffer from this decision are Square Enix (sales-wise). We KH fans got Sora for Smash. Nothing really lost on our end

@Miyamotosan KH Chain of Memories, 358/2 Days, Re:Coded and Dream Drop Distance are ALL on nintendo systems. That you haven't played them it's a different thing

@fafonio Geno. I've wanted him since the brawl speculation days. I asked for Shulk too so I got him too.

The characters I never thought had a chance to appear, therefore never asked for them are Cloud, Sephiroth and Hero. They just seemed too impossible so they never crossed my mind (and their reveal trailers were such an incredible surprise). The fifth character I'm counting is Joker, but didnt know who he was when he was shown. I played the game after the dlc launched and ended up loving him. His inclussion is super deserved.

Sad that I never got the character I've wanted since forever... However since Smash Bros for Wiiu/3DS I've gotten 5 characters I never even dreamed possible. I guess you just take what you got and play this game forever, because it's almost too perfect to be real.

So I'll finally buy a rune factory game. Took them serious time to get out of the 1900's.

I'm impressed for the overhaul this game got. The game feels very fluid now, Gengar continues to be amazing as well. Paid the season pass withoit thinking twice.

Got one (Collector's edition) but DHL is charging taxes and import fees with a cost as high as the shipping itself. Bitmapbooks has awesome customer service however and have been trying to help me. First time ever I get charged for an import when I pay DHL or a similar service, so it's kinda weird. Might end up returning the book if nothing can be done about the charges, so be on the lookout for my copy to become available on the website soon xD

@HeadPirate 100% agree with you. 13 and 15 were terrible. Square Enix thinks they can release any turd they want and fans will buy it (they will because they love turds). So happy they announced XVI and has nothing to do with nomura

I decided not to buy this game until I got my hands on all the MH amiibo that nintendo and capcom distributed poorly in latin America... So I bought the amiibo in amazon Japan to get this game afterwards ❤️ I really wanna play this game

@tanaka2687 I dont know if I would say asking for a modern remake of a game they are selling us for 60 dollars is unrealistic. Maybe for nintendo drones that buy everything they sell despite poor quality is unrealistic. For the rest of the gaming community this was pretty terrible and underwhelming

Good that god-awful TOK was not included. Also, too many indies, which shows the poor game lineup nintendo had during the year.

TOK does not deserve to be there. But again, its nintendo life and there really werent too many games this year.

My reaction? F*** nintendo and square enix. What disrespect to not even MENTION Geno's inclusion (last time we got a "I wanted to give Geno fans at least something", now samurai didnt even say "here is Geno, shut the f*** up"). Felt forced, felt absurd and limited (cuphead and sans getting special treatment?!). I hate them for doing it this way.

@Prizm in no way the characters you mentioned are even comparable to the excellent choice that Sephiroth is. He has more story and background than any character Nintendo ever created. You are just being ridiculous.

Bittersweet for me. I wanted Geno (Mario RPG was so good that I abandoned Nintendo when I learned that square wasnt gonna make games for the N64). But Final Fantasy will forever be the best videogame saga ever, at least to me. And I know I was obsessed with FFVII from 1997 to the end of the compilation of FFVII by mid 2000s. And that trailer, damn! If Geno is the price to pay to have more representation for this saga of games, then, well... it's fine to let go of childish dreams sometimes T-T

Low sells for the switch install base. After all the drama, it's clear it could have sold more if it were a real mario rpg game. Nintendo is just trying to say "hey guys, we did good! Trust us!"

Anyone who wanted to play KH has already done so in other platforms. It's not the end of the world if the games arent on Switch, we got our fair number of exclusives (some permanent, some for a few years) on nintendo consoles throughout the last 20 years or so
