@Zeldafan79 I was wondering about this as well. On the Wii U version I could never beat the fourth area because it the game would consistently freeze.

I've played it on PC though, the sheer sense of wonder and magic has made this game one of my absolute favorites.

I don't care that I'm paying for nso, but I haven't touched smash since 2017 because of the asinine online structure and dreadful performance. It's just sad. Instead of improving the game they're adding paid dlc and pumping out collectibles that nobody cares about.

This is basically what I have wanted from Nintendo for a while. Not only Mario, but other major franchises such as Zelda, Metroid (Prime), and others need the same treatment. I've got all games in all major franchises, but the opportunity to play these games on the current, and most convenient platform would be amazing. My Wii U is becoming more and more obsolete, despite being softmodded!

As a potential new fan of the franchise, I vehemently decided against getting this game on principle alone. Not paying 360 bucks for a feature every other game offers for free.

I'll stick to Stardew Valley for my farming needs.

I'm very interested, as I've never played any of these series. The DOWNLOAD REQUIRED is a red flag, but as long as it's not a download code in a box I'll probably partake.

I will mirror what's been said, the mobile aesthetic is a turn-off, and if the story-telling is lacklustre I see no reason to play this over Fire Emblem games. Those games are so long that I am nowhere near finishing the franchise.
