Mario Kart World has made it nigh on impossible though, thanks to the unbalanced "adaptive difficulty" that punishes you for drifting. Needs urgent patching.
If adjusting for inflation, this game is cheaper than Super Mario Kart was. Don't buy into everything the Internet propaganda hate engine tells you to be angry about. Think some sentient, self-determined thoughts every once in a while.
The level of armchair psychologist, unlicensed internet lawyering, and general combativeness, hostility and toxicity at anything and anyone that you don't agree with is absolutely insane, and I wish you'd all just stop.
I'll play whatever they make so long as it seems appealing to me, and have no sense of entitlement about what they should make and not. That's the only way to be. SHRUGS
Oof. This is just click-baity superindulgence, but somehow he's treated like a hero? That's a full year salary's worth of Patreon money (which he repeatedly begs for because YouTube income is unsteady and he can't make ends meet??)
As for preservation, this does exactly nothing. Every game has already been preserved via other means, and what good is it for game preservation to have every game available on one indivudual's device(s)?
No hate for the guy, but weird to see this treated as heroic.
This is such a non thing. This is not a gender empowerment statement. This is not a 'take'. This is just a character from a movie based on a video game. It's insignificance should be clear as day and nobody should even bother to care.
@Uncle_Franklin I, too, fell for it. I came ready to ridicule a serious attempt to inject the vegetarian/vegan social conquest into Nintendo journalism. But this... the only thing I can say about this is that it exists.
Once again the comment section shows ignorant entitlement and catastrophizes minor inconveniences, getting worked up over the actions of a business corporation.
Wow are we outraged again? This is one game I don't mind paying a premium for. There are a lot of games that go full price despite feeling like 20 dollar games, that's the real problem. This actually sets a positive precedent for games to be priced lower if actually reviewed for value.
The most important aspect is ownership. Digital games are rented. The practical answer is a combination, where you get big important games physically and grab indies digitally.
@chefgon bit of a reductionism, but I'm sure you know that. Graphical quality is important, but should be viewed as a function of fidelity and art style. The "graphics don't matter" mantra is usually used against the focus on photorealism.

Huh so the constant anti Nintendo propaganda by random youtubers didn't work? How surprising.

Re: Switch 2 Games Cost A Bit More Than You're Probably Expecting
Why do people feel entitled to their video game purchases not being affected by inflation, increased development costs, etc?
I'm just surprised this didn't happen sooner. And maybe some publishes will stop trying to recuperate costs with season passes now.

Re: New 3DS And Wii U Users Can No Longer Go Online In Games
I still can't believe they shut down the online for Nintendo NES, absurd that a corporation ends a service when it is no longer deemed profitable.

@axelhander I mean I am with @GoshJosh on this one. Scantily clad anime girls that look like children ain't gucci, brøther.
