Here we are once again, North American gamers, with the Nintendo Download Update. This week seems like another good 'un, with the final batch of Super Smash Bros. DLC, a corking Wii download from Capcom, some highly promising download-only games and some discounts. Phew, let's get to the details.

Missed the European Nintendo Download Update earlier this week? No need to let out a blood-curdling scream of horror, just read the details right here.

Wii U eShop

Shütshimi (Choice Provisions, $9.99) - A shoot 'em up in a WarioWare style with extremely short levels and plenty of chaos on screen, this also has co-op and GamePad off-TV play. It's a colourful and bonkers creation from developer Neon Deity Games, and we'll bring you a review soon.

FreezeME (RNC, $9.99) - A 3D platformer that cites N64 titles as an inspiration and with some elements strongly reminiscent of Super Mario Galaxy, this includes a mechanic for freezing items that utilises the GamePad screen or Wii Remote pointer. It looks rather slick and full of promise, so we'll leap into a review. In the meantime you can check out our recent interview with the developer.

PEG SOLITAIRE (RCMADIAX, $1.49) - The latest budget offering from RCMADIAX, this time around it's a recreation of the classic puzzle challenge (which was even adopted on DSiWare in the past). You try to clear as many pegs as possible, and we'll do just that to bring you a review.

Wii U Virtual Console

Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition (Capcom, $19.99) - A terrific version of a classic game, with pointer controls and occasional waggle that are actually fun to use, along with the inclusion of the Ada Wong 'Separate Ways' sub-campaign. We absolutely loved this one in our original Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition review.

Alphadia (Kemco, $9.99) - If this sounds familiar to Alphadia Genesis on Wii U, that's because it seems to be a sequel or spin-off to that release. The Energi War is part of the plot's backdrop, once again, but this traditional RPG has a new cast and plotline, with a promise of accessibility for newcomers and 30+ hours in the adventure. We'll set off on a quest to bring you a review.
