Re: FTC Reportedly Wants Info From Nintendo On Call Of Duty Deal (North America)

Fiskern

@BaldBelper78 They will go through the deal, how it is laid out in terms of payment, revenue, and all kinds of business stuff, so that they can know if it is all optics from Microsoft's side, or if it in fact is a proper deal and that it won't be bad for consumers if Microsoft get to buy Activision. Whether or not Nintendo makes a new platform or not is likely going to be irrelevant as of that testimony.

Re: Bowser Defends $70 Zelda Pricing, Nintendo Still "Very Bullish" About Switch

@progx maybe you should read what I'm actually writing instead of just assuming things? You know how to read, right? I never said I'm okay with that.

I'm just pointing out (most of) Nintendo's devs are in Japan. Salaries will continue to increase in Japan. Eventually they will have to increase the prices to sustain it. The only way to not increase the price is to not increase their salaries. Are you okay with that?

Re: Pokémon Scarlet And Violet Pre-Orders Are Already Breaking Records In Japan

Fiskern

"Pokemon S/V also surpassed the first 3 days of sales made by any Pokemon game on Switch with only pre-orders."
I feel stupid. I can't get that info from the graphs they provide. And the number are all in the thousands, which means nothing for these games.

Also, from another tweet in the thread:
"COMG is a chain of 14 video game stores located in Niigata prefecture (Japan).
Together they have a 0.1% marketshare and are generally representative of the japanese market."
How is 0.1% in any way representative? What am I missing?
