This is a truly fantastic fighting game. The best part of the game is taking off your clothes and dancing to the Magikarp Festival music.

The day that Nintendo goes digital-only is the day it moves to 2nd place in my focus. The only system I do digital-only is PC. For my other systems, I always get retail if I can, even if it means not getting the game on my preferred console. If it's only digital no matter what console, then sure, I'll download, but I'll be that crotchety old man clinging to physical releases until their last dying breath.

I'm down for anything from Nintendo. I'll at least give it a shot.

I hardcore recommend Never Alone. I'm also getting Pokken Tournament in the mail tomorrow, but I'm thinking about downloading U Host.

Normally season passes piss me off, but Nintendo has proven that it knows how to do DLC right, and if you have a proven track record, I'm fine with season passes.

What are the items that you get in the main game? I'm definitely doing to download the demo, but whether or not I take the time to play all the way through it will depend on what the rewards in the main game are.

My physical copy of TPHD with the amiibo will be here tomorrow, but I'm definitely downloading Chasing Dead when I get home tonight. Even if it's just "okay," I'll give just about any horror game on the Wii U a go by this point.

I'd love to do this. The PSP's stick isn't great, but I can't STAND the little nub that they call a C stick.

Only an idiot would think that the NX won't be more powerful than the PS4 and the Xbox One. The Wii was more powerful than the Xbox; the Wii U is more powerful than the PS3 or 360. Obviously the NX will be more powerful than the PS4 and Xbox One. It's a 9th gen console; of course it will be more powerful than 8th gen consoles.

As for the rumor, I think it's very likely that Final Fantasy VII will be on the NX. That's been my theory since Cloud was first announced for Super Smash Bros.

I said Link to the Past, Ocarina of Time, and Minish Cap. I know the first two are the ones EVERYONE says are the best, but honestly, those were my two favorite. For my last one, I was torn between Minish Cap, Wind Waker, and Skyward Sword. Minish Cap, though, man...that game blew my socks off when I played it. Definitely my favorite handheld Zelda (even with the 3DS port, I still consider Ocarina of Time to be a console entry).

I have both versions preordered. I'm going to play through Birthright first (I can't choose, so I'm just doing alphabetical) and then immediately dive into Conquest. By the time I finish both, Revelations (or whatever the third DLC chapter is called; can't remember for sure) should be out for me to play.

I whole heartedly agree. To launch in 2016, giving the Wii U only a 4 year lifespan when Nintendo consoles have always have 5 or 6 year lifespans in North America, would harm confidence in Nintendo to support its consoles. That's a large part of what killed Sega - they killed consumer confidence. They need to tough it out another year and release the NX in the fall of 2017.

What kind of bonuses do you get if you transfer the data from the demo to the main game? And does the demo's story relate to the main game's story like a prologue or anything?

Why does this game seem to be so ridiculously rare? I haven't seen it anywhere except Toys-R-Us, and I've heard almost NOTHING about it online.

As long as the drop isn't because of Nintendo's decisions, I don't think this will be a big long term issue. It may show a lack of faith in the overall market, but it doesn't indicate a lack of faith in Nintendo, and that's what's most important long term. The market will always fluctuate, but if faith in the Nintendo brand stays strong, there's nothing to worry about.

I'd rather it run 720p60 rather than 1080p30, but I'm happy either way. Totally triple dipping on this.

They need to do a Pokken Tournament line of amiibos for this. I'd buy the crap out of those.

It definitely has been blown WAY out of proportion. I mean, I'm really upset about it, but really, it's a super minor thing. People buy Fire Emblem games for the tactical RPG gameplay, not for a waifu dating sim.

That still seems too steep for DLC. That said, I'm a Fire Emblem fanatic, so I'll buy pretty much anything with "Fire Emblem" in the name.

Definitely, either that or make it specifically to run smoothly on the regular 3DS. If nothing else, they could have released a New 3DS-centric patch to take advantage of the hardware (or do what they did with the DSi or N64 and have it made for the regular 3DS but take advantage of the extra hardware power of the New 3DS if you've got it.

I think it'll be a good year for Nintendo gamers, but I think it would be a mistake to release the NX this year. It needs to wait until 2017 so as not to make Wii U owners feel cheated by a four year life span and to let hardware get as cheap as possible before launch to minimize the MSRP of the console.

Good point, but he also said a day or two ago, I believe, that development was "progressing" and that Nintendo wasn't going to "rush [the NX] to market." Nintendo almost ALWAYS releases their hardware between August and November, so unless they're going to break that several decade long trend, "not rush to market" means "fall 2017, not fall 2016" to me.

As I have said since the beginning, my money is still on a 2017 launch. I think they'll spend 2016 revealing and hyping, and then they'll launch it sometime in 2017 (probably towards the end of the year - November, like usual).
