@Joe11 during the pre production phase which is around 4 weeks anyone can order as many units of game they want, thats not promoting a scarcity model. I'm sure LRG would be happy to manufacture tens of thousands of each of product.

Going by the “Does it play” website of the 500+ games they have tested on switch 93% are perfectly playable without any major issues affecting gameplay.

I’ll wait for performance results, if it’s good it’ll be my day 1 game for S2

@Gohanjin that’s fine with ps5 at least you can play the broken game on disc, well apart from Indiana Jones which is basically game key.
Sadly in a few short years we’ll be dreaming of barely playable games on cart/ disc if/when game key kicks in.

@SBandy1 it’s just a sellable digital download. Game is not worth any more than the onsale store price which capcom seem to regularly take part in. Infact probably less duo to the trouble rummaging around to play the cart.

@MrCarlos46 do you really think Nintendo will be that generous? I'm going to guess the switch 1 cartridge will dump data onto the internal memory of Switch 2 which will then run through emulation. This will happen with all the Switch 1 cartridges.

@Friendly I've preordered Switch 2 but sure as hell won’t buy digital from Nintendo with their track record. So mostly1st party stuff.

I'm going to get a SteamDeck with the cash I’ll save not buying these game key products.

seems like if there’s text on the front of the box it’s bad news, either one of these keycard games or a Switch 1 cart with upgrade store code.

Small print on the box says this is the original cartridge for switch 1 with a store code for the upgrade for Switch 2.

@KITG_GROUP I’ve done exactly the same as you today. Fingers crossed for day 1, if the game prices don’t drop I’ll be playing Switch 1 games on this thing for a while. Good upgrade from the Lite.
