Honestly, I find it painful to pay 60 bucks for most current games. The standardization of game price is pretty problematic. I gladly paid 60 bucks for BotW, but no way in hell am I paying the same amount for Link's Awakening, or Kirby Star Allies.

Well that's only 4 times more than I make.

Always thought this game was objectively terrible. The soundtrack is amazing, but the game is designed around swallowing coins. Maybe I just need to git gud but man, that final stage is impossible without save state abuse.

Good news, so now the entire series will be available on Switch? Perhaps it's time I give these games a go.

Y(e)s! I hope they bring all the modern Ys games to Switch! This is a series I must have physically. Ys 8 is my 2nd favorite Switch game, behind BotW!

Ys 8 is a top 5 game in the Switch library, was worried the ninth entry wouldn't make it to the Switch. This is also a great opportunity to port the other Ys games to Switch as well!

I trust Nintendo is refunding players who've ordered the wrong DLC. Aside from being slightly unintuitive, selecting the correct DLC should be a no-brainer.

It kind of looks like a B-tier game. The combat didn't look like it had any depth to it, nor any impact when attacking or being attacked.
