Funnily enough, I recently found a cartridge for this game in our storage room. I’m pretty sure it’s a famicom bootleg cart and I’m almost certain we never actually played it (because we had an NES, not a famicom!), but it works perfectly fine despite collecting dust for 30 years.
@Uncle_Franklin then again, how is this more “like NFTs” than all previous Pokemon TCG apps they’ve had in the past…? (Or any other trading card game, for that matter) The basic functionality seems to be nearly identical, except with shorter battles.
I can’t wait for this one. I should probably preorder it now that I think about it.
The little almanac with character bios and preferences is a genius idea. Makes it a worthy companion for Friends of Mineral Town (and apparently there’s also characters and music from the other games? That’s nice!)
Ah, this coincides with the new updates on mobile (they added the boost options and controller compatibility there). Cool, it’s like a little crossover event between switch and mobile.
@Barbiegurl777 I assure you this and the regular versions of the game will only share the farming theme and John Deere license.
I would expect this one to be more like a soundboard with basic early learning activities and cute animations, whereas the regular games are actual farming simulations where you use heavy farming machinery.
I suppose neither would be the kind of story-driven experience you want.
@Barbiegurl777 yes the 3DS had three farming simulator games, but they where the regular mobile phone versions, not any sort of special "for kids" edition.
@LEGEND_MARIOID I honestly used the shield more as a transportation and general use tool than as… a shield… during my playthrough.
Hot? Take the sapphire shield out. Cold? Use the ruby shield. Going downhill? Oh I have a shield with wheels for that! Want some extra elevation? Pick one from the pile of shields that make you go up.

The game is genuinely fun, in my opinion.

Seems like a funny way to say “buy Hogwarts Legacy now or we’ll make the next one a live service game!”
Re: Poll: Box Art Brawl - Ninja Gaiden Shadow
He’s not a Ninja, he’s a Hero.
Different job classes.
The Japanese one looks like a still from an anime or something. Voted American since it seems a bit truer to the game.

Re: Back Page: The Best Cows On The Nintendo Switch
@shonenjump86 oooh the genesis app! I totally forgot it existed to be honest. Thanks I’ll check it out there.
Re: Back Page: The Best Cows On The Nintendo Switch
@shonenjump86 is Earthworm Jim actually on the switch? Honest question, I’d like to play it.
Re: Back Page: The Best Cows On The Nintendo Switch
I love cows, they’re my favorite animal.
I’m not sure how I feel about including One World’s design as a means to diss the game though. Cows are about positivity and love.
Anyway, yes the Bubble Cow is the best cow design ever.
Re: Poll: Box Art Brawl - Duel: Jack Bros. (Virtual Boy)
The American one covers the face of the main character.
It loses my vote just for that alone.

@Emacster which one did ya get?
Re: Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster Series For Switch On Sale, 20% Off Every Title & Bundle
@Woodyshoe III is a good one to begin with. IV and VI and likely regarded as the best ones in the bunch though.

Re: Stardew Valley Creator Provides Another Update About Version 1.6
It’s kinda funny how it started with “idk, maybe just a few minor additions, making modding simpler, etc. Don’t expect too much. ”
Re: Pokémon Scarlet And Violet Officially Reveal New Mythical Pokémon
After such a long time without Poison type legendaries or mythicals, the recent games have been showing the Poison type a lot of love.

Any segment in modern Resident Evils when the game removes my infinite rocket launcher.

Re: Poll: Box Art Brawl - Duel: Contact
Not gonna lie, I love the little sprite sheet style of the European box.
That would’ve made me consider the game a lot more than the profile of a random kid.

@Tisteg80 This is meant for toddlers and other young children, its not really meant to be a new direction for their Switch versions.
