Honestly how can 5 Switch 2 games cost as much as the hardware??

@ChakraStomps well it started with intent to play and then spiralled into a mostly sealed collection of great games I don’t want to part with. I went in strong thinking this is the last generation for physical.

These game prices make me sad, currently sitting on 600+ physical games for Switch 1 but now I’ll probably get a Switch 2 just for major 1st party games at these unpleasant prices.
Oled steamdeck for the future as i refuse to be tied to a ecosystem of either Nintendo or Sony. I don’t trust them.

I’d have preferred the wonderful LocoRoco 1+2 remastered. Still you never know, it could easily happen if this sells well enough.
I’ve been interested in getting these for PSP for years but never got around to it, will now.

So happy for a new entry it’s been a long time since Megamix, maybe another year to wait? So be it

Maybe this is unpopular but I would have loved a shinobi X/ legions look from the Saturn way more just to stick out from the crowd.

@PeteW totally understand your concerns, but how much better do you really need your games to look? Factor in the extra cost and time for developers to make our games i don’t see how most PS6 AAA games will become profitable.
I’ll be very happy with ps4 / pro performance in a handheld.

@ozwally apparently switch 2 will use the Hall type for the sticks which should all but eliminate drifting.

Isn’t it tradition that a Kirby game will arrive at the end of a Nintendo platform life span, probably sell poorly then be a holygrail game 10 years from now.

You’d be mad to buy a portable device from Sony, time and time again they lose interest when their product real fast if it misses sale expectations.

@Yoshi3 back in 95’ it received reviews of 7/10 so i’m not sure what your problem is unless you have some sort of financial involvement with the re-release.

I don’t really enjoy music games, I think it’s because I have no rhythm, but I’m down for this it looks a little easier than some.
And at the age of 48 I’ll sing along to all the movies my kids made me watch.

I’ll happily double dip into this on Switch, I had this originally on my Goldstar 3DO and finished it a number of times, it’s a much better game experience than Po’ed for the record. Pretty creepy back in the 90’s a true CD rom game overlaying full motion video scenes while in the 3D environment.
It’s that and the 1920’s/30’s music I remember most fondly.

@Jhena I got the JPN release it’s physical out there but unfortunately no English language but maybe it adds to an already very Japanese game?

The only thing left is how long is it going to be from Nintendo’s unveiling till the actual release at the tail end of march.
I’m going for 18 weeks.

I’ve only the WiiU copy as I couldn’t see any point of double dipping but I think I will now if everything is on cart.

I prefer the more focused art work of the European over Japan but it’s fairly close. North America is a no show this time.

Ok, this is a close one but I went for the Japanese version. Not really a fan of the realistic art style of Europe/ America but neither look top class to me.

Had this on the 3DO back when it launched . I never managed to finish it as it was to weird to really get into. Depending on the price I may dive in just to reminise my teenage years.

Super R-Type was crippled with slow down on the original hardware but looked great . I bought it at launch then sadly sold this with the rest of my snes collection when I swapped out for a Megadrive.
Hope they've removed the slow down that would be great.

@Nagi @Nagi yep, and the patch will now be on the cartridge if I assume Limited Run publish this.

It's close but Euro for me , nicer layout than the American cover which is a tad messy around his feet plus the unnecessary attitude face just loses it for me.
